Loved the food. Had the same Indian taste. Cost of the menu is little pricey. Interiors of the restaurant was attractive and interesting. Cleanliness of the restaurant can still be improved. The serving person can also be little friendly next time. He was looking hard faced. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again for the Indian taste.

£7 for 2 courses, and £10 for 3 courses, really good value for a quick and comfortable eating-in. Tasty Indian street food served here, loved the paneer kati roll, samosas and chicken biriyani! Chicken wings can be skipped if you only look for Indian food. Staff was very friendly and restaurant was well decorated. One of the nicest restaurant on Old York Road, I have seen increasing number of really nice restaurants in Wandsworth!

Enjoyed eating here over a year ago now. Good place to try out an authentic Indian menu, which I think serves a lot of streetfood and more informal type Indian meals. In my opinion, it is not the right place for a sit down, formal occasion. The tastes are not necessarily what you would expect if you have only tried British Indian food. I did not love the energy of this restaurant but I think the food matches the interior design very well !! The food was interesting to try. Thank you.

Great tasting Indian Street food bites. A lovely traditional with a modern twist interior design. Amazing art work of cartoon characters in an Indian comic book style on the wall's which can also be purchased. Good food in small street food portions. Delicious mocktail drinks and friendly staff. A must try! Restaurant is only a 5 minute drive from Southside shopping centre or a 12 minute walk.

In contrast with the graffiti themed atmosphere, The tastes were really authentic;very well blended, artistically matching and completing each other. The portions are small but the flavors compensate for that. The chicken curry is hotter than the standard if you don’t have a high tolerance for spiciness be careful with it! Very friendly staff and we Absolutely enjoyed the experience!

Chit Chat Chai". First thing which caught me is the ambiance with a semi casual looks & Cozy feeling. Are you a bookworm ? Looking for a place for formal/informal discussion ? Planning for a private party or get together ? This can be one such place to choose. It has 5 separate sections, 2 ground floor and 3 at Level 1 which includes outdoor seating too. Coming to food, it has a quite good variety of Chai and option to make your own one too along with quick munchies.

Great food matched with lovely (and Indian quirky) setting! By the nice cosy York Road! Wings can be better but the samosa chat is awesome and so is the paav bhaji. Had the day special Goan fish curry with steamed rice - which was the best I have had outside of Goa!!! Back soon 👍🏼

The quality of the food is excellent - flavours are incredibly authentic and the food is very fresh. The okra and the bhel puri were definitely the highlights though all the food was great. The chai is quite refreshing too. The proprietress is super friendly and constantly open to new ideas! Have been in dire need of a chaat place in SW London and this fits the bill perfectly.

Having visited India last year it's great to find a place close to home that serves up good Indian food. Chaat is Indian street good and their versions are great! Def recommend the beetroot and the okra for starters! Cocktails are £5 before 6 and after £9. Their massala chai is a great way to finish your meal

Best cocktails on Old York Road. Food is good too but don't be fooled by the 'award winning' chicken wings. They aren't that special. Friendly service and cool interior

Best food, best cocktails! Friendly welcome from the start. Best cocktails I've had in a very long time, incredible flavour that even keeps up with and accompanies the delicious food. Great mixing / sharing selection of street food contained in a simple menu backed up by superb curry options. Would eat here again soon! And recommend to anyone who enjoys food or drink!

Had a great meal at Chit Chaat Chai today. The service was fantastic and were spot on with their recommendations. The food was unreal. Such an incredible mix of flavours that were perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. The cocktails were really nice and we were lucky enough to be there at happy hour. We will be back often.

Delicious food - go if you're looking for something more interesting than your standard Indian! There'll be things on the menu you've never heard of or tried. It's really delicious. Loved the chicken and lamb curries and could have knocked back the samosas for days. Contrary to others, I found the pricing really good value - even quite cheap! Lovely owner, friendly staff and the restaurant's funky. Go!

Just had lunch here today, the food was really tasty and very different to the usual Indian meal. Indian street food at it's best. The service was great, friendly staff and food arrived very quickly. The ambience and decor was just right a very chilled vibe. I will be recommending this place to family and friends that's for sure.
