Shackfuyu - London - Photo album

Good food, good sake, good vibes. Friendly service. Sadly we can't have the table for long, but that's fine cos others need to be able to enjoy this establishment. We had most of the items on the Izakaya section of the menu. The pulled lamb, scallops, beef tataki were the stars. Their Shack-fuyu sa
The food was amazing, everything we had was delicious although like everyone else I’d recommend the French toast. The Service unfortunately did let the score down. It was busy but all of the servers were incredibly grumpy and when we asked for advice could barely be bothered to talk to us. It didn’t
We been on Sunday for brunch and we really enjoyed. Nice atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. 45 pound each for bloody Mary and arrival, selection of starters, one main and a dessert plus flow of prosecco. Good quality and good price. Recommend
Rainy London afternoon for a late lunch. Not crowded - I love this. Our waiter was both entertaining and efficient. We both chose the express lunch. I had Korean chicken wings, salmon and the famous French toast for dessert. If you’re in a hurry, you get hot, delicious food quickly. The chicken wi
I visited Shack fuyu as it seemed quite popular. However it didn’t meet the expectations. First of all the waiter seemed quite strict as we ordered, and he prompt us to not add another plate saying it was a lot and doing the characteristic movement of “cut👋🏼” and actually remove one more. Thankfully
Recommended! Must haves include their wings and French toast! Service was fast and speedy, Kudos to the staff as we were in a big group! Atmosphere was nice - it's centrally located and lots of other customers also enjoying their meal. They have a theatre menu too that we've had before - convenient
We came here just for dessert but we will definitely be back for dinner or lunch one day. The French toast with match ice cream is sublime, I would definitely recommend coming to try it. We came again and got the prawn Sando too which was lovely and crunchy. It is a shame that the restaurant is supe
Fun atmosphere, good food and patient service. If you’re in Soho and looking for good eats try Shack-Fuyu Soho. You can share small plates or have a large plate all to yourself either way they won’t disappoint. If you have a large party be sure to call ahead it’s a small space.
Great Japanese inspired restaurant. Food is fresh and service fast. We had theater afterwards and it was perfect with plenty of time left. The stone rice is amazing. Well worth a visit!
Nice place to catch a meal in between theatre shows. Nice ambience, service staff were friendly and efficient. French toast was quite expensive but indeed tastes different from other French toasts. Worth a try!
Decent food in general. The edamame was surprisingly very nice - we tried the one with BBQ chilli and I would highly recommend trying it. I ordered the chicken katsu sando which was very nice (sorry forgot to take the photo) Squid and chicken wings were fine. The dessert was fine and would have pref
We recently visited Shack-Fuyu, part of the Bone Daddies group. It has a good selection of small and large plates and a fantastic selection of sakes. The food is quite delicious and reasonably priced for a Central London restaurant. The service was good too. Definitely a great option if you're looki
I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding. They take Asian fusion to another level without compromising on quality. My favourite dish here is the Kinako French toast with matcha ice-cream, there have been several occasions where I’ve had dinner with friends nearb
Outstanding food. Service was fast (though too fast at one point when my cocktail was spilled over the table and I wasn't offered another one!) and the express pre theatre menu gave us plenty of time to eat. French toast was to die for and every dish was perfect. Highly recommend.
Food was good, service was great, tables - as always packed in like sardines and I really hate that The service was very lovely, and the food came extremely promptly. But. The ceviche was not like really Peruvian ceviche… which was a real let down.
Our waiter was truly wonderful, very attentive and made sure we were okay for the whole night. We had the Bao buns and wings to start - absolutely glorious. The food is so fresh and flavourful. We then had the rabbit curry which we weren’t that impressed with but everything was good quality. Obvious
Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Finally adding my own review after my most recent visit where I noticed that everyone else is sadly now catching on to how good it is and it's no longer my own secret spot - gutted! No better place for brunch in Soho
