My favourite Indian in Southgate. Every dish I've had so far are great. The lamb in particular is always delicious. Definitely try the Keema Nan.

An old school friend of mine is luckily for me a restaurant owner. A curry house in Southgate, North London, Nurjenna is a ‘Contemporary Indian Restaurant’ catering to clients looking for a difference in taste to your typical Indian restaurant.It really is good to keep in touch with people, be it via Facebook, Twitter or any other way. When i saw that my old school friend Abu Shohid had opened a restaurant i had to visit. I took my sweet time in visiting but nine months later i did.Focused around spices, the menu offers some of the best aspects of the traditional Indian restaurant but also offers the speciality of Bangladeshi dishes. I am happy that Nurjenna is local to me as I have been wanting something nearby. I don't mind travelling for a good curry but one within close proximity is even better. Recently put forward by Local MP, David Burrowes for the Tiffin Cup, Nurjenna brings with it that class and quality needed for such a prestigious award.So after my first visit last night, I had to do an interview. Great food, cooked perfectly. From the tandoori fish to the lamb shank it was all delicately seasoned. The classics such as chicken tikka for starter and butter chicken for main were my favourites for the meal. I will definitely be back and with friendly and attentive service you are sure to be happy
First visit here after hearing good reports of this fairly new restaurant. Very welcoming and modern ambience, the mirrors make the area look massive! Table for four, all new to the restaurant, all enjoyed the excellent food with cheerful efficient service from experienced waiters. The owner / partner took time to ensure our evening was enjoyable and brought up a fine drink on the house prior to leaving. Very good competition in this area but from this visit I would say is the best!

Good service, very good, tasty food, especially the bread, the coconut flavour was just perfect with the lamb curry. The portion was perfect too.
Me and the family loved the food here. We ordered Chicken Tikka, Prawn Puree (gosh this was my favourite) and Samoosa's for starters and it was absolutely delicious! For the main meal we had Chicken Karahi, Lamb Curry and Chicken Madrass and naans. The portions are generous. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. The food was not too spicy so ideal for the kids. The service was great too. Very polite and helpful staff. Nurjenna's has a very relaxed ambience which appealed to us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant :)
Local gem hidden in Southgate's main high street, this Bangladeshi/ Indian restaurant is a cut above other local Indian restaurants.
Delicious cuisine beautifully cooked.
The stand out dishes are the Lamb Shank, wow, what an incredible dish. The bhindi bhaji is light and crispy and the tarka dhal is perfect consistency and very authentic.
Delicious and you won't be disappointed.

I ordered here for collection and, first of all, let me say that the man who picked up the phone was the absolute sweetest, so patient. Went to pick it up and again very lovely staff, they told me to sit down and get comfy. Read some of the magazines while waiting and the food was pretty quick! I ordered Lamb Ceylon and Special Fried Rice and both were delicious! The Ceylon curry was at the perfect spice level. I payed less that £10 too, so will definitely be back!

First time coming here, and had to leave a review as soon as we left, what an amazing place. Me and my husband loved the food, the atmosphere, the customer service. 10/10 for everything. Cannot fault not one thing. Very highly recommended, the food was so good and delicious, the service was excellent, and definitely at a very good price. Our first but definitely will not be our last coming. We have found our new favourite Indian restaurant.
