Why this lovely Patisserie would only be rated 3.6 on here is beyond me! It is by far the best French patisserie in this area and continues to wow me with all the wonderful pastries and cakes. The coffee is great too and the staff are super friendly. The prices are reasonable given the high quality of all of the products sold! VERY HAPPY and keep going back weekly myself. At the moment due to Corona you can sit outside, otherwise inside too. And the place is open on weekends only for the time being.
Excellent little Patisserie with a cosy relaxed atmosphere, good range of small baguettes and pastries whether you just want a light meal or a snack to eat in or go. Staff always pleasant and welcoming, order what you want and service is to your table, then pay as you leave. I always try to visit whenever I am in the area and the Brunswick centre is just a very short walk away. Can get busy sometimes as its a small place but that for me is the real charm, along with the service , will be back soon :)
Moving to London almost 5 years ago now, Patisserie Deux Amis, (or the French Patisserie as we came to call it by) was one of the very first cafés I visited in the capital. Tucked away on Judd Street, and just down from London St Pancras International Station, Patisserie Deux Amis is a small spot of solace away from the busyness of London life. The café quickly became one of my favourite rendezvous points. The name itself Café of two friends perfectly sums up the atmosphere of the place, which caters almost exclusively for small gatherings (given the size of the café). The café serves a variety of homemade cakes, bakery foods and baguettes, which are the perfect accompaniment to their selection of teas, cold drinks and coffees. Two particular favourites of mine are their chicken, bacon and cranberry baguette, and apricot pastries, but they also have tasty spinach quiches which come with homemade French dressing. Patisserie Deux Amis is a place of solace within central London Even whe
I've been to this cosy little patisserie a number of times already as I study and live close by. It's a short walk from Kings Cross and serves a range of pastries, baguettes, desserts, tarts and coffees, and is a great place to have a leisurely meal anytime of the day! Their baguettes are some of the best I've tried, and far superior than any of the usual chains nearby. I'd highly recommend both the pâté and the chicken, bacon and cranberry baguettes which are packed with flavour and the baguette is always lovely and crunchy.
This place tends to be slightly crowded on weekends, as the store is quite tiny, so I would opt for takeout if you're in a rush.
Our go to café on the weekends. Always a pleasure to see the lovely couple behind the counter with the many delicious options they have. One of the only places in London only that sell legit french baguettes. The atmosphere inside to eat-in is just magical and relaxing and perfect to start a day on the weekend.
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and picked up an absolutely delicious strawberry tart. Good quality pastry, sweet and fresh creme patisisiere, and fragrant strawberries that you could smell through the box.
Delightful owners, and despite it only being open on weekends, a treat if you're in the area.
We came into this French cafe in London called Patisserie Duex Amis for a spot of breakfast and we were heading on our way to the British Museum. One of the things that caught my attention was the smell of the fresh pastries, this wasn't like how regular shops smell when they reheat frozen food, I could almost smell the butter and I was instantly sold.
We went in and it's a cosy cafe, with a lovely range of food on display my partner and I decided to have the cinnamon swirl and we had fresh orange juice with this. We then got to our table and it was delicious, it had the perfect texture and the flavour was fresh and perfect for breakfast. I did wish I had more time to stay here to eat more but I'm glad we came here and the best of all was this was unplanned and it was a lovely surprise.
The staff were nice too and they let us pick the specific swirls we wanted as each was unique and some were thick and some were thin. The orange juice came with ice in a glass. I felt like I was in France for a moment!
Beautiful little cafe/Patisserie run by a lovely local couple. Highly recommended for a visit
Beautiful little patisserie in London. Pastries were great and the lovely couple who run it are the sweetest.
Lovely little French cafe! Beautiful interior and great place to sit and spend an afternoon reading a book and drinking coffee. Only thing is they only serve everything in takeaway containers (even if sitting in). So only 4 stars from us there.
Best croissants this side of the Channel, this bakery imports its ingredients from France and produce the most delicious and authentic baguettes, croissants and beautiful cakes. Open just the weekends, 10 - 2pm, this is the perfect place for breakfast and lunch.
Almond croissants to die for, rich in flavour, buttery, covered in roasted almonds. Cappuccino was also delicious.
Fantastic friendly service!
Charming little cafe with friendly staff. Lovely coffees and pastries offered at a lower price and higher quality than any high street cafe.
I had tea with cheese and onion quish here. This place is tiny, cosy and light. The owners are super nice. I enjoyed my meal and my time here.

Absolutely lovely! Perfect place to have something delicious while drinking coffee. Enjoyed meeting two ladies who live nearby.
A must try for anyone seeking the perfect almond croissant! This patisserie is legendary with the locals, and there’s always a warm welcome.

This was such an adorable and cosy little bakery/shop! They have delicious food (mmm chocolate croissants), various beverages, friendly personnel, and the atmosphere made me want to spend all week eating breakfast there. If you are in the neighbourhood be sure to check it out, and I would recommend the chocolate croissants with some tea.
And hopefully next time we can sit outside as they also have a cute little outside part with 2 tables and beautiful chairs.
A very friendly and cozy small cafe. Pastry selection is somewhat limited compared to what you would expect from a french bakery, but very pleasant.
I've been going here since 1999 - it's small, but amazing!
Lovely fresh crusty filled baguettes - same fillings for years, but why mess with perfection? Cakes are superb too. Whenever friends visit from abroad, I always take them here.
AAA : )
Gorgeous cafe. Fabulous and helpful owners. Classic and beautifully executed range of patisserie and savoury treats.
A little gem!!
The staff at the café are very jovial and friendly: they made space for me when they were full and quickly found a larger table when one became available, despite my just drinking coffee and not ordering food. The coffee, on that note, was delicious and reasonably-priced. The décor is cute and this would make a lovely date spot!
Beautiful family owned only-open-on-weekends pattiserie.
Delicious tarts and quiches!
