The Elgar Room Brasserie - London - Photo album

Faultless. Seated promptly and our server for the evening, Alan, was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the menu, both for the food and the drink and came up with a great pairing suggestion for the curry I had. The starter (honeyed carrots) and the mains (vegetable Thai yellow curry) were both sup
We arrived late but was greeted warmly. My wife and I had the same blistered carrot starter which was sensational. My wife's steak to be honest was cooked very well but had a few to many tough bits for an expensive cut of meat, my pork belly was amazing along with both our deserts. The standard of s
We booked a meal at the restaurant before a musical concert and it was a lovely experience. We were served by ALAN and he gave us helpful hints about each meal and drinks so we ended up ordering tasty meals. Alan explained the process of holding tables & allowed us to rush off for the concert, to re
We had a delicious meal prior to the Simon Rattle Paradise and the Peri prom. The food was cooked with love, beautifully presented and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very chilled. Thank you Anita for looking after us so well. Overall our experience at the Elgar Room made this memorable evening
The perfect location for a meal before a show…the staff run things very tight so you can be sure of you’ll be fed, and seated before curtain up. Everyone is really friendly, the food is good, and somehow it doesn’t feel rushed at all. Impressive and delicious.
Lovely dinner before a show! Anita made us feel super special tonight. We definitely will come back!
I have only ever been to the Elgar rooms for a pre-concert meal. For this it is very good. Staff are efficient and helpful. They only have one sitting all evening unless there is jazz or a piano recital late in the evening. This means you can leave coats and come back for desert and wine at the inte
Good food, friendly helpful staff. Lovely venue. Reasonable price. Always worth another visit when we go to the proms.
We had dinner at the Elgar ahead of the Christmas Carols at the Hall. It was an ideal pre-show destination, with a nice selection of food, attentive staff and reasonably cooked food. Its not cheap but it was a great start to the night’s entertainment.
Food was lovely. Drinks really expensive. It was very busy but the staff did their best to keep everyone happy.
Great restaurant, lovely food, but expensive, so slight hiccup regarding dessert and coffee in the first interval wasnt appreciated but overall good experience.
The sandwich of the day was great and passable value for a venue such as this. Staff friendly and helpful.
Great venue, super food then just walk downstairs to see the ballet - superb.
Jazz festival week. The Elgar Room provides pure quality sound, nice intimate space for couples to go and chill and listen to quality music. The lighting and atmosphere is lovely. Well worth a visit.
