Probably one of the better fish/seafood restaurants in Central London. I'm not fussed about price if the food is worth it, but the value for money is simply not seen here. They have fantastic pieces of fresh fish and the restaurant tucked away behind the shop front is like a little hidden gem. Feels like it's the only option for a good fish/seafood dining experience is the area, but as a South African whose used to the freshest fish if doesn't totally hit the spot.

I often meet my Dad somewhere along Marylebone High Street for food or drinks when we’re due a catch up. It’s the perfect spot for us all to meet (brother and husband included) and there is always a new place for us to try. We used to live very close by to the High Street when I was rather wee, but lots has changed since then so we’re re-aquatinting ourselves with the offerings. We have walked past the FishWorks so many times and I know it’s somewhere my Dad was dying to try. So, when it was his birthday a few weeks ago I know straight away where we were going to take him!

The best seafood in town. As soon as you enter the restaurant, the fish market is on your left hand side. I had fish & chips & the fish soup 😋😋😋

I have family down in Brighton/Eastbourne, and the chippy there is always rather brilliant. Fried skate by the sea, salt in your hair, it's always the perfect seaside holiday. Eastbourne may have its huge group of geriatrics, but they sure are more cheerf

Fish Works is a great venue to spend your evening or just to get some fresh fish for take away!
Located in the Marylebone High Street and close to Regents Park Tube station, this venue gaves you the real taste of Mediterranean, British, Sea Food.
We went there for a late dinner and I remember that I started with Brixham fish soup with Gruyère crouton and rouille and ordered as a main the Roasted sea bass with rosemary, served on or off the bone, with lemon and olive oil! Stayed impressed with the amazing atmosphere and the delious meals we had! Great place to visit!

Delicious Seafood Extravaganza!

Fishworks is right on Marylebone High Street so a brilliant location. At the front of the restaurant is a Fishmongers so your first impression is that the fish is going to be very fresh. The menu is extensive and features old favourites as well as more contemporary dishes. There  are also daily specials which looked very tasty although by the time we arrived (9pm on a Sunday night) two of them had run out. We chose the prawn cocktail with Bloody Mary sauce & Hixham crab to start - both delicious and decent sized portions before continuing with Fish & Chips and the Fruits de Mer platter. (NB It was also good to be able to order a Fruits de Mer platter for one person rather than 2 which is so often the case.)The wine list also features a good selection - with both reasonable priced wines and more extravagant fine wines.

Overall a great evening and we will be back (again).

Some of the best sea-food I have had. The fish is very fresh especially since a lot of it is locally sourced in the UK. The dishes are a mixture of British and continental and done to the highest standard. The restaurant has a menu of daily specials which are generally plucked from the fresh catch of the day, we tried these and thought they were very good indeed.

It is easy to walk past this place on the high street as the shop front is actually a fishmongers and the restaurant entrance is actually from the back wall of the fish mongers. What I thought was also very cool about the place is that instead of ordering off the menu one can pick something from the fish mongers that you fancy and ask them to have that cooked as well. So a lot of fresh options !

The location is of course quite convenient as well, situated right in the middle of marylebone high street. Certainly a place to go every now and then for a top notch seafood meal.

Nice place to stop and have something to eat. If you like seafood, definitely recommend. We were able to walk into this branch Saturday, no reservation around 7pm. Food is presented nicely, fish is cooked well... am just not blown away by the flavours (might be down to the menu option i chose) but im not complaining either. I had a whole dover sole and my bf had the seared yellowfin tuna. The fries are a must also! Would happily eat here again. Think it's fairly well priced too.

FishWorks is a great place to drop by for a few oysters in the middle of Marylebone. It’s unassuming and you can have a selection of different oyster varieties. Not bad and not too expensive for a Central London location!

I've been craving seafood for so long. This restaurant really satisfied my craving. The place has such a relaxing ambience. The staff were great as they were friendly. The food we ordered was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here again to try other things on the menu. Everything was cooked to perfection

This fish restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and great options to chose from. I came here several times and the quality of the food was always excellent. The staff is welcoming. Please note that you can have a quite dinner around 18 to 19/19:30 after this the place can become quite loud as it is small.

Was here in April on a weekday. Had their set lunch. Good food. Didn't like the grilled tuna very much as we too dry. We spent around GBP85 for the 2 of us. This included 2x set lunches for GBP25 each, and extra payment for selecting the scallops and the tuna as part of the set lunch, and also we added some potatoes as sides. Very filling. Probably shouldn't have ordered the potatoes

Came here for a business lunch. I had a whole lobster with garlic butter and it was quite nice. I wouldn’t say it is absolutely special compared to other lobster dishes I’ve had in other places, but generally lobsters are great anyway. The brownie was light and airy, and the pistachio ice cream was good.

This place is perfect for fish because they have the fish monger in the front and the restaurant in the back. They both offer great service. The restaurant also serves specials that change daily depending on the fish that came in that day. They cook their dishes in a very simple manner so you can enjoy the quality of the fish. They’re dessert was also really good. Highly recommend the apple and raspberry with custard.

I take advantage of the weekday lunch specials as they offer great value for money. The fish is fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and fast. And usually there are lot of happy customers. They also have a fishmongers in the front so you can always take some fresh fish home.

Loved the bouillabaisse!! The mussels and fish were perfect, matched with the sourdough toast 💯💯 Ordered the Christmas set: The Devon fish was good but the bones were left in (annoying 🙄); King Scallop starter was okay too, came with chorizo and tomato based sauce and rockett, tbh not too fond of the chorizo but love the veg; dessert was chocolate orange panna cotta, nice but not my fav flavour combo in general. Vibes were great, slow service - prob because following fine dining style.

We stopped in for lunch on our first day in London. We were a little concerned when we first arrived because the place was empty. I’m gland we stayed because the food was great, the wine was reasonably priced and the service was wonderful. By the time we left there wasn’t an empty seat in the restaurant. The seafood is fresh and you can choose the fish you want from that days catch which is displayed on ice at the front of the store.

Scallops of the day is very delicious. I like the sweet taste of scallops that contrast with garlic butter taste. When squeezing a little lemon juice on top, the combination is amazing. The texture of soft scallops and crispy crumble also make variety of touch and very enjoyable to eat. Overall, the food needs to be waited for a little long time. However, there are plenty of freshness and good seafood here!
