Absolutely amazing food is all I can say. Normally I totally avoid Thai food. But family wanted to have something other than fish n chips n burger so selected this place. Class decor n service. The food was just outstanding I must say. We had the following

Thai green salad.
Even the Thai greens was bursting with flavours. Prawns tempura was out of the world.
A must visit place
The concept of sharing tables was unknown to me and I was not ready for it. But when I was seated at a large table with my friend and with some other strangers, it had the opposite effect on me and I loved every minute of my dining experience after that. The food is sublime! They really can’t go wrong with your order. We had vegetable spring rolls, Jasmine rice, and Green Thai curry. And just writing their names makes me want to devour them again. The service is quick and on the day we went, it was quite understandable that the servers were extremely busy since it was the rush hour so no complaints there! The staff is breathtakingly friendly. But the only thing that did not settle well with me was the absence of a diverse dessert menu. They only had two flavors of ice-cream to offer. But overall, it was a soul-satisfying experience! Visiting again and SOON!
The Vegetarian Thai Green curry is one of the best I’ve had - highly recommended. Was well balanced with a kick of spice to get taste buds going !

The waitress took our orders and we had to wait 25 minutes before we asked someone else where the food was, who also didn’t check. We then checked with the manager who said the order was never added to the system.
The manager took the order again and offered a complimentary meal however we were in a rush and had to leave before finishing it.
Now the food was amazing really..

I have no complaints about this restaurant. Everything about this place is really good. Service, ambience, taste and quality were all good however I somehow have had better Thai Food else where as well so I wouldn't rave much about it. At the end of my whole meal I would say I still had a fantastic dinner and have been served well with great food.
After getting to London I was really missing the spicy zing of India.
Busaba hit all the spicy notes.
We started off with the Salted Edamame and The Spicy Som Tam salad.. we literally had smoke coming out of our ears.. if you like spicy you should eat this

My favourite Thai place in the entire world. The way they do Thai is authentic and tasty at the same time. A super friendly staff improves your experience.
This is another long pending review and certainly a well deserved one. Visited this place on the weekend before Easter and quite surprisingly it wasn't bustling or busy. The interiors and decor of this place are beautiful and the concept of sharing table with other guests isn't bad either. Everyone's busy devouring their own meals.
The staff here is exceptionally attentive and courteous. Hospitality was top notch.
We placed an order for veg spring rolls, veg pad Thai, sticky jasmine rice along with greens gravy.
All in all the spring rolls were delicious, the veg of Thai noodles were scrumptious and the rice was sticky and piping hot. However the gravy was a letdown and when they said it was egg based tofu I certainly wasn't expecting tofu inside of an egg sort of a thing. Apart from this other dishes were good and the time taken to serve was short too.
When in London next, I hope to pay this place a visit :)

Busy a is my new favorite Thai eatery. The menu options although familiar have a unique element with some unusual delicious flavours that are much more interesting that the usual Thai food you might try. The Thai calamari and Phad Thai noodles were amazing and full of flavour. Will definitely be good back to sample more of the tasty dishes

The chicken red curry and the chilly prawn with jasmine rice!! Oh! Wow!!!!!!! The food was insane... Set in an amazing location, just by the corner of st. Christopher's, fill your bellies and head for a beer there!
Best place for fast food Thai. Best three dishes to try are the Thai calamari, the chilli prawn fried rice and the green chicken curry. The new Thai rotis are a good addition to the menu.
As a full-blown foodie, the one question that I’m surprisingly quite wary of being asked is about my favourite restaurant. How do I even begin to break it down? By cuisine? By city? By location within the city? By category – fine dining versus cheap and cheerful? And then there are new favourites versus the reliable classics.

Slurp. The setting and ambience were even more cosy and exciting! Had a nice afternoon lunch with friends.
The only downside though was that the waitresses were a little hasty with taking the order and did seem to be rushing us during the whole time. Maybe there was something we didn't know about, but would appreciate it if you worked on it.
I am always BLOWN away at how good Thai food can be, but even more so when it comes out of left field. Apparently it's a great franchise, and while I can't speak for the franchise as whole, this one shop is just TOOOOOOOO good to not be a 5/5.
It is a first come first serve place, so if you do arrive and there's a little bit of a cue...endure! The Thai calamari is SOOOO worth it!!

Average but nice. Firstly you have to queue, but it goes fast as they serve food really quick. About 10 people seat at the same table, rather cramped. It was unbearably warm inside and too noisy. The food price was ok as well as the taste.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Their food was incredibly tasty, I had the Sen Chan Pad thai and Guava Colins drinks. The pad thai was extraordinarily aromatic, looked appetising and tasted delicious. The staff were really friendly and the place had a great atmosphere inside.
Basuba is just a great restaurant. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is good. During my last visit, I had the pod Thai joy and the aromatic vegetarian curry. It was simply superb. My best Thai restaurant around Oxford circus!

With dim lighting and slick dark brown décor, Busaba Eathai gives you a very high-class feel even with pricing similar to places like Wagamama. I really appreciate the setting because there is also an alternative to the dim lighted area. This alternate area is brighter and a bit less formal. All around, there is a very giddy feeling to the restaurant and the waiters do their best to make sure of a smooth lunch or dinner and to be honest, that makes a huge impact on the experience.
The food was great and you cannot go wrong with most of the meals on the menu. They normally send the food all together, so your starters are part of your entrée. I really loved the Thai calamari and the texture it presents, in contrast to the steam rice, which I ordered with the chilli prawn. I really enjoyed the different tastes and I encourage you to try some new things here and not just settle for the very mainstream dishes like green curry even if Busaba Eathai does a good job with it.
Pricing is very fair and decent. This place guarantees a good time.

I visited this place on a friday night with friends. The seating arrangement here is pretty interesting as you are seated with other people if your group is less than nine. The menu is precise but there is enough range of meat, fish and vegetarian across starters, mains and sides to choose from. I ordered for tofu, spinach stir fry with spring rolls as sides. I thoroughly enjoyed my spring rolls but the tofu dish was a little disappointing as it became bland after it cooled but my friends enjoyed their chicken and rice dishes. The service was pretty efficient for which we were automatically charged 10% extra in the bill
I recently visited this place and had a pleasant experience here. I loved the food which was excellent and was cooked to perfection. The quantity was quite good and thus, this place offers good value food. The service was pretty decent and thus, I would love to visit this place again.

This place is very conveniently located at a central area and is easily accessible. We were a party of seven people and were seated promptly on arrival. The food was also served pretty quickly and tasted brilliant. The atmosphere was that of a typical chain restaurant and we were seated on a large square wooden table with benches. The one downside was that it was a bit pricey. The portions are small as compared to the prices at which they are offered. So, the dishes are not really conducive to sharing. A great place for some great Thai food. The ambiance of the place is extremely inviting and comfortable. It is casual in its vibe and one is sure to have a good time. The food is quite good. My personal favorite would be the Phadon chicken. An interesting place to enjoy with a group of friends.
I was brought here by one of my friends who had been here the night before and I loved it. She is a big foodie so I knew that it would be good. The welcome was very warm and the staff were very friendly. The selection of food was varied and everything tasted amazing. Portions were generous. The seating is spacious and not cramped up. My go-to,Thai place in central London. The quality is consistent and delectable. They do the basic Pad Thai well but I prefer the twist to the original Pad Thai for the extra dose of veggies.
This place is always busy and it's clever that they have the shared table set up to move the line faster. It's probably not ideal if you're on a date but I'm usually here with a small group of partners so sharing a table is not an issue.
This restaurant offers delicious food. The Guava dish is a must try for all. Love the flavoursome blend of guava with a hint of lime, underpinned by a touch of coconut. Its a great way to set you up for the meal that follows.

We visited this place after a long day of shopping, and were starving by the end of it. It was a nice experience. We ordered the Pad Thai, the Green Curry Chicken, the Jungle Chicken, jasmine rice and coconut rice. All the entrees were delicious and balanced. The Pad Thai was the right combination of sweet and sour and the chicken went well with the eggplant. I especially favoured the green curry- it was yummy. I went to this place earlier this week and have to admit that they make delicious food. I had ordered squid, prawns, chicken and fried rice. Convincing my parents for this one was surely difficult but they too agreed after dining that it was a choice well made. This place, part of a famous chain of restaurants had a large square, communal tables serving a menu of authentic Thai food. They served chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, creamy green curry , perfectly seasoned pad thai , simply delicious. Looking for a quick meal, I along with my friends visited this restaurant. I had char grilled chicken with sticky rice whereas my other friends decided to have Prawn Pad Thai and Ginger Peppercorn Thai Calamari respectively. I was hoping for a Hainanese Chicken Rice replica and was extremely delighted when I had a look at my order. I was offered an entire chicken leg and it tasted really good. The spicy sauce was a delight and the pickled salad complimented the entire meal really well.

I tried all the noodles which are on the menu and they are superbly tasty. You can never have a bad dish here but according to my experience stay away from fruit salad here , it was not bad but you can have much better things here so avoid that.
The Busaba chain is one of my favourite casual places to eat in London. The food is amazing, the staff is very patient. The juices here are good and fresh. The prices are found to be mid range, however, the pricing of the pizza could be revised. The complexion of the place is lovely but the only shame is the waiting in the queue. However, if people are willing to wait to be seated for 20-30 minutes you know the food has got to be good!

Busaba Eathai are a chain of Thai restaurants all over London.What makes the experience different about dining at Busaba is their communal dining system. I love how random people share the table. Some people are not very comfortable with it but trust me the food makes it worth it.
My favourite dishes at Busaba are their Tom Yum, Red beef curry and Chilli Prawn. Their Pad Thai Jay is one dish I love. I am total meat lover but this is one vegetarian Pad thai I prefer over the non vegetarian ones. The fried calamari and vegetable spring roll are also worth a mention.
The staff is super friendly and service is very quick. The only negative about this place is it gets a bit too noisy sometimes .
Busaba Eathai is a very nice thai restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. The place is very cosy and that's one of the reasons I like to go back. They somehow have this really discreet lights inside which makes you feel confortable.

I like the calamari for a starter and last time I went for Pad Thai noodles as I forgot what type of noodles I've ordered the previous time which I absolutely loved. Pad Thai was not bad either. Be careful when you see the sign super hot because they mean it. I thought it should be alright and I've ordered this super spicy chicken for my brother who never had thai food before. It was so hot that he was all red and sweating and when I tried it myself I've realised he wasn't exaggerating.
Overall, it's a nice place to eat and I can highly recommend it.

For starters I'd recommend the fried calamari. Then you can either look at the pad thai or the green curry with rice for the mains.

Where to begin with the food at this place! Definitely in my top 10 favourite places to visit in London! Whether you go simply for their perfectly cooked and seasoned creamy, coconutty green curry served with a portion of sticky rice, or their Pad thai noodles with prawns, chicken, tofu and much more, busaba is a place that I have loved since the first time I went there 3 years ago! The level of quality and service is remarkable and has remained consistent throughout, Â what makes the experience all the more fun is their communal dining system! However, this can be awkward at times, especially when you're stuck sitting next to someone who you might either know through a friend or just a random person who you aren't exactly there to dine with! Nonetheless, the food here definitely makes up for any awkwardness that might be created due to this. Personally, I've never experienced it as everyones in the same place as you!Â

Busaba Eathai is a chain of restaurants scattered around London sharing the same concept. You walk in and get an immediate whiff of scented incense sticks and floating candles, the perfect entrance to set the scene for a Thai meal.Â
The decor is modern and quite dark; wooden benches around large square tables that are shared, so you might sit next to an unknown person!
Waiting time varies, this branch is quite large so if you are a small to medium size group you should get a table immediately. For larger tables (and depending on the time) you could be waiting for up to 20 minutes.
The pad thai is great, and so is the pad kwetio which is my regular order. Amongst these, Thai green curry is a popular dish which is usually paired with sticky rice.Â
Don't forget to try their juices - very exotic!
Average price: £15-£20 per head.
Love Busaba eathai. Have been visiting this place every time I go to london since 2006 when I first went there and must say it's always been good. The morning glory is simply superb. The pad thai is amazing and so is the Thai curry. Always a good meal.

So, I know this restaurant isn’t exactly an obscure pop up, I’m most definitely not introducing you all to a new venture – truth is, my taste buds were missing the strong flavours of Thailand, and I’ve heard only good things so, last week I met a friend in the evening, and we decided to brave their Bird Street branch, which is off of Oxford Street.
We arrived at peak time, 19:30, and believe it or not, considering our central location there were many available seats. Like many Asian restaurants nowadays, Busaba Eathai has several large square tables which are shared with various consumers – some tables actually seated like 12 people, I guess it all depends on how close you want to get to your fellow hungry consumers.
Once you enter the restaurant you’re greeted with that typical smell of incense, but it’s actually pretty subtle, and I guess masks the really strong smells from the open kitchen. The lighting is ambient, and with the wooden interior it honestly creates a very intimate feel to the place – considering the fact that you’re sitting with complete strangers on the same table, this intimate feeling is actually quite a hard thing to achieve.
One thing that blew me away about this restaurant, I don’t know if it was this location in particular, but the staff are super attentive and friendly. Considering it was my first visit, my waiter was super patient and explained the menu and even gave me a few recommendations.
Now, they did have a Mussaman curry, but it was a duck variation, so instead I opted for:
Ginger Beef Stir Fry – Thai Pepper, chilli and spring onion
Sticky Rice
The food arrived pretty promptly, and I was pretty impressed at the generous servings. My stir fry came in a separate pot and my sticky rice came in this cute little woven basket – all I know is I absolutely demolished it. Before I get in to the food, I want to literally talk about my love for their cutlery – it was a three prong fork, that actually was curved…spork? I don’t know where they bought it from, but I want and need it in my life.
Okay, so the beef was beautifully tender, the fact that I didn’t have a knife and only had a spork meant that this could have been a problem, but the meat literally melted away every time I touched it. The spring onions were beautifully crunchy, and actually mildly sweet. The peppers complimented this sweetness, and the chili only gave a mild spice in the background.
What I need to talk about though is the lemongrass – WOW. This stuff kicks such a punch, and I actually find it spicier to eat than chillies. But, it honestly transported me back to Thailand, and I completely commend them for that. My taste buds popped in excitement as I enjoyed the contrast between the crunchiness of the vegetables and the softness of the meat, until I literally licked the plate clean.
One thing I feel I have to explain though, is that even though this is technically a stir fry – which you normally expect to be dry…it wasn’t. It was great to have some sauce to add to the sticky rice, otherwise I guess it could have been quite bland. I adore this place, and can’t wait to try something new on the menu – great vibe, great staff, reasonable prices and an incredible array of food.

i have been to busaba many a times, and i love this place though there are no signs and i always forget where it is located. the thai food here is amazing, it is perfectly seasoned and is spicy. the red thai prawn curry with sticky rice is just yummy, the seating and ambiance is also very cool and different, i always feel happy when i go here.

Getting out of the cold, we duck into Busaba Eathai off Oxford Street (Bird Street to be precise) for a quick bite. Chargrilled chicken with Sticky Rice for me, Prawn Pad Thai for Friend S and Ginger Peppercorn Thai Calamari to share. We were pretty hungry.
Hoping for a Hainanese Chicken rice replica, i was extremely happy with my dish. Although a bit peeved at being offered an entire chicken leg (What, I'm expected to cut it myself?), it tasted gooooood - the sauce was a spice delight, the pickled salad throwing a sneaky punch, all elements having a little party with my tastebuds.
The star though was undoubtedly the Calamari, a touch of honey adding some sweetness to the dish, it was flavoursome, soft, hot and melt in the mouth good.
This might be a chain restaurant, but a good one. A perfect end to a cold Monday and a satisfying meal to see me through to a long week ahead.
This is probably the best thai food I have had in London. Being a hard core seafood lover I have tried all of their seafood options. The squid for the appetizer is brilliant. The portion is a little small but totally worth it. The same goes with the southern fish with rice. The flavours are perfect and there is nothing overpowering. The other main courses that one must try is the pad thai jay. I am not a big fan of dry shrimp so i prefer the pad thai jay which is vegetarian. I have been there many times but I have never tried their desserts. I was not happy with the chilli prawn fried rice as it was not deveined properly. But otherwise the food has always been great.

Busaba is one of the first places where I experienced the concept of a community table. Seated on a large round table in my group of 4, we were suddenly joined by a new couple. Our confused looks were read by the hostess that explained the concept of community dining tables - they seat multiple groups on the same table, in an attempt to make the meal more social. In case you are short of a conversation within your group, you can always spend some time to know new people!
The ambience otherwise is a cozy dark interiored seating with dim lighting. It would have been calm to had the restaurant not been so popular with large queues.

Coconut Water with Lychee Juice - Avoidable, It is literally a mixture of the two - no WOW Factor.
Grapefruit Mojito with vanilla, lime and chilli - Interesting to hear but rather weird to taste

Having lived in London for over a year , I have been a Busaba regular. The thought of fast Thai food seems like a let down, but Busaba Eathai gets it just right. The constantly buzzing atmosphere and the always crowded community tables lend a unique liveliness to the place. The food might not be authentic but is perfect in it own way. Special dishes like the green curry fried rice are unique and satisfying. My personal favourite is the side portion of thai calamari. The Pad Thai is always good. The variety of drinks served are refreshing and add to the meals wholesomeness. The only thing missing is desserts - but most of the time the main course leaves no room for that at all! Overall it is delicious food at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a fast paced really good Asian meal - this is the place to go.
I recently dined at Busaba, a Thai restaurant, and found the food to be good but somewhat average. While the flavors were decent, they didn't particularly stand out. Unfortunately, we had to skip dessert due to the slow service, as we were concerned about our limited time. On a brighter note, the drinks were exceptionally delicious and added to our dining experience. We look forward to returning when we have more time to explore their dessert menu.
Just visited this place. Had amazing time here. Pravin was my server and he made some really good recommendations for food and drinks and was very kind to me. He made the experience better.
I had the veg spring rolls, the guava juice and another juice with orange in it(it was Thai name so I can’t remember). Everything was delicious. Would recommend this place for sure.

We visited on a Super busy Saturday afternoon in December, we were seated quite quickly despite how busy it was, this is because they have large square tables with communal seating. The interior is atmospheric, low light and a bit sexy with incense, candles and little pools of floating flowers as you enter. For a chain restaurant, the food is very good and not too expensive. The menu is varied and they update it regularly without getting rid of classic favourites like the Thai Calamari which is now available in a vegan version and is just as tasty as the original. The toilets are clean and monitored regularly.

Busaba by St Christopher's place was right next to our first apartment in London. This was quite dangerous. We ate here a lot. I remember vividly enjoying their crab fried rice many a time. We visited again after 4 years and tried some new things - we were very happy to see the main owner still there and he was super friendly.
We had the Weeping Tiger Jay - this was really interesting because they were big pieces of soy that resembled almost like a beef, in an almost sweet sauce. I really enjoyed it.
We also had the Red Jungle Curry. I was pretty surprised with this one because it didn't say it was vegetarian, but it also didn't list any meat in it. I figured that the curry paste may have had fish in it or there was fish sauce in the dish. The dish actually came with big chunks of chicken! So I was a bit surprised, but I also didn't ask which was my fault. We enjoyed it anyway.
The side of greens were also delicious with really nice hints of garlic and ginger.
Everything was wonderfully flavoured and our waitress was very good. We were so happy to be able to visit again and be so happy with the food!

Thai food at its best. We visited in a busy friday night, and we don't have prior appointment. We waited almost an hour to get seated. But wait worths. Variety of choices. My all time favourite, chicken green curry, the delicious refreshing spicy green papaya salad and classic fried noodles. Interior is amazing, very pleasant staff, welcoming attitude. Definitely i will visit again in my next London visit.
Very good floor management. Our waiter (French guy, I think is name is Aron) was very professional and looked after us very well. We had a small issue and the manager brilliantly twisted the situation and made us leave happy. Mistakes happen, but you need to have the ability to sort the situation and the manager had it. Also the food was very nice and improved a lot compared with few months ago. We definitely go back

Wonderful service from the staff across the board, delicious food and great atmosphere. Went with a bigger group (12) for a friends birthday and the order was perfect and even got some prawn crackers on the house! The birthday girl got many glasses of Prosecco on the house too!only thing I found was the music was a bit too loud was difficult to hear sometimes
Good vibe and food. But Hemex is critical to this wonderful evening. We faced some problem and he helped us to solved it with amazing attitude and service. Will come to here for Hemex again.
