Donnelly's Restaurant - London - Photo album

The location was perfect! The heart of London but just off the beaten path enough to be cozy! Fantastic view of the Shard! The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection! The sauce was stellar.... and WOW! I have never tasted such an amazing alcohol free craft beer! I personally did not believe that
If you're in London, you simply must go to this restaurant! The braised lamb shoulder (£15) was delicious and was accompanied by couscous and fresh tomatoes. I also ordered a side of gem lettuce (£4.50) which was a nice accompaniment. Great food, courteous staff and very good value for money.
Brunch is delicious! Went to Donnelly's as it was recommended by a friend. The brunch was sooo good, especially the hash brown (how do they get it so crispy?!). Portions are very big as well, left me and the wife fully stuffed. Service is great here as well, staff are really friendly and attentive.
Really wonderful meal. The staff was very helpful with my long list of food allergies, and I still had a delicious dinner. The fish was so fresh, and artfully prepared with delectable grilled fennel. My husband and I both enjoyed that tremendously. My kids' burgers looked juicy and wonderful too
we had just finished the ride 100 and were desperate for some food and a beer. although the kitchen was closed, Donnellys took pity on us and fixed us up with some leftovers- much much appreciated!!!
Amazing food at Donnelly's. People rating down for poor service isn't fair on the chef or kitchen staff, and I would implore anyone to go and try for yourself. And as for people complaining about small portions, the restaurant is mainly small plates-based. You can have larger portions of everything
On my trip to London, this was by far the best restaurant, service and food! The food was so fresh, creative and delicious. I don’t eat meat often, but that pork belly looked and tasted incredible!!! Every dish was paired perfectly. Just thinking about it makes me hungry!
Pleasantly surprised by quality of food, fried chicken burger was delicious. Quite empty for a Saturday lunch, but the service was still quite slow. Reasonably priced.
Menu was full of good surprises like the pie that didn't sound like a pie. Sea bass was really nice but not sure there was really any significant difference between the regular or large portions - even though the large is twice the price. All in all good atmosphere.
We visited Donnelly's when they had a Backyard BBQ going in the back. Great after work atmosphere. BBQ was tasty. Good NA beer. Surprised they didn't have any bottled cider like Old Mout Cider, especially since they are so popular today.
Once again Donnelly's has delivered far above expectation. The menu is full of lots of really thoughtful dishes that make each bite a real experience. Amazingly tasty, epically presented. This place is a gem!
I visited with a group of friends from the wine school across the road. The food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere, highly recommended.
