amazing service very fast.
Polite and understanding staff.
The food is absolutely amazing it simply takes you back home with in every bite!
Keep it up with the great work!
Went in a group of 6 with a Lebanese friend who was so knowledgeable about the dishes. Ordered different kinds of cold starters including sambousek, falafel, and some other things I couldn't spell, with houmous, tahini, and garlic dipping sauces. Came with fresh vegs, some pickles and bread. Mains were lamb and chicken shawarma. My Lebanese friend served us the way they usually ate back home (smashed falafel, shawarma wrapped in bread with garlic and tahini) which added to the experience. All starters and mains tasted great.
Had a piece of small fried sweets for dessert. Fresh fruit cuts tasted really nice too.
Overall recommended.
one of the best Lebanese restaurant I have been to out of middle east... my favourites are chicken shawarma, seekh kebab and jawane wings.. their potato chips are also perfectly sliced and crispy...
Tasty Lebanese food, lovely falafel. The food is good and I would definitely go back again. A little pricy, this is Knightsbridge, so that's to be expected.
Some amazing tables in the conservatory area.
Lebanese food is one of my favorite cuisines. I have to say that maroush met my expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. The service was impeccable. We ordered humus, fattoush salad, fried kibbe ( the best I have ever had), chicken and lamb shawarma. Everything was excellent. They also had lamb tongue which was fun to try. My children thought that was cool. The lamb tongue was tender and full of flavor. After they brought us a plate of fruit and small baklava. The ownership should be proud of their staff. If they are consistent, they will be around a long time.
Fun, friendly and good food, although they did bring out 1 starter and 1 main 10 minutes after the first
It was nice rest. for a Lebanese food
Satisfying arabic food the service is always fast that open till late. They do a really good wrap and its always busy. It is not somewhere that I would be rushing back to but good for a quick bit to eat
If you like middle-eastern food, this is the place for you. Main dishes are good, but I recommend ordering several small dishes instead, its so much more fun. The selection of both hot and cold mezza (small dishes) is enormous. Feast on dishes such as Moutabel Baba Ghanouj (Baba Ghanoul witth grilled eggplant pureed in), Tabouleh (that faboulous salad with a parsley base), Hommos & Bazenjan Al-Rahib (Eggplant with tomato, onion, mint & parsley). All on the cold Mezza menu and all around £5. And/or go for the hot Mezza with wonderful grilled Halloumi, Falafel, Batata Harra (fried potatos & vegetables), Jawaneh (grilled wings with the most incredible Med garlic aoli) and Soujok (a spicy sausage). Each dish between £6-7. Then there is the “Lebanese Pastry” selection, from £4-6, with the most incredible Lebanese “pies”: spinach & onion, lamb & pine nuts, Halloumi, etc. Shawarmas are £5-6. Vegetarians and non alike will be in heaven. The fresh juices are great too. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious, service is relaxed and friendly and the room is serene and beautiful.
Enjoy.
A friend took me to the back streets of Bond Street; Maroush is a hidden gem in the city. To be honest I never tried to dine in, to eat the other food from the menu. For under £5 you can get this baby as a takeout. Shawarma chicken is shavings of meat spit roasted served with salad, and pickle accompaniments.
You get a lot for your money, and it is one of the yummiest juiciest shawarma’s you can find in London. I tend to struggle not to get the garlic and meat oils to drip onto my clothes. Just looking at the photo makes my mouth water.
Absolutely love this place! I came here with my rather skeptical grandmother when she came down to visit me in London. It was her first Lebanese experience and to be honest I was quite frightened she wouldn't like it.
However, she completely loved it. There were three of us and we opted for a set meal which was meant for two, as well as a shoulder of lamb main course, which turned out to be unnecessary. All of the food was divine and there was plenty of it! With three courses including a desert of vast range of pastries and a massive complementary platter of fresh fruit I don't think I remember the last time I have so pleasantly, uncomfortably full.
The service was impeccable and the friendliness and passion of the staff for their food made the whole experience all the better. I will most definitely be returning and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine. However, the food is somewhat pricy so it is definitely more of a place to go for a treat than a more weekly meal out.
If you are a fan of lebanese food, this is the place for you. Some really nice shawrma and hot mezze. Number of options for vegetarians as well. Although the drinks variety is limited (only house beer), although enough variety for juices etc.
The signature part of the restaurant is the freshly made pita which keeps coming complementary with the food.
Would definitely visit this place soon.
Service is good.
I suggest you only go here if your planning to spend a lot, so you can try a bit of everything as there are so many amazing starters and sides. The Lesanat is one of the most amazing meats that you would ever have. Yes, it is tongue and that does sound a bit disgusting, but I very much guarantee that you would absolutely love it.
The other starter/side that would strongly recommend is Sambousek Lamb. Quite similar to the Indian Samosa, but more delicious! There are still more sides/starters! The Felafal is perhaps one of the best Felafals that you can get in London, so don't forget that.
For main try the kafta yogurtlieh, which is a very nice minced meat kebab, topped with yogurt. If your up for a sandwich, don't think twice and go for the lahm meshwi, just brilliant! And for dessert the Baklawa is a must.
The food is brilliant, the service is okay and the atmosphere is good. The only downside is the price. It's not overly expensive but if you want to have the full experience, it would cost you quite a bit.
Went there to try Lebanese cuisine with a bunch of friends, in the evening after college. We chose this particular outlet as it was a bit closer and we didn't want to travel far.
The place was not too big, and the ambiance was decent. So in our excitement to try the food, we started ordering. We ordered the standard items from the menu which included Hommos and falafel. I am a fan of hommos, and their's was quite good. The taste of chickpeas was quite fresh.
The falafel was good as well. The pita bread that they served with the hommos and falafel was not warm and fresh. One thing that I noticed was that the portions were big enough to satisfy our hunger!! I was not expecting such protions ;-) .
The ambiance of the place was good , their service a bit slow. The aubergine hommos was particularly yum (Motabal baba Ghanouj, to be more specific). Fattoush that we ordered was delicious. We ordered some normal beverages along with our food.
I think i would first like to try other places for lebanese food and then come back here. But one thing that would take me back to this place is their Baklawa, it was so mouth watering!!
Maroush is a nice hangout place for relaxed long conversation or quick bites. Apart from starters, the only reason to end up at maroush is because its cheap and a walk away from Harrods and I'm always pretty tired to walk anywhere else. That's it.
Food - The menu is huge and the portions are big. I usually get stuffed. Hummus is alright (I have never understood the hype about it).The usuals fav are lamb or chicken shawarma(awesome), platters, falafel, tabbouleh(awesome), baba ghanouj (awesome) ! Tried the aubergine stew and okra stew, they are pretty good too. At the end of food, you get square shaped sweet dish, which is nice.
Staff - The service sucks. The staff is always dull, non-enthusiastic & a bit aloof. When I last went there, for 10mins I was ignored and later they realised that we were waiting for the menu and not the cheque.
Price - Ignoring the service, for a restaurant in Chelsea, it's very reasonable for good cheap, lebanese food ! £15 for starters + Main course, what more do you need.
Great food as always.. been having here since 15 years +
But for lunch the seating area is not the best; if ur planning to take someone special, then go for dinner and sit upstairs, and it's not very lively downstairs.
The tabouley salad is exceptionally good.
Make sure u also call for the garlic dip and the chilli dip. 🌶
Hummus Beiruti might be a better alternative to the regular Hummus.
Location: 4 minute walk from Harrods.
Well staffed and good service.
Oh god
It was really good. Very authentic Lebanese food. To top it all the service was amazing. I asked the girl to pack the food and she was like I will pack the fresh bread so it lasts longer. These small things make us customers more happy.
I really appreciate efforts by the waiters. Also, the pricing was quite nominal. Thank you you when you get more details and that’s what makes your love you more Mohd group
One of the best places in London to get authentic Lebanese food. The food itself is rich in flavour, authentic and delicious! I enjoyed the experience, the food and customer service. I certainly recommend others to visit this place to get true Lebanese experience. The facilities in the restaurant is clean and in good working order.
Great food and drinks
Fantastic friendly staff
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional dining experience my family and I had at your restaurant recently.
We visited Maroush to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we were blown away by the outstanding customer service we received. Despite having visited your establishment in the past, this time, the level of attentiveness from your staff truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, making us feel incredibly welcome.
Not only was the service exceptional, but the food was also absolutely delicious. It was a culinary delight that added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. We had such a lovely time that it will be a memorable birthday celebration for my husband.
Once again, I want to extend my sincere thanks to your staff for their accommodation, warmth, and dedication to providing a fantastic dining experience. Your team's efforts truly made our evening special, and we cannot wait to visit Maroush again in the future.
Please convey our appreciation to everyone involved, and we look forward to returning to your restaurant soon.
Staff really friendly, helpful. Very busy with locals, always a good sign. Salads and meat dishes full of real flavours and taste. Prices same as anywhere else, not rip off London prices. Full menu viewable on their website with prices.Tried a bottle of Lebanese wine, surprisingly nice- never tried it before, but good value.
Loved the food. But then again, I love the mild yet intricate spices of Lebanese cuisine. Cooked to perfection. The food came quick, no frills necessary, which is what I needed after a very long day. Only 4 stars for service because I would have enjoyed a smile rather than the long face. Should have been 4.5 but alas, there isn't an option for it.
Great food, and I loved the chicken cubes. Would definitely recommend.
the best restaurant in London
Very nice food also good service
Top Lebanese cuisine, can't be beaten. Highly recommend the Lamb Shawarma, Sucuk, Halloumi, Lamb Shank and Chicken Livers. Their chilli sauce is top class too
Lebanese food never fails. All dishes were so flavoursome and delicious. The pastries however, were quite lemony, so be prepared but atleast you get your vitamin c! The pittas were served cold and i would have liked a more fluffy bread but this is just a personal preference and nothing against maroush. Definitely coming back to try more dishes, and will be bringing the whole family!
Can't find better Lebanese food than Maroush.
One of my favourite meals in London! I had the fattoush salad with chicken and halloumi add ons and it was 10/10 and the tastiest fresh lemon juice. Service was great with a super friendly and polite waiter !
Amazing authentic Lebanese restaurant for shawarma and Lebanese grills. I love the taboleh, the humus, the fattoush and of course the shawarma. It’s simply the best shawarma in central london. I especially love this particular branch. It has two areas of seating one below and one above for fine dining. Service is quick. There are long lines of people waiting to eat the yummy shawarma.
Very good Lebanese food. We had Tabbouleh, Fatthet Homous & Lebanese sausages. It was delicious food and very reasonably priced for the quality. It's informal dining which was perfect for a stop during an afternoon stroll through the Kensington area.
This place was wonderful! I visited London for a vacation and I saw this cute little restaurant while walking. This was absolutely delicious, and I would eat here all my life. The chicken schwarma was great, and the bread with the hummus and the bean dip. I finished off the rest of my family’s schwarmas it was so good. 10/10 r esturaunt, but we did have a bit of a wait before being seated, but the server and the host were so nice and the environment was comforting and homey.
