We went to this restaurant for Sunday dinner. It wasn't busy, so the service was quick. The waiter was very kind. We ordered garlic bread, pepperoni pizza and quattro formaggi. The dough was thin. Overally the dishes were tasty. After we finished the meal the waiter offerd some ice cream to my daughter. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. I recommend it!
Had an amazing time with delicious food. We had chicken wings, lamb chops and salad. Everything was super fresh and soothing. Homemade tiramisu is highlight of the dinner and worth coming back to.
I had visited The House four years before and I wasn't disappointed on this occasion either. By coincidence they had a keyboard player that evening, who just added to the atmosphere. It was a brilliant evening and I haven't even said anything about the food yet. And yes, it was excellent. I should start taking photos. It's good to have a bank of good restaurants to go to, when you don't want to be cooking.
Absolutely fantastic. Service impeccable, amazing decor and wonderful food. Myself and my boyfriend were treated so kindly. We had never been before, but we will definitely be back!
I came here as a group of eight on a busy Saturday night. Every table was reserved (so definitely book in advance for a Saturday night). The service was good and friendly, and we all enjoyed the food. We sampled a variety of menu items (meat, fish, pasta, pizza) and were all happy with our choices. The restaurant has options for vegans and vegetarians too.

Wonderful place to eat, easily my favourite restaurant in Finchley — I've been here at least 4 times in the past year. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Came here after living in Finchley for 18 months and was by far the best meal we have had in the area. Great atmosphere and the food was incredible - had Shepherd’s Pie and Chicken Risotto!
The night before running the London marathon we were searching for a calm location with excellent pasta. We were delighted to have found The House Restaurant. Adel took our order (she said my pasta with tuna was her favorite) and the plates came out quickly. All eight of us were quite pleased with the flavors and presentation. Service was friendly and helpful, with just the right amount of attentiveness to anticipate a request without becoming intrusive. We were so pleased to have found this gem of high quality food and service. Oh, and the marathon was a total success, too.

Great place with very nice atmosphere. We had a Saturday dinner accompanied by piano player with my wife and our 1y old baby. It was a big pleasure to enjoy both good food and lovely music. Thanks a lot for a home atmosphere and I wish this place all the best!
A lovely find on a quiet Saturday afternoon .Beni was really welcoming and we tucked into a shared starter including bruschetta,perfectly seasoned chickenwings and halloumi followed by seafood spaghetti and chicken and mushroom penne -the food was sublime and washed down with a couple of glasses of house red
Would highly recommend and would be back for sure when we are next in the area

Wirh a friend and his friends for a birthday party - they handled the numbers very well keeping up the cooking standards Tiramisu was excellent as always!
A hidden gem, hidden behind the bus stop! Friendly staff great food!! Still open for takeaways in the lockdowns great food and house red wine is an excellent addition !! Now Serving on a few tables at the front terrace.
