Went to celebrate a family member’s birthday. Fortunately it was ideal weather to visit a high rise restaurant such as this. The views across London from this restaurant is beautiful. We were there for lunch and I think the views would be even better in the evenings. The restaurant decor is pleasing and has a calming effect. The starters and cocktails were spot on. The main course especially the non-vegetarian dishes were very tasty and well done. The portions are ideal for sharing - not overwhelming but will not leave one starved either. The vegetarian options especially for the main course are very limited and most of them are tofu based which was a damper. The tables are booked for 2 hrs only and the waiters do keep reminding you of this which was an irritant. The prices are as to be expected from a high end restaurant such as this but worth it.

Just recently went for dinner here on my vacation in London, and when we came off the elevator, we were immediately blown away with the amazing Thames River and city skyline night views. The food was really good. The only thing I would say if there was a negative was that the pancakes that came with the Peking Duck were a little dry, but other than that I would say things are amazing.

Came here for an early Birthday celebration. Food, service and everything was great, thought its worth my time to make a review. Mentioned in a comment when booking, that it was my partner’s birthday and they accommodated very well with a nice dessert. Good view, atmosphere and food. Food was of decent quality and portion sizes were reasonable. Definitely a good place to go for an event for the experience, service and food. Would recommend to go just before sunset to experience the view before and after

Was there yesterday. Views are amazing. Food is good, but portions could be a little bit bigger. Pricing equal to this place prestige.Lovely staff. For sure will come back :)

We had a wonderful time celebrating my partners birthday here. The food is good, and the service is top notch, but at the end of the day you’re paying for the view. Almost all tables are laid out by the windows so you get an incredible view of the city. We loved the pork dumplings and the lotus leaf ribs the most! Darshan was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had great service the whole night 🙌🏻

Amazing food and views! The staff is welcoming and polite. The food was 10/10, we had the lunch menus and they showcase what some of the best things in the menu are, but there is so much more to try! We were caught in a storm whilst there and it was FANTASTIC, seeing the rain from far, reach us and then leave and welcome the sunset! Will come again.

My sister and I visited Hutong and tried the Signature Dinner Menu. We had the most memorable evening with a special window seat view of London. The food was phenomenal, every single dish was perfect. The staff were faultless, we received a warm welcome and they couldn’t help us enough. Truly an unforgettable experience. Thank you.

We went here for our 10th wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint, the view from gong bar was amazing then we went for food which was phenomenal, we went for the set menu the dumplings the crispy beef the duck was amazing Mains and dessert class also All in all special evening and will be back only thing is adding 15% service charge to total bill which came in at £65 which I declined to pay I did tip just not that amount. Really this should only be added to groups of 6 or more, we aren’t in America where they rely on tips to make up wages slightly annoys me this. Overall apart from that perfection, views fantastic absolutely loved it And will definitely be back

It was an unforgettable experience dining at Hutong. It was buzzing, staff were very helpful, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, food was modern, well thought out and delicious. As for the view- it’s worth going just for that! It’s extraordinary/panoramic and not at all diminished by it being nighttime. Expect to pay a lot, but worth pushing out the boat for an experience you’ll never forget!

The view was great, the food was unique and not what you would typically get from your local Cantonese restaurant. We were served by Darshan who was very pleasant and patient, which added to the occasion we were celebrating. I would, however, echo another review about considering having a policy on taking photographs. The moment a couple next to us by the window left their a table, a family already seated across the restaurant dashed over to pose for multiple photos by the window whilst a waiter was trying to clear the table.

One of the best dinners I had in my life! The view on the 33rd floor of the Shard is definitely fabulous, especially during sunset. The food tasted flavorful and authentic, not compromising on level of spice. Perhaps the best Chinese food I have eaten. The service was attentive. They deserved the service charge. The price is quite steep, do consider this when visiting this restaurant. I highly ( no pun intended ) recommend Hutong. 8.5/10

I came last week and the service was 10/10. Emma was my waitress and she was amazing. She always checked up on me and made sure I was okay. She looked after the 2 tables next to me as well really well. The view is incredible and to who ever is in charge of seat allocation I really appreciate them because when I booked online I asked if possible to be next to window and they listened. I was worried about coming on my own but there was someone else next to me who came alone and all staff were lovely and welcoming. I had the £39 (39 of 49 i can't remember) deal. My favourite was the main. Rice with some beef. The beef was so tender. I had a really good time .

Hutong is an excellent option for really high end Chinese food. The sweeping views of London on a sunny day are a real bonus in addition to the fantastic food. There is a good variety of interesting dishes such as the red lantern and the crispy prawn rolls. The service is very good too. The prices are high but irrespective Hutong is a great option to celebrate special occasions.

The dishes were thoughtfully prepared and tasty. The service was appropriate, and the atmosphere relaxed. Well cooked food. Slightly too much salt for my liking, but I’m picky. The dumplings were all delicious. As was the prawn dish. The cucumber was slightly too chilled to match the warm duck (for the pancake dish). That spoiled the mouth feel a bit. The chocolate desert was a delight - 10/10. One sorbet was, unfortunately, virtually frozen, so rather difficult to eat. The other one was spot on. I enjoyed my experience and would return. A solid 7.5/10.

Hang out with friends after a full day of meetings. The atmosphere is excellent and the best night views in London. Great places to relax. By the way, they even provide moon cake for the Mid-Autumn Festival!!

The restaurant boasts of scrumptious food, an inviting atmosphere, and charming decorations. Nonetheless, it appears that the overall experience can be greatly influenced by the weather. During my birthday lunch there, it was rainy and gloomy outside, which made it feel similar to dining at any good Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, which would likely be more affordable. They also don't guarantee you a table by the window, so it all comes down to luck. Overall, it's a great restaurant and definitely worth visiting on a sunny day.
