I really loved this place! It's inside Selfridges so it's a great place to visit when looking to have lunch whilst shopping or even an afternoon tea or drink! The food was really great, so well presented and with great flavour - you can tell that the chef is a true professional and takes pride in his/her work! I had the set lunch menu with a coffee and loved every bit of it although I was pretty full by the end of it! The service and ambience was also very good! I would definitely revisit next time I'm in London!
I knew when I was getting old, but thought I was still young – when I realised I started using hashtags(#) in almost all of my conversations these days, it even made its way into this articles title. I spend so much of my time on social media that its sort of integrated into part of my life. It’s not just the language either, hashtags are an important tool to finding some of the most exciting stuff on the internet – it’s the best way to search out those niches you’re after, wether it be #truffle, #finedining or in this case #MeetTheChefs, which is part of Selfridges Meet the Makers focus across the store. Admittedly a friend of mine invited me to this special dinner at Selfridges but I’d seen it making its way around the media for a few days before, so got very excited when the opportunity to attend came up.
Great restaurant with great food. Service is really friendly and attentive as well. We enjoyed our light lunch!
The restaurant is located on the second floor of Selfridges and remember to make reservations well in advance.
The potato cake is a must try!
Cosy and intimate cafe located in Selfridges. We enjoyed the view of Oxford Street from the first floor on a hot summery day.
Tiramisu and cheesecake were lovely and sweet. Although this is the first tiramisu I had, there was no slight alcohol taste apparent which was a bit saddening.
The stars of the show were the non-alcoholic cocktails I tried. Very refreshing!
Was having an awful day and so decided to head to the nearest bar I could find. Stumbled across The Corner and I’m SO glad I did. I was immediately welcomed by the warm and friendly staff, sat down and served. The Strawberry Fields cocktail was absolutely gorgeous, as were the appetisers. I never really write reviews but the staff made such a huge difference to my day and I really appreciated it. I will definitely be coming back here again. A special thanks to Violetta who made sure I was catered to start to finish.
Amazing fresh and tasty food. Wonderful service and the best view for people watching over Oxford St. Highly recommended for lunch or an intimate meet up with friends.
Light and airy smallish restaurant snack bar.
Food was very good with Arab spices. Good wines.
Well its Selfridges&Co, price will be expensive!
But afternoon tea was great! However the tea didnt feel really special just basic tea
Nice place we tried the coffee and sweet after our tiring shopping
The food used to be incredible here, shame their chefs changed. Front of House really lets this place down.
Even though I didn't get the pleasure of dining here I'm not going to fault them too much for this. I was pleased to see that had the kitchen been open we had been perfectly placed at the corner table in The Corner restaurant 😃😊 (doesn't take much to please me!)
The manager did kindly relocate us to another spot where we got to enjoy our afternoon.
I do look forward to coming by again and hopefully still get the corner table and some food too
Lovely, buzzy and almost felt normal again. Friendly service too.

LOVE! I normally just come here for some champagne and olives when shopping since a bit of an oasis in the madness (always excellent service btw), but today ordered the salmon starter - it's amazing! A very generous portion of delicious salmon (to the point I thought they'd made a mistake and given me the large one)...! Well done!
I ate there recently and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The hostess offered me a choice of seats. After I’d placed my order a taster of celeriac soup made my tastebuds anticipate my food and I was not disappointed. Cauliflower soup was piping hot and took me back to my college days making creme dubarry.
The Dorset crab cakes were delicious and I liked the salad dressing a lot.
This was my first visit but won’t be my last!
We went to the Corner restaurant in Selfridges for the set meal with MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt and the runner up Greg. It was fantastic.
The service was great and the restaurant really light and airy. The food was sensational (if not slightly slow on the service), a real treat. The lamb and beef inparticular were melt in the mouth. We had the wine pairing, an excellent decision!
Best scones and afternoon tea. The bar has amazing cocktails. The atmosphere is nice and quiet compared to other places to eat in selfridges. Good hide away after a good shopping experience! My wife and I were visiting London and stopped in to Selfridge's to reconnect a bit with the PBS series. What a fotuitous find for us to have discovered the Corner at Selfridge's having no prior knowledge of the restaurant and no reservations! I had the Welsh lamb. Merguez sausages, bean salad and Venturi wine. My wife had the cod with spring salad and Chablis. The meals were superb; prepared, we were told, by a french chef with all fresh ingredients. The service from our waiter, Elena, was prompt, attentive and very friendly. This was a true hidden gem for us.
