Very unique concept of having various different kinds of dumplings - some you won’t imagine like cheeseburger dumplings to Ukrainian style dumplings. All were very interesting and unique flavours and was good to try. We sat outside on the street so it was good on a summer day and the service was quite good even though the place was closing down the lady happily accommodated us. Would happily recommend (except for the rose which was not very good)!

Went here on a Saturday evening without any prior reservation and to my surprise there wasn’t any waiting. We got our table immediately. They have a wide menu of all quirky dumplings. We ordered two platters as that’s the best way to get to taste more options. Service was quick. Both of our platters were really yummm. Really innovative and flavourful. Also special mention to their clean toilet. I really appreciate when even in the busy places toilets are clean and usable. Defo coming back to try other dumpling which I couldn’t during my first visit. And defo recommend this place.

We ordered the Vegan Dumpling Platter (the "spring rolls" aren't 'spring rolls' they are dumplings 😂) with the glass noodles. Our favourite was the spicy 'pork' and in 2nd place, spinach sesame. (I wish they had a mushroom one!!) The glass noodles were cut up too fine in my opinion!! Non gendered toilets ✅ The service was fine. Could be less clattering and clanging of the plates and cups upstairs in the bar area is that only thing.

Lovely little place to grab a light snack/meal, liquid refreshments and soak in the energy of London’s Soho. Just a heads up though… as delicious and interesting as the dumplings are in here - Please don’t come here hungry, unless the plan is to eat 50 quids worth of dumplings and another 20 on booze to wash it down 🙈 With that said - the dumplings were light, tasty and had intriguing fillings such as thai green curry, cheese burger, mushrooms & truffle and halloumi & courgette. We ordered 2 platters which each gave you 8 dumplings with 4 different fillings, so great for 2 people if you’re feeling adventurous and want to try out as many different dumplings as possible. Good options for drinks here such as Prosecco, wine, beers, cocktails and mocktails. However these are not cheap. For example a pint of Asahi (Japanese pale lager) will set you back and eye watering £7. Service was lovely, everyone friendly and attentive. Seating was managed well as the staff checked people’s reservations and accommodated walk-ins like me and my friend really efficiently and hassle free. Server offered to talk us through the dumplings on our chosen platters too, which was great as we were already starting to play “guess what’s in the dumpling”. Restaurant is small but has seating downstairs and outdoors. Ugly dumpling was light, fun and delicious. A bit on the pricey side, but I think you’re in a place like this for a pit stop or perhaps a pause from the onslaught of modern day city life. You could even just be between meals and want to get the taste buds warmed up and well lubricated for the evening ahead. If the plan is to tie one on and paint the town red then you’re just a stone’s throw away from dozens of brilliant pubs and bars! Oh I do love London ❤️ Reply to response: Think price pipped it for me. The dumplings are good, but hard to justify spending £50 to have a meal here if I’m still hungry. Consider adding protein dish and another carb to help add some bulk to customers option. How about actual Chicken Satay? Or the Harissa Lamb Shoulder with a small bowl of steamed rice. The ingredients are there and I’d wolf those down alongside my dumplings platter. Would love even a 10% reduction or offers to reduce price of multiple drinks. As it turns out, spent more on drinks elsewhere just because your prices seemed too inflated. Anything along the lines of above and you’d be 5 stars all day long.

What a unique, creative and delicious menu and charming, cozy vibe in Soho, London! As vegetarians, we had SO MANY delicious options to choose from, and they even had delicious and creative dessert dumplings like apple tart dumplings, pecan pie dumplings and Nutella dumplings! It was a treat for the whole family! If we ever visit London again, we will surely be back here!

First time eating here. Really liked the food. I has the classic platter and shared the ugly noodles and cucumber salad with my girls. Only let down was the service. As it was our first time we were not given any instructions and so we had to keep asking how to order food and drinks as the staff there were just wrapping chopsticks and talking amongst themselves not attending to customers. We did give this feedback to the manager. It was fun colouring our own dumpling.

Really loved visiting ugly dumpling with some friends! The vegan platter was delicious, as was the cocktail I had. It’s so fun that you can decorate the coasters. A lovely place I’d definitely come back.

Delicious rare find of gluten free dumplings!! The duck ones were my favorite. Such a shame the lunch deal isn't available at all for gluten free :( ended up paying nearly double my gluten-eating friend for less food!!!!

Definitely a must visit place if you like dumplings! A really good variety and tasty dumplings - we had a few different platters but our favourite flavour was cheeseburger. Prices are affordable and the size of portions is good. On the other side, it took quite a while for our food to be ready and the staff wasn’t very attentive. Unfortunately, if you sit upstairs during winter be prepared for freezing conditions - because the space upstairs is so small every time the doors are open all the cold from the outside gets in and it’s quite unpleasant to sit there. We had to sit in our coats and it was still freezing. We also had a reservation and our table wasn’t ready on time so we had to wait until they ask people to leave - wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that staff asked us to wait outside for almost 15 mins in freezing cold, despite sitting available at the bar - we were told no one is allowed to sit there. In general food is really nice but the ambience and the service can be improved.

Been there many times and will be back many more times. I had a variety of dumplings that tasted heavenly. The satay dumpling took my tastebuds to Malaysia at the first bite and every unique pieces took me places. Highly recommended.

Really tasty and quick, definitely worth dropping in if you need a break from shopping on Carnaby Street! Had the vegetarian platter, which was super good.
