Great little spot to stop off for a coffee and work a little. Quiet and chilled. Was not to busy when I was there late in the afternoon, but I bet you get hordea of freepance media types settling in for a bit of hot deak action.
This place is a bit hit and miss for me. Some stuff is really nice and other stuff is a bit dry and tasteless. It is great to go to a cafe that's entirely gluten free though.
Beyond Bread bakery is a culinary pioneer with a range of naturally gluten-free foods, and has been selling its wares in London since 2015. We visited recently, and had quite an eye-opener and most lovely foodie experience with a gluten-free menu.
This is a must-visit for any coeliacs visiting London. Entirely gluten-free, huge selection of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, and breads (and the scones! Oh my!), plus delicious coffee and the friendliest of people serving it. Go hungry, leave happy.

Ever had a gluten free scone and thought "damn that's so good!" ? No, me neither, until I visited these guys! A great variety of pastries, cakes and sandwiches, and all approved by the coeliac society so you know it's legitimate. I only stopped in for a raisin scone on the run, but it was superb and
tasted just like what you imagine your grandmother would make!
My favourite place to have something to eat when I'm around Oxford Street. They have a great selection of gluten free food - great banana bread and the quiches are amazing! I'm so thankful for this bakery!
Yummy in my tummy. Great gluten free bakery with lovely coffee. They have a great seating area and brilliant selection of lunches (salads and sandwiches). Their cheesecake is awesome!
Absolutely love the space and the menu. My friend is coeliac, and having a reasonably priced gluten free bakery was great. We had cappuccinos, French toast and poached egg sandwiches, and all of them were good. The lunch offerings were a bit less tasty though. Be warned- there is no bathroom here. You will have to walk down the street to a pub to use the restroom.
Beyond amazing. If you love wonderfully creative and tasty sandwiches, superb scones, excellent filled quiches and a stunning range of delicious cakes together with free water or nice teas this place will impress you.
If you are *also* gluten free this place will delight you. If you are coeliac you will think yourself transported to a cafe that you might wish to exist should a genie grant you one. Yes Beyond Bread is 100% gluten free but that *only* makes it safe. It is the flavoursome food and friendly service that make it terrific.
My tips are, try the veggie Bad Hunter toastie, at least one quiche, whichever salad dish appeals most and the wonderful New York style cheesecake. And the Carrot Cake. And the Magic Mushroom toastie. In other words, visit more than once!
Love that after initial introduction scones vanished from the menu because Beyond Bread were not satisfied with then. Fear not, they returned long ago and are available with jams and cream. Spread those in any order you like 😋
Absolutely loved their gluten free options. Lovely food and highly recommend for gluten free families. We had the avocado smash and nutella waffle plus cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert.
Great gluten free cakes. We tried the honey cake and the chocolate cake and both were delicious. Coffee was good too. Staff were friendly and decor is nice and relaxing.
I had an english breakfast which is pretty awesome for a gluten free tourist, the bread wasn’t spectacular but the dish overall tasted above average! The staff seemed a bit impatient and not very keen on helping us. Got a stare when I had a hard time deciding which pastry to choose. Loved the taste of the pastries and will definitely try more when I’m in London again, but I’ll take it to go.
My girlfriend is coeliac so we thought we’d try beyond bread due to the positive reviews we’d read online. It’s safe to say it met the high praise received, we both had a dairy free flat white and almond croissant, and then I had the granola whilst she had a toastie which was all well made, fresh and tasty!
My favorite gluten free bakery. Has delicious bread loafs, especially the brioche and seeded loaf. Cakes are delicious too. Croissant type pastry is not like the real thing but then again haven't found any better alternatives. Friendly staff and you can order birthday cakes!
Had breakfast there twice already. Ordered the cinnamon roll, almond croissant, and honey cake. The cake and the croissant were great. The croissant was flakey, with an almond paste filling that's not too sweet. The cake with its creme fraiche layers had a lot of honey flavor without being too sweet either. The cinnamon roll, on the other hand, was a bit dry and had that xanthan gum slimy mouthfeel you often get with gluten free breads.
Had a cappuccino as well, which was quite ok.
This gluten free cafe makes delicious bread, pastries and cakes. I highly recommend the "Smashed Avocado" for breakfast, or a loaf of the seeded bread for a picnic in the park. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The only downside is the lack of seating when it gets busy.
Their black bean brownie was *amazing* and I would absolutely recommend it. I can't have dairy, so I was very pleased with how they designate what is and isn't dairy-free (they also have other designations on the food placards, like nut-free). Service was quick. Americano was pretty standard. The cafe itself seemed nice but a bit dark -- I ate outside and it was lovely!
I stopped in here very briefly when I was in London. I got one slice of their honey cake and ate it while I was there. It may have been the absolute best thing I have ever eaten, gluten free or otherwise. The staff were friendly and the shop was adorable. I also got a chocolate danish and a cookie to go. They weren't anything special.
We enjoyed a great brunch here and everything was so fresh and tasty. Price range of things on the menu is between 5-15£. Recommend the banana bread and the granola. Everything is 100% gluten free.
I loved the falafel sandwich and the fantastic chocolate cake, which is not bad when considering that it is my wife being allergic to gluten, hence used to normally eat food with gluten. Very tasty food and friendly staff! Thanks for the experience!
Only cons, there are few seats available...
I liked this place. I tried the toasted banana bread with honey and natural yogurt (served aside), and a flat white. It definitely kick-started my day!! The combination of the sweet honey-and-banana-bread with the sour natural yogurt was heaven. Bread was soft and warm. Just perfect. Well, I am a super fan of everything that has bananas on it so perhaps I’m a little biased? But again, the combination was amazing. The coffee was very good too!! I was there on a Thursday morning, no queues, plenty of space to sit, and the staff was friendly. Will be coming back!!
EDIT: just remember something I didn’t like: either the tables are too high, or chairs/couches are too short. Anyway, a bit uncomfortable to sit down.
Very nice cafe. Quick service, good location. Loved their gluten free cake and a coffee. A little bit pricey and very little space to sit down.
This place is amazing, the food is hot and delicious. Anyone with a gluten intolerance or with Celiac Disease, should try this cute little place 2 minutes walk from Goodfellow Street Station. A great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. You can even takeaway you own fresh bread or cakes.
