In love with all the different varieties of cake they offer. Always so freshly baked and served at the best quality and prices with the help of a really nice and friendly staff as well. Highly recommended to all cake lovers.
Fantastic cakes bespoke design service, not your usual sugar-loaded nonsense you get in high-street bakeries. The team will break their back to deliver. Will be back for next BD party.

For Christmas, Mr Man and I were given a voucher for afternoon tea at Cake Boy. I’d heard great reviews so was really looking forward to going.
Eric Lanlard is a famous ‘Master Patissier’ and has won ‘Continental Patissier of the Year’ twice at the British Baking Awards. He’s also been on loads of TV shows along with publishing a few books. We didn’t know this before going so when we got home I realised why my sister in law picked this place. It was great!
It was super cold outside that day so I have no pictures of the outside but it’s just West along the river from Battersea Park and the walk there, if you were coming from there in Spring/Summer would be really lovely (on the day we walked the quickest route possible as it was minus two outside so went through a series of housing estates from Clapham Junction).
So we burrowed in and were treated to champagne, great sandwiches (we would have been happy with these alone) and a very outstanding selection of cakes. I’ll be honest with you – I don’t actually know what the voucher is worth so I can’t quote costs here but we felt like we had a rather good deal with a lovely afternoon munching away on sandwiches which included Parma ham, smoked salmon and chicken fillings, then cakes which included a phenomenal lemon tart, some chocolate creations, plenty of macaroons, crème brulee and eclairs.
They had some muffins in the cafe – if I were to return and was purely in the mood for a coffee and a piece of cake then I would have happily devoured one of these.
If I lived West I’d definitely be a regular here. The lemon tart was one of the best I’ve ever had and even Mr Man loved the macaroons. We were also intrigued by their classes which have a max of eight participants and seem to really how to teach you how to make good proper cake by Mr Lanlard himself. One to watch I say!
We did the mini chocolate experience and we had a brilliant morning! The class was very fun and insightful.
The afternoon tea which followed was one of the best afternoon teas I have ever had, with the hummus sandwich and salted caramel eclair being the stars of the show. Thanks!
Class booked for me as a birthday present, it was great fun and we were well looked after, delicious cakes to finish! Would definitely recommend!

Four of us came for a French baking day, making a Gateaux Breton, a Tarte Tatin, and a Loaf cake. We all had a fantastic day and found Eric to be a very patient, helpful, and thoroughly entertaining host. We all went home with beautiful looking bakes which we will be eating for the foreseeable future. Would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a baking workshop.
Light moist delicious cupcakes and refreshing tea. Staff are very accomadating and polite. well worth a visit. The covid counter measures are also on point.
Good coffee and great cake. Cosy little place next to the river, although it can get very busy in the weekend and it's not that big.

We recently had vegan afternoon tea here which was a delightful treat with excellent attentive service and such pretty surroundings. The food was totally delicious. We could not manage all the cakes and so the staff provided us with a doggy box to take home. I have also just popped in for the odd smoothie or tea from time to time and always be a good experience. Would recommend fully and will go again!
Very nice sandwiches; great-tasting ingredients & bread. They come with free coffee & side salad too. The best lunch option around here by far!

Really lively almost psychedelic retro style decor with its colourful atmosphere. The cakes are enjoyable and uniquely different. I went there with a 2 month old baby and a friend. The comfortable seats were booked out for afternoon tea so we sat on the tall stools be the windows. I wouldn't say it is designed to be baby and buggy friendly, there are other places for that, but it was still a pleasant hour which is all one can manage with little ones. The kitchen was right behind us, used for masterclasses with celebrity chef Eric Lanlard. And he was there in the cafe too 😁

Vegan Afternoon tea with champagne experience.
When it comes to vegan afternoon teas la suite west have managed to establish themselves as the best well no longer, least not in my opinion.
The interior of Cake boy was colourful and fun this was followed by great service and attentive service. The staff had our seats waiting and promptly offered us the menus to select our teas. 1837 black tea with soy milk was delicious.
Then followed the food. The sandwiches were delicious and i loved them. The savoury sandwiches were sizeable but above all tasty. No cucumber petit sandwiches on offer here.
This was then followed with a huge arrary of sweets and wow were they great.
Anyone wanting a vegan treat should come here. I loved it

Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea - the food/service/atmosphere is always exceptional here! I decided to order a birthday cake for my husband and it was the most stunning cake I've ever seen (almost as good as our wedding cake!) I got so many compliments from his guests that I just needed to write a 5 star review because Cake Boy is simply that!
I always buy sweet treats or cute gifts from here for special occasions! Thanks Cake Boy for helping with all the good times and more!

Best vegan afternoon tea, hands down! Sorry La suite west. Nice size savoury sandwiches full of flavour and huge array of sweets. Nice to go somewhere that vegan part isnt an after thought.
I've had a few afternoon teas and this is up there with the best if not the Best!!!!!
The atmosphere is amazing as is the service and food
Not your run of the mill sandwiches, but exquisitely filled croissants, small stone baked rolls with lovely fillings, the cakes were a dream like nothing we've had before, even had a spritz to get the taste buds going!!!
