The staff were super welcoming at first and their style of serving is super elegant. The restaurants overall cleanness is fantastic. Their food is obviously tasty along with the restaurants ambiance. Music taste is fine. The decor isn't bad either. Would highly recommend eating at this place.
A must for breakfast lovers. Awesome pancakes and coffees and eggs and everything tastes great. Love the design of the place, really gives off good vibes! Highly recommended
In my two months of being in London this has been the BEST food experience by far. The menu is diverse and creative the food did not disappoint. Portions were big and full of flavor. Shoutout to Victoria and Alessia for being a kind and all-round awesome in taking care of me and my friend
O liked the place and the food! I had avocado toast with rye bread and poached egg and a carrot, beetroot and orange juice. I also tasted the pancakes. I really liked the toast, the bread was pretty delicious, the avocado was creamy and a little spicy but it was ok for me. The pancakes were very good and tasty and well served, maybe the dough was a little little bit heavy for the way I normally like pancakes.
I didn’t like the service, the waiters looked bored and not so efficient that was supposed to be.
Although I didn’t like the service I pretend to come back.
Really nice place, the food was amazing, really good pancakes and bacon. The place is very cozy for a cold day, the staff very helpful, highly recommend the visit!
The best breakfast ever! From the eggs to the pancakes passing through the beer! Totally in love with the pancakes! A "must visit" in all London! Keep the good work!
The Breakfast Club's are a great place for breakfast. This time I wasn't as lucky as my guest (who ordered the pancakes) and I ordered the waffles - they had a iffy flavour to them... A 4 is granted given past experiences.
They put service charge in the final bill.
Went into the breakfast club craving a flavoursome breakfast to prepare us for a day of sight seeing around London, the Breakfast Club delivered. The highlight was the chorizo hash - the perfect amount of spice with fresh ingredients and great portion size. The coffee was good too. We will be back the next time we are in London.
Loved the place . I had the posh sandwich and a green juice but I also tasted the banana and peanut butter Shake. I liked the flavour of everything and the floor staff was efficient and nice . I will be back when I can .
We waited a little to get seated.. but the food was just amazing especially the pancakes with cream and berries. The huervo rancheros were very good and flavourful.. we also had a pineapple and lemon grass smoothie that was yummy. Staff were friendly most of the time.
On every trip I go to, the morning before fly out always goes in a flash. By the time I get on the plane, settle in and finally arrived at my home destination, more often than not I feel as though I have just ran a marathon. Whether its that shitty budget airline Easyjet or the 1 hour train ride from the airport to my apartment, I always end up feeling pretty spent and dinner-less. So on my last day in London it was time to build the reserves. This time, I was at the Breakfast Club in Hoxton.

First time I came after the works they have done here. Now with great service and the pancakes are still the same. DELICIOUS!
I am glab I gave a 3rd opportunity to this Breakfast Club in Hoxton. Even if it was only one year after!
Good, tasty brunch of pancakes, home style potatoes and bacon with lashes of maple syrup. Great coffee, delicious smoothies, friendly service. Love this place for a catch up over delicious food!
The Breakfast Club in Hoxton is my favourite breakfast experience. I've never been exposed to a place which serves a breakfast menu throughout the day. You can expect a cute looking interior with English and American inspired breakfasts. I actually ended up ordering the All-American Breakfast: a stack of pancakes with streaky bacon, eggs, sausage, home-fried potatoes and maple syrup (pictured on the right). I had to take half of it away in a takeaway bag because it was so much. I also suggest trying the Pancakes and Berries, which is simply decadent because of the whipped vanilla cream.
The service was quick which was a good thing because there is often a queue of people waiting to enter the Breakfast Club.
This is my very first blog post (you can find out more about me and why I set up this blog on my ‘about’ section). And I’m starting off with a post about our recent work visit to The Breakfast Club in Hoxton. We’d been talking about going somewhere for Pancake Day and The Breakfast Club was getting so much attention socially and in the local press that we just had to give it a go! I’d been to The Breakfast Club in Clapham many times before, but ironically enough, for dinner rather than breakfast!
Eating on sofas=amazing. This is the kind of place I love to find in London. A super relaxed atmosphere and amazing american comfort food mean I definitely left happy.
I thought it was hilarious when we were shown to our "table": a few sofas around a coffee table. It was great to crowd around the table, chow down, and then sit back and relax.

They had me at ‘we’ve got an arcade machine playing Paper Boy.’
Named for the seminal 80′s classic, what’s wonderful about the Breakfast Club is although the music is pumping and the waiters are rushing from table to table, there is a serenity about it.
I've eaten at the Angel outlet of the Breakfast Club on many a Sunday morning, and for me it is still the best place to have brunch, although Caravan is giving it a run for its money. The Hoxton branch is a lot bigger and has the feel of a diner rather th
The following day I wanted to get myself a proper English breakfast. Alli came across this small London chain restaurant and was sold by the name alone. We walked into a very busy restaurant on a Friday morning and found something way more hip then we were expecting; mismatched tables and chairs, lots of hip 20 somethings and a surprisingly playlist of early 2000′s R&B and Hip Hop.
It's always a nice place where taste a delicious plate in a great and alternative place love it .
Benedict egged , Pan cakes , smoothies, English breakfast ...... Wow

A little disappointed with the food, but mainly with the service.
Everybody knows how amazing the pancakes are, and all their breakfast stuff, so I decided to for something more 'lunch appropriate'.
My friend had the Avocado and Poached Egg with crispy bacon, and that was very good.
I ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich, explaining to the waitress that I'm celiac and can't have any bread. When my dish came the chicken was still served to me with bread. I don't know whether it was the music being way too loud (I personally prefer restaurants where I don't have to yell to the people sitting next to me in order to have a conversation) or just her lack of interest in what I'm saying. When I finally got what I wanted the chicken was a little dry and I didn't enjoy the Breakfast Club like I usually do.
Really like this venue. I always have a nice meal with friends and good place to meet new people such as Russell Brand ;)! The portions used to be bigger a few years ago. So when I recently ordered pancakes I was surprise of how little the portition was this time.
I always opt for unhealthy options and fast food, but thus time i thought i would go for healthy breakfast options. I ordered poached eggs, mushrooms and multi grain toast. The food was appealing and appetizing. Along with it i also ordered their coffee which was perfect for my liking. This place is a good value for money and service is also prompt and efficient.
I personally adore these kind of places and am delighted when i find them in the city. The seating arrangement is typically sofas and coffee table which although was unexpected was quite nice. The atmosphere then was really casual and relaxed .The menu is in great sync with the ambiance and serves comfort food of American style.
I was very happy when i left!
I love this place with all my heart. The food offered here is humongous in proportions and definitely worth each penny you pay for it. The flavours of the food are absolutely delightful and hit the right spot. The staff is very amicable and offer personalized service. They are also very helpful. I have been a regular at this place and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
This place is surprisingly very good. I had visited the restaurant for breakfast and i am glad i did so. The restaurant offers an elaborate English breakfast with everything delicious and sumptuous. The staff couldn't be friendlier. The prices are also reasonable. The decor is beautiful and artistic. A great start to a day!

This place is hugely inspired by traditional british and irish cuisine and their way of serving. There are many british cafe and pubs that serves meals at all time of the day, all dishes at any time, breakfast, lunch, dinner menu. This place serves an all english breakfast and has staple cooking technique for almost all dishes, that is fry up in pan!
This heavenly restaurant holds the perfect ingredient for a Friday night hangover - some delicious afternoon brunch. With a large variety of omlettes, pancakes and breakfast dishes, I would say, Breakfast Club is the ultimate places to have breakfast. The genuinely nice and helpful staff are always ready to fulfill all of your needs and are always keen to help.
Also, highly recommend that you try the Elvis Milkshake, an excellent refresher that will lift up your mood!
I'm a regular and The Breakfast Club, but I just keep coming back. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and the breakfast club knows how to do it right.
Massive portions that make you feel like you'll have to be rolled out of the cafe, and everything there tastes so good. From breakfast burritos, to pancakes, to burgers, to massive breakfast platters, nothing is even a tiny disappointing.
The atmosphere is very retro and laid back, and very American. It's a really interesting and fulfilling experience. Kick start your day with a detour here.
Cosy and catchy atmosphere for starting your weekend. Usually you have to queue for about 15-20 min so have that in mind. Food is good but be careful with what you order because the plates are huge!
Friendly and cozy environment. Great experience.
Lovely place where to have breakfast with friends. Perfect place for American pancakes, which are super well made and cooked. I had them with blueberries and raspberries. They were just memorable. Very soft and nourishing. I also had one of their milkshake, and it was very creamy and tasty. Prices are okay. Be careful... because portions are quite big.
I recommend going to the Breakfast Club for an enjoyable and yummy break at any time!!
The breakfast club, a place where it is 100% ok to have a bloody mary with your fry up. I use the term fry up loosely here, it is gourmet breakfast. I first started my affray with breakfast club in soho, working on Oxford Street it was simply the closest place that would do good food quickly. Since then they have sprung up all around London and seem to be thriving in each branch. This Hoxton branch is no different, cool and contemporary great staff and a focus on fun.
Eggs benedict with home style fried potatoes and the pancakes with bacon. I would go back and eat this again tomorrow - without the home style fried potatoes, they were slightly undercooked. The eggs were perfect and the bread really soft. The pancakes I believe are one of the reasons why this place took off - you could not get a decent american breakfast in London - until here - it is so good. Butter rested atop pancake on maple syrup on pancake on maple syrup etc.. I have eaten many a time here and am rarely disappointed. Oh and the bloody mary - spot on.
Best breakfast ever! Wow!
It was a classical Sunday mornig but I was starving and looking for a nice place to stop. I came upon this place accidentally! The staff was so friendly, the service fast and the food was great and reasonably priced.
A friend of mine that came in with me had the pancakes and waffles and they were seriously out of this world! They had the best toppings and were so delicious!
He cleaned up his plate and I almost ordered another plate for myself.
The full monty was quite good and tasted very much like home and my I enjoyed that.
When I make it back that area I will definitely be making a stop here again!
The name says it all really! The perfect place if you’re after a good old-fashioned fry up for a reasonable price and large portions!
They serve breakfast all day – literally, with breakfast foods even included on their dinner menu – so if breakfast is your thing this is definitely the place to go. The menu is huge; you can get anything from pancakes to black pudding to breakfast burritos. Add the usual eggs and accompaniments in a variety of styles, including a few not so traditional additions (e.g. falafel with the vege breakfast and even a slow roasted pork dish) and you have a meal to suit even the pickiest of diners.
We went around mid afternoon, which was great, not too busy as I can imagine it would have been on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere is awesome – funky and relaxed with 90’s beats that you can’t help but sing along to. The staff: friendly, attentive and super casual.
I had a struggle trying to decide what to order - as mentioned the menu is huge! I eventually went for one of the Club Classics, which was a Buttermilk Fried Chicken burger served in a brioche bun with coleslaw and tomato. The chicken breast was huge, the bun really nice but it came served with no sauce so was really quite flavourless and dry. It was fine though and was very filling but I wouldn’t order that again.
My friends breakfast, the “Full Monty” was well worth the 10 pound! He said everything was delicious and was stuffed after that plus the Breakfast smoothie!
All in all the breakfast food is great and the lunch ok, the atmosphere super fun and the staff really friendly. I think I will definitely be back at some point soon for the breakfast!
All day breakfast sounds appealing right?? Well the Breakfast Club in Hoxton is place to go whether it's breakfast, lunch or even dinner. When I arrived I loved the atmosphere and the tunes. I couldn't stop singing along to the old school classics that were pumping in the restaurant. The Breakfast Club really is a well suited name; what better way to have your breakfast and start the day right than, good food and good tunes!
Their all day breakfast and brunch menu is incredible. Perfectly cooked eggs, to light and fluffy berry pancakes, if you're one with a sweet tooth that is. There is something on the menu for everyone.
I popped in to this trendy and out there establishment one day for lunch with some friends and opted for the lunch menu. WHEN HALOUMI MET SALAD WRAP jumped out at me on the menu. A tortilla wrap toasted to perfection with a slight crunch as I took my first bite. It was full of grilled haloumi, fresh spinach, houmous and sun blushed tomatos proving to be one of the lighter more fresh dishes on the menu. However if your more of a big breakfast kind of person, set your eyes upon THE FULL MONTY, this big breakie is really worth the £10 and it's even better if you add avocado! This dish will get you through a long day; whether it be a big day in the office or if you've just had a late night. It won't disappoint. Another hearty dish on the lunch and dinner menu was the BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN. Who can say no to fried chicken right?? The brioche bun was toasted nicely and the spicy jalepeno coleslaw was packed with flavour. However, this potentially amazing burger was lacking some kind of sauce. All in all it was still an edible meal.
But I can't stop there; not only the food is tasty but they are also huge portions, so it's well and truly worth your £££!
Breakfast Club = Start your day right, no matter what time!
The Breakfast Club is famed not only for being a hit coming of age-drama film in the 80s but now also a hit coming-for-breakfast restaurant for the modern lifestyle.
'Sex, Drugs and Bacon Rolls' says the neon sign as you walk in to the restaurant, symbolising the cool and edgy vibes that TBC emanates. With its retro board games and an assortment of paraphernalia pinned around (inc. drawings on napkins, numerous passport photos and even a condom wrapper), there's plenty to look at while you wait. I cannot tell you how much I was in awe of watching people walk into the large vintage fridge to get to the kitchen or staff room - it's always been my dream that the fridge opens up to another world of food!
In terms of the food though, I was a little disappointed as there was so much hype around TBC that I was expecting something more spectacular. I ordered the 'posh' sausage sandwich as I wasn't too hungry for a larger meal. The sausage was quite flavoursome but I think the chutney made me feel a little bit sickly afterwards. If I come again I may try the pancakes instead, they looked pretty good.
We only popped in for a late afternoon snack and didn't have any mains or breakfast foods. We ordered buffalo wings and skin on chips. The wings were nicely tangy and spicy, but not really crisp. Generous portion of 12 flats, and strangely no drummettes. Served with peeled celery sticks (ie stringy bits removed) and a tasty blue cheese dip. The fries didn't have any skin on, but they were good and crispy. They came with homemade alioli that contained quite a lot of raw garlic. We had an lousy waitress, but that's just bad luck I guess. Other servers looked less oblivious.

My God! If I had 1p for every time someone shot off about how amazing The Breakfast Club in Hoxton was I’d almost have enough to buy a packet of Space Raiders.
Could it really be that good or has my reputation of being a “breakfast food” fanatic fuelled these recommendations?
I had no idea, but I wasn’t about to turn down the opportunity to find out.
I say “breakfast food” but let’s be honest, the “breakfast food” umbrella is kind of redundant. Why am I only meant to eat bacon and eggs in the morning? And why is porridge not suitable for dinner? I’m an adult. If I want to start off my day by microwaving yesterday’s curry then I will.
Maybe it’s different for me. I’ve suffered from insomnia for over a decade now and mornings bleed into nights which bleed into mornings which bleed into out of focus nights. I’m currently writing this review with about four hours sleep in the last three days and have to ask, if I was to eat something right now at almost 6am, is it breakfast or is it my fifth lunch?
I feel like I’ve gotten off topic…
What’s important is that I managed to get to The Breakfast Club. The doors had opened a matter of seconds before I had arrived and I was greeted by friendly staff and my pick of any table.
I chose to sit at the “lonely bastard” table, which had just about enough room for one and was situated right next to the window where people can peer in and feel sorry for you as you eat your eggs alone... I have issues.
I sat down and was immediately brought a menu and a glass of water; a very, very small gesture but something I feel every restaurant should do. I ended up going for The Half Monty over The Full Monty for two reason:
1. You’d have to corner me with a flaming axe/sledgehammer hybrid to get me to eat black pudding.
2. I wasn’t feeling the grilled potatoes.
I was kind of surprised with how long the food took to come but I’m assuming that since I got there so early, the kitchen just wasn’t ready… But who cares? I wasn’t waiting super long so I won’t hold it against them.
When the food arrived… I wasn’t actually that impressed. There was one lonely sausage and a sad mushroom (I swapped out the grilled tomato for a mushroom because mushrooms kick tomatoes asses all day, every day) staring up at me from behind the toasted multigrain bloomer; a small piece of bacon peeping out from underneath.
On the plus side, the meal comes with two fried eggs (or scrambled if you feel so inclined) and they were cooked to perfection (I can’t stand over cooked eggs and don’t even get me started on eggs arriving with a burst yolk).
After getting stuck in, I began to realise why everybody ranted and raved about the place. Sure the food may look pretty boring but maaaan, was it good. The “lonely” sausage had lovely thick chunks of seasoning inside which literally burst with flavour, the “sad” mushroom was equal parts tasty and juicy, the “small piece of bacon” turned out to be a well hidden horde and the toasted multigrain bloomer… I have no words.
I’m a staunch advocate of white bread with a fry up and think if you’re going to go with such a life shorteningly unhealthy meal then you might as well have some soft and fluffy toast with it. But this bloomin’ bloomer (haha, I’m funny) fit so perfectly with the meal that I now have a loaf in the kitchen waiting for my next home cooked "breakfast" and would go as far as saying that it tied with the sausage as my favourite part of the meal.
I would definitely recommend The Breakfast Club and will almost certainly be popping in again the next time I’m in the Hoxton area.

I'm a big fan of the Breakfast Clubs. On my first visit (and then again on my second as I liked it so much) I went for a sweet option - French toast with apples and cinnamon. You get three hefty slices, all covered with the apples and soaked with maple syrup. Honestly, this is a breakfast of kings.
My boyfriend had a savoury dish - huevos rancheros which were fried eggs with chorizo, black beans and a tortilla. He was pretty pleased with his, although it was a lot of soft textures on the plate - a bit of crunch or something would have been nice.
It's easy to see why this place is so popular and so hard to get into on the weekends! As I said, I've been back for more French toast, and have also popped in for some mac n cheese - also delicious - after drinking in the evening. I'm a fan.
My friend and I decided to try out the Breakfast club for lunch on sunday at around one, which probably wasn't the best of ideas as when we rounded the corner to the restaurant entrance we were met by a queue of around 10 hipsters. Once we were certain we were in fact at a restaurant and not some food-less "alternative event" that these hipster types tend to gravitate to we decided to join the queue, which we remained in for a good 20 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait.
The venue was what one might expect, an american diner theme with 50's post-ironic under tones. We were seated at a sofa, the other option being tables with mismatched school chairs, and given how full the place was, were served impressively quickly. I was a bit disappointed that they only offered their brunch menu which meant I didn't have the choice of the mac and cheese which I had set my heart on during our wait. Instead, I opted for the "all american" which consisted of two american pancakes, bacon, a sausage, fried potato bits and eggs. You could choose how you wanted your eggs cooked, I opted for poached and they were perfect cooked. Although, the runny egg was difficult to keep from the maple syrup and the combination was not a great one, the same was true of the fried potatoes. The pancakes were tasty and somehow quite light despite being quite thick, the bacon was a little bit dry but were perfect for breaking up the sweetness of the maple syrup and pancakes. The "fried potato bits" were tasty but nothing special. However, all of it combined made for a hearty and enjoyable meal. My friend opted for berry pancakes which was very impressive, made up of a stack of no less than 6 thick american pancakes and topped with maple syrup, what looked like half a tub of ice cream and berries. We were both uncomfortably full by the time we had finished, this place definitely offers American portions.
In terms of price it was pretty reasonable given that these types of venues tend to over charge for the novelty of venue. My "All American" extravaganza cost me 10 pounds and my friends pancake stack cost around 7 pounds. My ice tea on the other hand cost me 3 pounds which I thought was slightly overpriced and when we ordered a jug of tap water our waitress conveniently "forgot." That said I highly recommend this place if you aren't health conscious and you are looking for a filling meal.
Expect a queue at weekends, but it's worth the wait. The pancakes are sweet and fluffy and the maple syrup moorish and, most importantly, plentiful! Even as someone who has been suffering some diminished taste recently the bold flavours punched through. My friends essentially full English with pancakes at less than £10 was quite good value for this obviously trendy venue inhabited by swarms of hipsters. This fact however perhaps undermines any attempt at an American diner vibe and the trendy location is accompanied by steep drink prices. The portions also tend to verge on too much - prepare for it to sit in your stomach for a while! But you can pick up a nice, proper American style breakfast all day with drinks for £10-15 a head - a rarity.
If you don't like waiting for a free table, I would recommend you visit Hoxton's Breakfast Club before 7 PM. Just after sitting down, you will be greeted with a cup of water which is very nice especially if its hot outside. The menu covers a wide range of food, here, I would only discuss what I managed to try out.
All burgers come with coleslow and chips. I got the chilli beef burger. The burger itself is small but very thick. I'm sure no one would be unhappy with the quantity of meat in their burger! The chilli beef burger is basically a classic burger covered in minced beef chilli souce/stew. Great burger, I don't think anyone can dispute that. The chips howeer didn't really impress me. If you get chips as a seperate side, it would be served with their special mayo souce which makes it a lot nicer but the quality of the chips is not as good as you would expect.
The berry pancakes are absolutely amazing. 4/5 american style thick pancakes, coverd in maple syrup, cream an berries, really nice combination. If you go a a couple and your both very very hungry, I would suggest you get to mains and share the pancake for dessert, but I have to warn you that the pancakes are very heavy and can do for a main so only do this if your both starving!
The price are decent for what you get and the ataff are very nice and friendly, food also gets serve very quickly. The interior is probably one of my all-time favourites. Although it is Americanised, but somehow it has a good feeling to it. Although I haven't visited the Breakfast Club for breakfast, I can tell you that it would be a good choice. I looked at the breakfast menu and it would e perfect for a late and heavy brunch, they have loads of savory options and a variety of healthy/delicious drinks. I have to mention though, I have heard from more than one person that their french toasts are that good, something to bear in mind.
Overall it is a restaurant worth visiting every now and again, I guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed.
The prices are quite friendly with a range of £ 10-20 including drinks and the place is also atypical, with large wooden tables, but it is certainly very small, fortunately the staff is quite accommodating. The small problem of Breakfast Club is its success. On weekends there is always a mad tail, because yes it is really small. A tail style 30min or 45min so it must be mo-ti-vee. A wise ... You will have been warned.
I've already talk about the Breakfast Club of Spitalfield Market.
This one is exactly the same : same Menu, same atmosphere and great cocktails but... Too many queue : More than one hour between 12 and 2pm...
If your in this area at that time and you don't wan't to wait for a good brunch i will recommend you the Book Club (5 minutes walking, going down curtain road) or the Kick Bar (In Shoreditch High Street)
This place has a retro look dating back to 80's. They have old video games running on old TVs and archaic looking posters and light bulbs etc. I really liked the ambiance as it was very different to usual breakfast places in London. There is generally a long queue during the rush hour and you might have to wait for 30-45 mins to get a table. I had pan cakes and absolutely loved it. The English Breakfast was also very good, though the Chorizo was a bit of a let down as it was cold and very oily. Recommended for a weekend breakfast outing ...
The great thing about this Breakfast Club is that there's no principal Vernon here. However there's extra Bender, Clark, Johnson, Reynolds and lots, lots of Standish!
Have a Full Monty for criminality's sake with a Return of the Red Eye if you've misbehaved the previous evening.
Or an El Butty to build those muscle with a Green is Good spinach smoothie.
Otherwise Boston Beans to get those cells running accompanied by a Pommy Granny.
Alternatively a spicy Breakfast Burrito and a Mango Go for the basket case of the table.
Finally, you tuck into a delicate Posh Sausage Sandwich and a glass full of Carrot and Orange.
To sum up, this place is better than the real deal so forget your essays, break the rules and skip school and go brunch!
Note: watch 1985 Breakfast Club movie.
Ah the famous Breakfast Club!
Its reputation is completely deserved - the breakfast club is most certainly the best breakfast in London. Every time i have gone to the club i have been in a state (hanging). Every time i came out of the club, i have recovered.
It all starts off with the orange juice they serve, plenty of ice and and in huge carafes, unique in the area. For variety one can also chose to go with the carotte based "slow boy" which really is fantastic and makes you feel strangely healthy.
Then comes the main dish, my favorite being the benedict eggs. Do note the the full monty is also worth its while, whilst it does require more stamina to finish.
For the starving ones, the meal can be topped off, in my opinion, with the club's fantastic pancakes.
No doubt, this is my number one on Hoxton square.
Negatives: Long queues during the weekend - Loud music at times - odd chairs at times rather uncomfortable
The Breakfast Club in Shoreditch is located on a side street from Old Street to Hoxton Square. Very popular, it is often crowded at the weekends but if you wait ten minutes, the staff will make sure you will have a place to sit and eat. Very friendly atmosphere and high quality food. I highly recommend the breakfast club for people who have never been there. Always a sure value.
The Breakfast club is an institution. Located just beside Hoxton Square, there is often a queue of 20 minutes outside, and with good reason (you can call up and ask how long the queue is before you go). Once you are in, there is no pressure at all, from the staff to get you in and out, so you can relax and choose carefully from the extensive choice on the menu. They serve some of the best breakfasts in London, for all tastes. They have veggie breakfasts, classic english breakfasts and healthy ones too. Look out for the smoothies and juices which are particularly refreshing. They play great music, and it is generally the perfect place to start your day.
The Full English Breakfast was very filling and two people of medium appetite could probably share it. No dogs allowed, which was a bummer, but the staff prepped our takeout meals quickly!
The bacon and the beans were my favorite part of the Full Breakfast. The bacon still had that clear pork taste that wasn’t over powered by its saltiness. The beans had some deep flavor indicating that they were cooked slow, possibly overnight.
I will return here again and will try another breakfast staple they have!
We had brunch at the breakfast club today. I had heard of the chain but never been before. We ordered a dish of fried chicken 🍗 that was out of stock so changed to American pancakes and eggs Benedict with an ice coffee and a slake. For what it is, it is not a cheap place to eat. The food was good, the pancakes were nice and fluffy 🥞 the bacon crispy and the scrambled eggs creamy. The portion was good as they added a full sausage and potatoes. The knife was not cutting much and it was noisy.
Today we were in Old street, felt peakish so we checked out the Breakfast Club in Hoxton.
We were met by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a table.
We had the Veggie Breakfast which was fantastic, not only did it taste good, the presentation was tremendous.
Being event planners we are always looking at the decor and arrangement of places and spaces and have to say it has been done nicely at the Breakfast Club Hoxton.
As a lover of everything disco!
We loved the disco balls in the area we were seated, the colours in the space are vibrant and energising, table and chair arrangement made it easy to move around.
Overall we had a great time, enjoyed the food and feel of the place.
Pictures are from 2 different visits but the taste was just as amazing both times! First time I went was on my hen do and enjoyed it so much I had to take my husband to try it!

The Truffle Benedict is quite nice. It meets the standard. The pancake ball is very oily and greasy. The chocolate sauce is too runny. But overall experience is fine. A good place to have an easy breakfast menu.
Lively caf ( not a cafe as per their site) serving tasty breakfast food and sandwiches. The gluten free pancakes were perfect! A tiny bit crispy on the edges- just how I like them. Coffee is great too! Refills at 1.50. The music, however good, was too loud for my taste.
My favorite breakfast joint while in London. Like a good old diner with a more urban touch. Friendly service, good food - much enjoyed my classic blueberry pancake and bacon combo.
I love this place! It was so close to our hotel that we stopped by several times. The food is delicious. The staff was wonderful and the music and atmosphere were delightful.
Lovely staff, great breakfast options, very generous. We took colleagues from France and they loved it too. Ordered a selection of meals and they all went down well, came v fast it was great for a work lunch.
The breakfast club (all locations) always serves a mean, tasty breakfast and coffee which never disappoints generally speaking.
My only criticism of The Breakfast club generally speaking is it’s always really busy so service generally suffers and it’s had to conversate with the people you are with without shouting at each other (depending on the location).
Visited for breakfast while staying nearby. Half of the dishes were very good, half were so-so (scrambled tofu lacked flavour and vegan pancakes tasted a bit weird). The prices are very high for breakfast but they do use quality ingredients. What I found very cheeky (maybe it’s typical for London) is that the full cooked breakfast doesn’t come with toast - this was £3 extra! Which made the Vegan breakfast set £17, not including drinks….
Very nice place to eat. Everybody was super friendly and the food tasted very good. For a student traveling it might be little pricey, but I guess those are regular prices in London.
It was a lovely place with such lovely staff. Everyone was very kind and truly made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend to anyone who would like an awesome meal and a good startup for the day!
We had a really good time here this afternoon. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had the Big stack and my partner had fried chicken with gravy which was a nice surprise! The music and general atmosphere was also pleasant. Highly recommended
A great place with a variety of breakfast dishes.
I opted for some trusty pancakes with bacon that were so fresh and yummy!
My partner ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was to die for😍.
They have restaurants all over London so definitely visit if you go!
I'm giving it a 4 which is a 3.5, because it's a good place to meet up with friends and kids and they have appetising dishes, but my eggs benedict were rather cold, and a bit too dry. Coffee was good. I'd pick something different *and a little more exciting in flavours) to meet with grown ups only.
Excellent service by all staff members. Order was taken quickly and food came even quicker ! Only waited about 5min for both our meals to come out. Very good quality breakfast too!
My expectations were high but I was also very hungry after a long train journey, but the breakfast club has really kind inviting staff and a great full menu.
My personal choice was for the iconic pancakes, which were very very good and fresh, paired with a tasty smoothie. My partner had a vegan burger which was 'much tastier than most alternative burgers'.
Although it is a little pokey the atmosphere was good, the only thing that let's it down is the closing and opening times plus the price is a little high for what you get. But I'd definitely for again !
