I was looking for somewhere to eat before watching Girl from the North Country at the Noel Coward theatre. Luckily being very central there are no shortage of options. And since the lines and security are minimal, it really means you can take your time dining beforehand. Com Viet was just around the corner (with Amorino gelato opposite FYI).

Comforting bowl of pho with huge portion. Could not finish them all at the end. The broth was very aromatic and delicious. The meat was tender. The noodle was perfect. Really heart warming soup.

I came here alone as a pre-theater meal, and this place did not disappoint. Lighting inside is a bit dim, but the staff is really nice and the menu itself has a couple of nice things offered.

I ordered the bun with pork, which I really enjoyed. There was a generous serving of pork; doesn't happen too often, so I'm happy when it does. There was a lot of everything else, too, which tasted lovely when all mixed together with the nuoc nam sauce. Walked out feeling really full, and also very healthy. Was tempted to get ice cream afterwards, but didn't.

While restaurant hunting, we came across this gem of a Vietnamese cuisine. A cozy place to be with some good food. Could not get enough of it. It was my last supper with my colleagues before I departed for vacations. We tried out couple of dishes form the menu and they were all amazing. One thing that caught my attention was the shaking beef. it was really shaking, a must try. Summer rolls and spring rolls was really yummy too. And no Vietnamese meal is complete without the Saigon beer. Pretty cheap for the location they are in and great service. Def Recommend

First impressions was good, relaxed and cozy. The food had a clean palette as it was my first in having Vietnamese food. A good stop for dinner before theatre.

Excellent Vietnamese Restaurant. Had the lunch special (Sun-Mon £9 pounds for starter & main incl. drink). Extremely good value & very authentic dishes. Without a doubt the best Vietnamese food I've had in London & the closest to my favourites in Melbourne. Very friendly efficient staff as well. Definitely worth a try.

We went to Com Viet because we were looking for a quick meal in the Covent Garden / Leicester Square area and were thrilled to find this little hidden gem of a place.  We loved the simple dinner we had at Com Viet and hope to be back if we are in the neighborhood again. Com Viet seems like a very small restaurant – there are only 12 seats on the ground floor, but the basement can accommodate almost 80 people apparently.   There were just a couple of other diners on the ground floor.  The menu at Com Viet has limited options for vegetarians. Com Viet prides itself on serving fresh and authentic Vietnamese food and we felt the same as well.

I had the tastiest charcoaled spare ribs here... I could eat those forever! I loved the atmosphere, the service was great and it was very affordable!

Com Viet is a deceptive little devil in the Covent Garden food scene. From the outside the restaurant appears rather a small player, occupying a tiny space that even a corner shop would struggle to fit into. Four tables at most squeeze into the area. But upon entering we are taken down a spiral staircase that opens out into a much larger dining space. We are seated in an alcove and the sun, still shining outside, plays tricks with the small glass tiles set above our heads - we are literally under the pavement, though you'd never know if you didn't look up. It is quiet down here, and it feels as though we've stumbled upon a secret.

My frog's legs are fussy, but tender and a little sweet. The mains arrive and everything looks wonderful. The pho isn't very popular, but I dive into my marinated chicken happily. Though the portion seems small to the eye, it doesn't seem to diminish as I dig through it. When I finally finish I am not quite full, but nearing it. I had hoped for something similar to a dish I had recently taken to cooking at home, but in this case my own take on the dish proved far richer and much more tasty. Service is slow, and dishes arrive unintentionally scattered. The bill takes longer still to arrive. It is not an outstanding experience, but the escape from busy London above makes a return visit inevitable.

Lovely small restaurant in Central London. Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff. Two floors: ground and underground. Food was delicious. Phò is a must try! Also had fried salt and pepper squid as starter. Tea was natural and well brewed. Would gladly come back.

Food was excellent! Service could be be improved. Asked the waiter some simple questions and he gave unclear answers. That said, they were kind and considerate.

Visited twice for dinner over the last year - both times the food and service were very good. The food is authentic Vietnamese with the pork belly stew, banh xeo and bun cha being as good as I have had in Vietnam. Service is quick and friendly and the restaurant is bigger than it looks as it has a downstairs area not visible from the street.

Went here for pho, bbq pork loin vermicelli and bahn xeo (yellow pancake). Food was quickly served and delicious despite being very close to closing time. Also took some extra spring roll because they were mouthwatering! Maybe too much food for a dinner for two, but worth it to the last bit!

Amazing experience overall! The restuarant is located in a busy area of Covent Garden and it’s pretty easy to get there. The service was very nice and the staff was super friendly. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, summer rolls, and Vietnamese pancake for starters and would highly recommend all 3 particularly the pancake and vegetable spring rolls. For the main, I had the classic pho with chicken which was absolutely amazing and very comforting! Excited to go back for this. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Ox cheek phô is quite nice, the soup is good, the cheek’s tasty. I find the ox cheek is cooked like braised flank, I guess both of them being cooked for a long while that makes the taste similar. I haven’t had braised beef for a long time so it’s difficult to tell the difference. Nevertheless, I’m much enjoy the well cooked phô. The thing is the soup is in a no more and no less taste, not to thick and not too thin, close to the ones I had in Vietnam.

The food here is incredible, one of my favourite vietnamese places in London! Its always bustling and has seating downstairs too. The bun bo hue here is fantastic and the chilli salt and pepper squid is also a must! Highly recommend!

It’s really hard to find a good pho place in central London but this place was decent. I had pho here and I liked the broth (I read in other reviews that some people found it salty but for me the salt level was good and I liked the taste) but the meat was a bit tough that’s why I gave four star for the food. Our waiter was really friendly and gave us a really good vibe.

It consists of a ground floor and a basement floor. There were more seats on the first basement floor than I thought. I didn't know I could make a reservation, but I will definitely make a reservation by phone next time I visit. I was able to wait 30 minutes to enter the store, and the moment I ate the food, I could forget all the time I had been waiting for. It's hard to eat while satisfying all the food, but it's possible here. All foods are fresh, delicious, and full. It's one of the restaurants I really enjoyed in UK. I will say this place if someone recommends a restaurant from now on.

I had a delicious lunch here. I had the biggest craving for Vietnamese food and it hit the spot. I had the Prawn Bun Sa and it was amazing. The perfect temperature and full of flavor. The spring rolls were also so good. I will definitely be retuning!

This was a great Pho for the cold weather. it's delicious and the staff is friendly. The wider seating is in the basement and the atmosphere is dark. We were all satisfied, but the bill already included a service charge of over 10%. I'm deducting one star for the fact that guests can't choose and have to pay it.

Great food, service and atmosphere! However I do think the food is on the expensive side which is why I’ve given it 4 stars. We paid over £8 for a starter portion of 4 small summer rolls, and a soft drink cost £5.95 which we thought was extortionate to be honest.

Such a great find! They have so many options for vegans too, which my husband enjoyed. The food was so tasty and came so quickly - we were there for dinner before a visit to the theatre to see Lion King and we were done within an hour. So happy with this restaurant, will be back!

Delicious and fresh Vietnamese food. Is so relaxed and welcoming inside. I love sitting upstairs and watching the world go by. Is perfect for a break while walking all around Central London. Mainly on a chilly day is a perfect stop to warm up and enjoy delicious food.

Great little Vietnamese restaurant near Covent Garden. Only about 6-10 tables upstairs but I believe there’s a downstairs too. Bustling at lunch and great for a light meal. They have a set lunch menu that’s great value and offers a wide range of options. Noodle dishes look good. Summer rolls and spring rolls are both great starter options. I had the “shaking” chicken (because of the way it’s good, the pan is always shaking!), which was tasty with perfectly cooked sticky rice. The pho is worth a try as are the noodle dishes, which I hope to return for. Good selection of soft drinks and Coca Cola serviced in a cold glass bottle with a glass and ice. Refreshing on a hot day! Service is fast and friendly.

It’s quite nice of the experience, including food varieties and taste, price and customer service!!! Tried their Spicy Pho, it’s quite nice 😊

Small portions, £5 for a bowl of mediocre rice. Mostly tasty, but the clay dish was more like fish soup; it should’ve been a viscous sauce, but to achieve that would take an hour of simmering. Meh, SEN is better.
