📝: London born and bread, Burger & Lobster focuses on making these two products the absolute best they can to the world using only prime cut burgers and Atlantic lobsters.
❤️: Finally got to try the famous Original Lobster Roll and Burger here in London. Chilled, fresh lobster meat dressed in mayo and lemon, served alongside the creamy lemon and garlic butter in their signature buttery toasted brioche roll.
Best lobsters in town. we had the combo; burger and lobster with fries and salad. Great food and Friendly Staff. But it could get messy! So get ready to clean up after you finish!! Elie Abou Zeid
Good and satisfying lobster roll with french fries and a small salad, even better than ones I've got in Boston, and service is good. And they have Samuel Adams!first time i've happened to find it in London. But pricey, 20+service is a bit much for a roll sandwich.
Unique place and friendly staff. The waitress recommended the lobster roll with the added butter sauce and it was fantastic. Will definitely come.
That butter sauce is absolutely amazing. Just like the name, it's burgers and lobsters so leave your vegan friends at home so you can eat in peace. It can take a while to get a table at rush times, but it's so worth it. Yum!
Conveniently located in Harvey Nichols finish shopping and head up for a quick bite, service is quick, sandwiches are messy but are delicious, great for the kids.
Waw. Just loved the combo of cheeese ham and lobster! The sauce is sooo goood, so juicy and goood. Their fries and salad are yummy. Everything is super delicious.
A trip to Knightsbridge is not complete without a quick lunch stop at Burger and Lobster in Harvey Nichols. The original lobster brioche roll is worth going back for time and time again!
Honestly, I fell in love. I've never had such succulent, tender lobster.
It was a great experience. Service is super fast and friendly. I recommend the steamed lobster
Can't wait to go again 😍
Will always be one of my favorites !!! Your branch in Harvey Nichols, Knights bridge after a long day of walking in the buzzing city: London ...that's the best place to go to!!! Weather with friends or family ...this place just suits everyone ....and you can't leave hungry ...you're just going to be full !!!:-)))
I always order the Lobster ...💕
Heard there's a branch in Dubai ...but guess what I've never been to it ...not sure if it's going to be the same.
This restaurant is amazing! Burger or lobster is a brilliant idea, and in the case of my experience, the lobster was divine! Really delicious, and the sauce..perfect combination!
Everything about this place is nice.. Staff, food and ambiance.. I tried the burger, simple and yummy.. lobster roll is Super!!! Of course with the sauce that comes with it.. and finally the grilled lobster... next time I will try the steamed one :)
Looking at International restaurants with an Indian view and judging it from an Indian Price point is unfair.
It's hard to ignore when you go there as a tourist and are literally paying in Indian Rupees, but I'll try to be as neutral as possible.
This particular chain was suggested to me by a friend and we tried it.
The Menu was fairly simple the original or the big burger and or the lobster.
We went for the burger and it was a pretty average burger behind all the hype.
Maybe we made a mistake of asking for a well done but apart from the char the meat really had no flavor.
It was , i am assuming a simple marination of salt and pepper.
The meat by itself had great flavor.
Lovely salad and fries were also provided with the meal.
The place is pretty fancy looking and is part of a fancy food court area.
The staff were nice enough to explain the concept behind this place
Place is a hit or a miss.
I can't comment on the lobster , but the looked huge and juicy.
We went to the one at Knightsbridge, on a Saturday.. I know.. death wish! We went for the lobster bun and it tastes really really good. . The garlic butter is an excellent compliment to the lobster and it's a finger licking experience! However, the space was crowded and absolutely noisy which ended up rushing us to the finish line.. also, even though the food is good, i still think it's ridiculously expensive for the portion size.. but I am a Portuguese girl after all!
Great food, great price, great ambiance. What else can I say? Lobster is excellent!!!! Steamed or grilled! So many people from Asia are eating here
Always i heard about the restaurant i was killing for myself to try but unfortunately I had a bad experience at beginning i reached there earlier and the receptionist was rude with me , she the restaurant rule u should all here so i can give u a table she made wait outside i never expected that attitude from here
but the food was wise everything was just OK as was expecting
Such a simple concept that works so well! Tried the burger and the lobster roll and both were really tasty, but I would definitely just get the lobster roll next time! Our waiter wasn't the friendliest, but that's about the only negative I could find with our experience here. We'll definitely be back!
The best place in London to eat lobster without going to bankruptcy. We tried the whole lobster, one grilled and the the other steamed. The steamed option is definitely the best as the grilled one is not so tasty. Lemon and garlic butter is also the sauce to choose, very tasty in comparison with the other sauce available. We started our lunch very early, but we don't regret, few minutes later all tables were full. We didn't try the burger yet, but having it at the same price as lobster doesn't help our choice...
It's always good to have options when going to eat and here it's available in burger and lobster. The menu isn't big so you don't have to think to much on what you want to eat. Burger is good but not the best while the lobster roll is amazing must try.
Amazing place, great lobster roll.
The bread was so soft and really makes the roll amazing, the lobster as well is chunky and a great filling.
Do not forget to squeeze the lime and add the rush butter sauce on the side just makes the roll even better.
Lobster roll is love!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ Great food! Service is super quick. Fresh leaves salad with onions, Parmesan and Italian dressing is lovely!
Judging from my reviews, I think you know how much I love lobsters. I first tasted the Whole lobster and fries and of course it was good. Although I must say I prefer the lobster roll more than the whole lobster. The sauce that comes with the roll was good too.
The only negative thing I have to say, maybe it's a personal thing, but I don't like the fact that when you get a lobster roll, the lobster is cold and the bun is warm.
Otherwise, as always simple good food!!
Does exactly what it says on the tin! The beauty of this place is they import their lobsters from Nova Scotia, so they're much meatier than what you might usually find in Europe. I go for the lobster roll, the brioche roll it's served in is to die for. This place is always full, and it operates like a conveyor belt. Can't beat the food, but maybe not the best spot if you're looking for atmosphere. Good value if you go for lobster, although £20 is a bit steep for a burger.
Lobsters were delicious. I mean, they are specialized in them and really they are extremely good. Was perfectly grilled. The herb butter was fragrant. Chips were just fine. Delicious actually. Whole lobster, grilled. I mean what else could you ask for? Delicious.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. First time to dine in there and asking for menu turns out they only had two dishes which is the lobster bun and a whole lobsters. But apart from that the food was great and we all enjoy it.
Love this place!
The lobster roll is to die for! They give you so much lobster meat that it's worth the £20! Plus you get salad and fries on the side. I always come out of Burger & Lobster really full.
I've only actually tried the lobster roll here but my dad had the whole lobster and my sister the burger, and they both loved their choices.
Service is also great!
I definitely highly recommend!
A bit over hyped - at best, a mediocre lobster, however, a pretty decent burger. Nevertheless, there are better places for burgers and lobster.
Amazing.
I got the whole lobster grilled, and it was delicious. A tad dry, but I had been warned it would happen as grilling dries it out more than steaming it.
Still, I loved everything.
It came with a small salad and fries, and I still remember the salad as one of the most tastefully seasoned yet. The fries were good, crunchy and not greasy, and the sauce was on point.
I want to go back as soon as I go back to London, and I will order the exact same thing, but with steamed lobster instead.
One place that certainly gained a lot of attention last summer was Burger & Lobster a restaurant where they have gotten rid of the menu and just simply ask you if you would like a burger, lobster or a lobster roll. It's great to go somewhere and not have to trawl through the menu trying to decide what to have. It certainly is a simple concept but it really does seem to work and its nice to know what your in for. Now when it comes to burgers the most important things are that the beef is good quality, full of flavour and not dry, it was great that Burger & Lobster didn't disappoint to deliver a very good burger that lived up to my expectations. This place is far from fine dining but if your after a good burger I would highly recommend this place over other burger places. The service is fast which means you won't be there for long as it really is a fast pace place! I think for me the only thing that lets this place down is the chips. Fo
Some people (and lesser bloggers) would at times shout “location, location!” as if stringing two words, a comma and an exclamation mark is something that beings of higher intellect find difficult. What you could say, however, is that the prime location within Harvey Nichols ensures a high price and a good enough level of pretentiousness that means you have queues for hours. It was time for my lobster-cherry to pop, and so it did, together with joints and other various parts of the marine creature. I will admit – it’s quite fun trying to get the meat out. The ice teas were quite delicious; yet the rest of the food lacked that special aspect that the tea had. Sure, it was just a lobster and I’m guessing not much can be done about it. The french fries were cooked well, the salad was nice, and the lobster, well, was a lobster. And it didn’t move so can’t really bitch about it, right? Despite not being a very big fan of seafood, I would recommend that everyone try this once in their life. H
Okay. This is one of my favourite burger restaurants in london. Just have to go. 3 options. Order one of each between the two of us and share. Its shocking how good the lobster is. The biggest decision to make is what tot drink! IPA for me. This was my first time at the Knightsbridge one. And I liked the space a lot. It's bigger than Mayfair and feels more spacey.
Burger & Lobster is the best place to spend your £20 on a meal! I went to Burger & Lobster in Harvey Nichols to avoid the crazy waiting list on other branches like in Soho so I decided to go here even though I still need to wait for 15 minutes until the table is ready.
Basically Burger & Lobster only serves 3 menu, a burger, lobster roll or a whole lobster. I wanted to try their whole lobster on my visit but sadly it was kinda out of stock at the moment and I have to wait another 30 minutes if I still want the lobster. Since it was a pretty late dinner so I chose the lobster roll instead. The lobster roll came with fries and salad, both are standard. The lobster roll itself was amazing even though the hotdog bun was very filling. In general the lobster was fresh and great. The service here also great but since Burger & Lobster is always busy, patience is a must.
I'd definitely go back here again because I ain't afraid of cholesterol!
Came here because everyone keeps going on about how great it is. As others have said it's either burger or lobster here, though we were told if we wanted to have a bit of both then we would have to share each others. The service we had wasn't brilliant to say the least and don't feel we got the full experience as our waitress couldn't be bothered with us at all.
The waiter accross from us was really friendly so it must have just been a bad day for ours.
Saying that the food came fast and was amazing, I struggled to eat the whole burger but it tasted great. £20 is a bit steep for a burger but it's worth it for the lobster.
Definitely must try out a burger n lobster food is amazing!
Went to burger and lobster because of all the hype about it and everyone saying great things.
It didn't disappoint food was amazing I had the lobster and tried some of my girlfriends burger and that was amazing too.
Overall a great experience food came quick, the waitress we had could of been a bit more friendly but that didn't ruin the experience.
Very tasty lobster taste fresh and delicious dipping. Don't forget also the burger with melted cheese. I fly 7 hours to taste it and really it worth.
There isn’t a menu here, you have the clear choice of a beef burger or lobster which you can choose to have steamed, grilled or in a roll. I have had the lobster, both grilled and in a roll. I was satisfied with both but may prefer the roll, just because it’s easier to eat.
The layout is very simple with dark wooden tables and chairs. It has quite low lighting, which I find appealing and almost gives the place a slightly rustic look.
I am not pleased with the service has it has always been slow for me.
Last time I waited 25 minutes just to get the bill and then and extra 15 minutes just to pay. They were not even that busy, I felt that the staff were just walking around and trying to ignore us.
By far I haven't tried a lobster as good as their's. It was fantastically cooked, well seasoned and garnished. By going through the other reviews I'm presuming that the service provided to everyone has been good by far. I thoroughly recommend the lobsters. They are finger licking good. I am very impressed.
Many people go by the location of the place alone . All that is ensured by a good location is high prices and a flashy decor which might not suit everyone's taste . I'd rather go to a nice place , with some nice food , even if the decor is a little underwhelming .
A great concept wherein they do not have a menu. Instead they just ask customers about their preference between lobsters, burgers or a lobster roll. In my opinion a brilliant idea, where in one does not have to skim though complicate menus trying to decide. A great place to eat at!
Definitely my favourite Burger and Lobster branch in London. The Harvey Nichols branch is usually much less cramped than the one in Soho for example, and it may just be my biased opinion but I feel like their lobsters are more fresh as well. I just like the whole atmosphere here better, a lot more spacious.
This restaurant is without a doubt very popular in London with their simple menu, high standard food, and great consistency, greatly reaching the standards on what people look for in a restaurant.
I always get the streamed lobster with the side salad and chips. Not had any complaints, the quality and taste is always consistently at a high standard. However, If great burgers is the only reason you are eating at burger and lobster I think you should look elsewhere as I feel like their are better burgers elsewhere.Nevertheless, I come here over and over again and would definitely continue to do so.
If there is one restaurant you need to visit, it is definitely Burger & Lobster.
The menu is simple it's either you choose burger or lobster, which means you won't waste your time on deciding on what to eat. I ordered the Lobster and it was delicious, even the salad was scrumptious. For £20 per person, it is well worth the price.
Food: is it the best burger I have ever had? No is it the best lobster I have ever had? No. But it ticks the basic boxes of a good and satisfying meal. You will have the choice between a burger, a lobster, or lobster in a bun. So unless you like either of those look for another place. But if you do go, enjoy!
Seating/Atmosphere: nothing exceptional - there are different locations too so depends where you go. Also service tends to be quick.
Location: depends which one you end up going to.
Bon appetit!
It was not that long ago, when on my way back home on Fridays I used to stop by B&L Mayfair branch to put my name on the waiting list. I had enough time to go back home, change and have a pre drink before the table was ready… No surprise that within 2 years B&L created 5 other branches around London.
As you might have already guessed, B&L, serves only two dishes – burger and lobster. Does not matter what you go for, the price is £20. Quite a good deal for the delicious lobster!

I had an impromptu visit with a friend one afternoon after hearing good things about this place, and we weren't disappointed!
I ordered a grilled lobster which came with a tiny bucket of fries, a yummy salad and this gorgeous 'herby-garlicky' dressing which complemented the lobster really well, all for £20 you say? Bargain!
The service was fast, attentive and friendly. Despite being in Harvey Nichols, the restaurant was secluded and cosy and didn't feel like being in the middle of a department store at all.
The dining experience was fun, the vibe was chilled... and all of this while sporting a novelty plastic bib!
Good lobster , quick service , smiley waiters and easy menu
Server was lovely. Cocktail was delicious. Lobster was a little underwhelming on its on and the butter sauce makes this meal. I think the lobster roll is much nicer and have had it several times but wanted to try the lobster. I upgraded to the chunky truffle fries which were deliciously crispy. Overall I’d come back but probably get the roll or try some of the sides.
Exceptional experience at Lobster and Burger! Celebrated my mum's birthday here and it was unforgettable. Charles, our waiter, delivered top-notch service, going above and beyond to make the occasion extra special. The food was exquisite, setting a high standard for dining. Highly recommend for those special moments. A big thank you to the team! And special thanks to Charles!! Thanks for the complimentary cake!! Love it will definitely come back again!!
Excellent service, the staff are very friendly and happy to help. We had gone around 5pm and we're pleasantly surprised they had a happy hour so the drinks worked out very reasonable, nice cocktails.
The food was great, we had the combo: the lobster was cooked well, the sauces want really well with it. The lobster roll was excellent no wonder everyone seemed to order it. The burger was good, nothing special and fries just usual.
The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of Harvey Nichols store so if you aren't aware might struggle to find it as it doesn't state on their website.
Overall a great place with very nice atmosphere, probably best to go during happy hour think it's 4-6pm.
Good place for lunch. Not so many people, no queue in the lunch time.
10/10 Grilled and Steamed Lobster
10/10 Lobster Rolls
10/10 Fried Potatoes
3/10 Beef Burger.. To dry like eating tasteless paper
80£ for set of 1 whole lobster + 1 lobster rolls + 1 beef burger + fried potatoes +salad for 2 people.
3£ extra for the Singapore spicy sauce without notice.
8/10 for service.. nice staff but very slow service
Overall, nice experience.
Wagyu burger was perfectly cooked the way I asked, medium well. The quality of the meat was very good. However, it wasn't seasoned enough.
It needed salt.
Our table didn't have salt and pepper.
Lobster roll was very good,, the sauce was soon good.
The spinach which came with the burger wasn't prepared well. It had its stems & it was very difficult to eat.
Mac and cheese was below average
The food was amazing and they gave us such an experience for our shared birthday celebration! They sang for us and it was amazing! Loved the burgers so much! But took them a while to make drinks and we asked a lot of times before we got them!
Food was great, but the prices have become too expensive for the lobster! But our waitress was amazing and attentive! Thank you!
I had a wonderful dining experience at Burger and Lobster in Harvey Nichols. The hospitality of the managers, Chittagong, Mike, and Nadia, truly stood out as they were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was exceptional, with the lobster roll being a highlight - perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The Wagyu burger was also a delightful choice, delivering a delicious and satisfying taste. The combination of fantastic food and excellent service made for a memorable visit that I can't wait to repeat.
Very good place; oyster, lobster, chicken and burgers are delicious. The only place needs some improvement is the fries, fries are too small…
Charles was amazing! The food was great and the Pistol Punch is one of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back!
Lubi was a brilliant server, attentive without being intrusive. Grilled lobster was excellent; lobster roll was ok (better with some pepper on)
Will come again
Very friendly and welcoming front of house staff, especially the guy who takes your order. The staff are very helpful and nice. The seafood feast was really good and was a huge serving. However for the wagyu burger set- it was clinging on to average. The beef itself was nice and rich. However as an overall dish, when served with raclette cheese, truffle chips and watercress- altogether the taste/ experience felt a bit “tiring to finish” or will give you jadedness when eating a meal so rich as this. To be fair the staff did mention its a rich dish, but just the same I didn’t expect it would be at a level that is not enjoyable anymore (as why create a dish like that on purpose). Overall would consider coming back especially for the seafood, but I dont recommend the wagyu burger.
One of the most recognisable lobster chains originated from Mayfair London that is now all over the world in New York, Dubai, Bangkok, Malaysia, Kuwait and Singapore.
I love the Knightsbridge shop as it is one of the only two outside the London Congestion Charge Zone (the other is in the West India Quay in Canary Wharf). If you can't choose between lobster, burger or roll, go for the Combo for Two that is ideal for a couple or a young family of 2 adults and 1 young child. You get a lobster, a burger and a roll plus two portions of chips and salad.
It was really great experience I really enjoyed the food and the services
Just a note nothing refer that the restaurant in this building or it’s in 5th floor so you need to ask someone to reach the place.
Great dining experience overall! The food is tasty and fresh, the members of staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable for the entire visit. The grilled lobster is absolutely delicious and you should definitely order it! We will definitely return!
I have been few times here good atmosphere, food and excellent service from Oliver.
He was very helpful and professional and he did great job.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Exceptional service from Benjamin our waiter, delivered top-notch service, going above and beyond to make the service extra special. The food was great the kids loved it! Highly recommend for family dining. A big thank you to the team! And special thanks to Benjamin! Thanks for the complimentary ice cream!! It was fantastic, my daughters had a wonderful time will definitely come back again!!
