It is a really nice spot for having a beer and some food. The environment is also quite nice to chill in the evening. The fish and chips are amazing, same as other snacks.
Nice place to eat in London! In the heart of the theater mile where many musicals take place, on the corner you will find "the Wellington". Below the pub is the restaurant. Although we didn't reserve in advance, the friendly waitress tried to find us a table. The enterieur is inviting and the food e
My two friends & I had drinks & food here in July.
The service & atmosphere was great. Found the staff so friendly, they were able to provide recommendations from the menu. One of our party was a vegetarian & she was happy with the choice available to her.
The music in the bar was fantastic & ther
Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Fantastic experience. Also had the chicken mushroom pie which was also amazing
The Wellington offers not only the best fish and chips I ever had but also a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for both locals and tourists!
Really beautiful fish and chips here. Must try. Friendly staff beautiful old pub atmosphere. Enjoyed it.
Excellent fish and chips and pie. We had the steak and ale pie this time but will try others next time we are in the area.
The fish was perfectly crispy and the tartar sauce was proper.
We found ourselves at the Wellington after wandering over from Covent Garden and having a look around the area. We were seeing the Lion King at the Lyceum later that evening so it was nice to get our bearings.
We popped in and grabbed a table in the bar (we completely missed the sign for the dining
Beautiful pub. Amazing fish and chips. Great beer selection.
Thank you Wellington Pub for looking after us at lunchtime 😋
Scrumptious fish 'n' chips (I know, on a Tuesday!) - proper chips and the fish batter was well-cooked and soft.
That said, the ham, egg and chips, as well as the chicken salads were decent sized portions and enjoyed by all.
Hope to be a
Beautiful decor and friendly service. Roast beef was a bit chewy as was the Yorkshire pudding. Fish and chips were very good.
Good, atmospheric traditional pub between Covent Garden and Waterloo Bridge. Solid range of well-kept cask ales, friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable seating inside and outside (partly covered). Good place for meeting friends, as it's not excessively loud. Cask ales include the very fine Orkney

We visited a few weeks ago on a trip to the theatre. Very professional service. Lovely waitress. Lovely food. I had a vegetarian cottage pie which was lovely. Everyone had something different. Food arrived together and everyone enjoyed their meals. Thanks for completing our lovely day. Recommend
Loved this place, great menu, good food. I recommend going up the stairs to the Dukes dining room, it's really lovely, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Wish I had time to have some pudding, the menu looks particularly delicious.
Very yummy food here, our first choice was a fish platter but sadly it wasn't available, no worries but we got our second choice of chicken schnitzel and a chicken and mushroom pie, Both absolutely delicious! Great service and meals came very quickly even though it was packed out! Disabled friendly,
Nice little corner pub with a dining hall at the first floor. We came to have some Traditional English pie on a rainy day.
After we were seated and served, we were pretty much left to our own devices and had to holler twice for a waitress to even notice us.
Otherthan that, the food was good.
