It was a super fun experience. Outstanding cocktails and great atmosphere. Recommend it once in London, get your tickets before not to wait much.
One should take this Experience as it's just ice and ice. Drinks get serve in ice glass.
Can't stay more then 30 mins, and need drinks a lot.
Having been to ice bar stockholm already but alone, wanted to take hubby along this time to have him experience ice bat first hand.
Prior booking is mandatory, and sometimes slots for upto 3 days in advance are already full.
We selected the 11pm slot and it was no surprise to see the amount of people inside!
We stayed for about 30-35minutes and had an amazing time. One complimentary drink is included in the enty fee and one can buy more from the bar counter inside. Although the drinks seem a bit too overpriced. But an experience I would recommend for everyone!
I think you are rushed in 2 hours and I feel it should be extended to two and s half hours or three for parties of 4 or more. Thank you ))))
On Friday night myself and the chap took a wander over to Heddon Street, just off Regent Street, to experience the ICEBAR. For the chap this was his first time in London and I hadn’t been in a good three years so the design was totally new. I’d been mega excited about this all day as I knew we’d be having a decent night ahead!
On arrival we joined the queue where we were given out tickets and second drink passes. The staff were bloody awesome, so very polite and it really felt like they enjoyed their jobs which I feel can be quite rare in bars and venues now days! They were very hospitable, whisking the chaps backpack away and donning us in those super stylish capes.
The theme of the ICEBAR is frozen food and I love it!! The bar was a frozen goods truck and around the room was a frozen pineapple you were able to have your photo taken in plus a rather delicious looking cupcake!
We both tried different cocktails; I opted for the Tropical Sensation that was made up from Absolut Blue Vodka, Blueberry Liqueur, Tropical Fruit Juice, Lemon Juice, and Strawberry Syrup. It taste so summery so it was certainly an odd feeling with being so cold whilst drinking it! The chap went for the Blue Blazer that was made up from Four Roses Bourbon, Blue Curacao Liqueur, Ginger Ale, and Lemon Juice, and he loved it! We had the same cocktails second time around which was a little naughty as we should of tried the others but these were too good to not have again!
Once our 40 minute session had come to an end we lined up to get rid of those capes; I’m not gonna lie I’d so own my own one for winter months!
We had such a great experience inside the ICEBAR that we decided to continue our night in the warm bar. The cocktail menu is pretty damn impressive and I had to try the Purple Rain concoction. It was made up of Absolut Kurant vodka, Triple sec liqueur, Crème de Mure liqueur, blackberry puree, and lime juice. The chap isn’t a huge fan of cocktails so he went for a Jamieson Whisky and Diet Coke.
Once again, the staff were great. I have to say our experience was so enjoyable I can certainly see us going back once they change the ice again, which brings me on to some awesome facts about the ICEBAR…
Everything inside the ICEBAR is made out of crystal clear ice harvested especially from the frozen Torne River in Jukkasjärvi, Northern Sweden. This is due to how clear the water is, and once you’ve seen how amazing the ice is inside the ICEBAR you’ll totally understand why they bring it over all that way! They bring specialist sculptors over for 5 days to work on the designs you see, and this happens once a year. Every three months they pop back over again to renew the tables and chairs as they get a fair bit of wear and tear!
Thank you so much to the team for having us and for making us feel so welcome!
Super cool once off experience! It's literally a giant freezer where everything is made of ice, from the bar to the glasses to the decor. You need to pre book a time to go and they give you thermal ponchos and gloves as you enter but dress warmly too, it's so cold inside you'll be thankful you did. Cocktails are nice, but the main attraction is the overall icy experience. Fun for 30-45 mins. Worth going for a different experience!
One of my memorable moment is the visit to Icebar. They get u jackets and u enter a room at -8°c. It's soo well managed and decorated. The entry pass includes a complimentary vodka and choice of mix. Starting from the bar, the glasses to the seating area everything is made up of ice.
Only thing I couldn't manage to stay more than 30 minutes even with their jacket. Awesome experience.
I recently visited the Icebar for a blogging event to review the new theme of london Rocks. It;s such a special and fun venue and let's be honest that's part of hat you're paying for here, the experience. The plush capes, cosy gloves and delicious drinks in hollowed out ice glasses. The new Theme is so beautiful and so worth a visit. Also if you are having an even their warm rooms in the basement have so much space and such a good variety of cocktails make them well worth a visit!Read the full review on my blog :)
I’ve always wanted to visit the Ice bar. What better reason than my birthday?! or more accurately my birthweek. J, K and I decided to get out of the chilly winters night in London, cosy up in their iconic blue capes and ski style gloves and plunge into sub zero temperatures. The ice sculptures are frequently changed in the Ice bar, reflecting the theme. On our visit the theme was ‘frozen food’.

You wouldn't believe such a place exist, a magical chamber like the Disney movie Frozen. It's a place to go to freeze your butts off, don't fret you are given a blue foil cape to keep you alive. You enter a freezing chamber filled with ice sculptures, for the £15 entry into Ice Bar.
The entry includes a glass of cocktail which is also made from Ice. Ice Bar is definitely a fun experience to go with friends to huddle up like penguins.
A freezing, yet unique experience indeed on Heddon Street! And since it was already freezing outside, we didn't mind (after a short queue), stepping into this cold experience! I am not sure if this is true, but we were told by our barmen (attached) that our 'glasses' were made from ice that is brought in all the way from Northern Sweden! However, after the first twenty minutes, even with the gloves and thermal blue cape, we really weren't sure if we could last the whole 40 minute session! It was definitely an experience that I would recommend, but I am not so sure I would return!
First time in my life I had a awesome "mocktail" in icebar, which makes me eager to have daily, I heart fully recommend others to have such pretty good drinks at this place ?
Icebar London is somewhere that I have been dying to visit for ages but always thought was way out of my student price range. I braced myself for the prices when I looked online. I was so pleasantly surprised! If booking in advance and going during on of the off-peak times (anytime Sunday-Wednesday or up until 5.45pm on Thursdays), you can buy entry to the Icebar including a thermal cap and gloves and a spirit based cocktail for £13!
The staff were so friendly and after giving us a little insight into the history of Icebar and what we should expect, we kept our coats on, had a cloak thrown over our heads, and stepped inside.
Our first port of call was the bar for our free cocktail and I decided on a Tropical Sensation while my friend went for a Li'l Tart. When we saw the size of the cocktails, we were a bit disappointed, but they were so strong and as the ice glass melted, it watered them down making them last for such a long time! I had a taste of the Li'l Tart and preferred it to the more pungent flavours of my own.
The room was much smaller than we thought it would be but instead of feeling cramped, it was intimate and cosy (for a room made out of ice).
After 40 minutes, our session was over and we both agreed that we'd really enjoyed the experience. I would agree with the other reviews that say it's very much a one time experience but I'd recommend it to others looking for something a bit different!
Just a one-time experience if you ask me. Its central London setting along with the interior decor gives off the nice classy scene. It is all made out of ice as one would expect from the name and so it is quite amazing to see. The cups are made out of ice too and that in its self is unusual and just one reason to go. The experience was very exhilarating just because of how abnormal it was but in a positive manner. I think it is something not only Londoners want to see, but can be seen almost like a mini tourist attraction when you come to London.
You are giving a nice coat and an option to wear the gloves, (I suggest you do) and you are giving about 40 minutes to experience it fully. It sounds like more time would be needed but it really is enough time especially because you start to feel the cold towards the end. I got the ‘Around the world’ cocktail and I recommend it. People don’t commend this bar for its drink but I do. I would however, prefer more for the value.
Must visit for all.
Wow! This place was just so cold and beautiful! You are given coats with a hood to wear and it is below -5 degrees in this place but It was absolutely worth it!
It cost me about £14 for a 40 minute session and I just did not want to leave the place.
It has great lighting and you can take beautiful photographs there with your friends and family. The drinks are served in ice glass and you would want to just eat them! Haha..
They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks so it's is happy days :) They have Ice sculptures inside and lighting changes to different colours on them! Red was a great colour to take my photos in, go there and see which colour suits for your photos!
I would definitely recommend you to go and experience something very unique and jazzling!
Excellent ambience, a very warm response of staffs and the food is also good where you can enjoy all this with music & drinks. If you are London you should definitely come here and relax with friends.
The forty minutes slot we received at this place was well worth and enjoyable. To begin with, the place is separated into a bar upstairs and restaurant downstairs. We had a delicious and well cooked and served meal at the restaurant. Cocktails served at the bar were incredible. Staff is pleasing as well!
We just happened to come across this place while working and found it to be very crowded. It was clearly a very popular place and that is always a good sign. This raised our expectations and I must say they were easily met. The ice carvings here make for a great ambiance. The attention paid to details is quite commendable. The cocktails are very delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
We went to this bar to experience the ice bar and the whole atmosphere along with it. You get to drink from ice glasses which is pretty cool. you can stay inside for quarter of an hour which is good enough. Atleast the experience is different from the same old bar experience.
Me and my fiance enjoyed the whole forty-five minutes of experience at the ice bar. Cocktails were very nice and refreshing and quite reasonable considering where we were getting it. The huge coats were warm and comfortable and to add on they give great pictures as well. We would definitely return to this place again!
I had an amazing time here. The atmosphere here is very comfortable and relaxing. The glasses here are made of ice! Make sure you do not stay too long or you will get cold. The staff is nice and amicable. The food is also very delicious. Definitely worth a visit for a chilling experience.
What an amazing cold evening i spent here with my partner. The huge coats that they provide are so warm and cosy and also gives you great pictures. The music that was playing in the background was amazing. The cocktails served were really nice and refreshing. I spent amazing and fun filled forty five minutes at this place.
If you want to experience something new and try a different place then this is the place for you. One of the most lively and happening places around in London. This place happens to be a bit expensive but for a once in a month trial, this place is absolutely worth it. Recommended.
Had a lovely experience here when I went here with my partner. The food was great and the drinks exceptional, only thing lacking were icy glasses. The complimentary shot we got made up for more than that. The ambiance is great and made for a memorable experience.
It is a pretty unique experience. The service is decent as you are efficiently given your coats and shown to your seat. The interiors are also pretty awesome with some really vibrant lighting.
The drinks are pre ordered but extras can also be had here. The taste of both of them was incredible.
All in all ,you will have an amazing time here with good crowd and lovely music setting a very interesting ambiance.
I visited this place after having a few drinks at another bar and decided to visit it as we wanted to do something fun. The staff and the entrance will provide fur capes and you would have to enter wearing them. Everything is made of ice starting from the tables to the glasses. I would recommend it for a one-time visit for some fun.
The place is a major tourist attraction and requires prior bookings. The chairs, tables and glasses in which they serve drinks are all made of ice. You can only stay inside for a maximum of forty minutes. The staff is hospitable and kind. In all, a good experience and I would definitely recommend it.
I had a really good experience at the restaurant. In my opinion, it is one of those places which must not be missed!
This ice bar houses a pretty awesome and interesting bar as a feature and those ice glasses are just plain awesome.
This place and the interiors will definitely keep you busy as it is so intriguing. The service is efficient and not rude at all.The only annoying thing was that at the end of our time , the customers are flashed with a really harsh light
I am not interested to go back but one must definitely drop in.
Beautiful and amazing place for a visit.
Very reasonable ticket as in that amount we get many things including an amazing experience.
A 45 minute experience. You are given a snow overcoat with attached gloves and made to enter this bar which has temperature maintained to a certain level. Beautiful made interior. The bar, setting, glasses, pillars and structures just everything is made up of ice. They serve one cocktail per person in an ice glass which is amusing and fun.
Very good experience, must visit.
Can't rate the food because I haven't eaten here yet, but for a relaxed evening drink in pleasant surroundings, it's perfect. The wine is excellent.
I will definitely get around to rating the food soon!
When my friend and I arrived, we were welcomed with thermal coats to keep us warm in the -5 degree room. We were then escorted into the bar, where we were told that we had 40 minutes inside the room, which we thought was not going to be enough time, but it definitely was. As we entered the Ice Bar, we went straight to the bar to purchase a cocktail, which was delicious and served in a glass made purely of ice!
We were only two out of roughly seven people in the bar at the time, which made it very spacious. After finishing our cocktail and taking the typical touristic photos in the Ice Bar, we decided to depart 15 minutes earlier than the maximum allocated time.
After experiencing the Ice Bar in London, I am in no big rush to go back, however overall it was a great affair. A recommendation to those who have not yet been!
I think everyone can agree this is a must see in London!! The ambiance is amazing as everything is made out of ice, it is extremely striking and memorable. When I said everything is made out of ice, I mean EVERYTHING. From the tables and chairs, to the bar, to the glass that you drink out of. They give you a big coat to throw on and some gloves, which I recommend accepting because it really does help to keep you warm. Because of the coat I was able to stand the 40 minutes, however towards the end I really was tired of how cold it gets in there. The drinks are actually amazing! I wasn't expecting much out of the drinks, I just went to experience the ambiance of the bar, though I was wowed, I got the "Around the World" cocktail, and it was very tasty. I think the value was decent, considering the experience we got, and only paying less than £40 for the two of us, good value I believe.
So, definitely a highly recommend experience, that I can now check off of my list. So, not a place I would go back to anytime soon, but definitely an unforgettable experience that I loved!
It's certainly an experience you'll never forget. Of course it's a mighty big price tag but just enjoy one drink dressed in that penguin sized coat and enjoy the ice. Seriously everything is ice!
Really nice place and well worth going if you are on a visit to london.
£16 - 45 minutes and a drink on the go of your choice!
As you walk in you will find some nice bars and restaurents inside it.
Exciting and fanatastic atmosphere , actually thrillinf. everything is made of ice - the glass in your hand too!!! Great photo opportunities.
Second drink little expensive but a great experience.
Recommended.
Loved it! This is the place to go when you're with a few friends enjoying a day out in central london.
Great atmosphere and everything is ice! You can actually eat the glasses because they are made out of ice, not that I would recommend it. haha!
Great service, staff members were really friendly and nice.
Definitely recommended!
Icebar is located in the epicentre of Soho and is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a different way to spend your evening. Within 10 minutes of arrival, my girlfriend I were handed winter Jackets with attachable mittens and, shortly after, we entered the Ice bar. The décor really is fantastic with hand carved sculptures and table tops made using single blocks of ice. Despite the off-beat décor, the ambiance is really that of a hustling and bustling tourist crowd with ‘selfies’ being taken left right and centre to capture the unusual setting! The cocktails were lovely and I would definitely recommend the tequila based ‘El Salvador’. The only downside was that the small ice glasses we were provided with meant that the cocktails weren't the best value for money. We were in the bar for 40 minutes but this was more than enough time to enjoy the ambiance.
Icebar is a really excellent experience and is unlike anywhere else you will visit in the whole of London. I highly recommend going, even for this reason alone.
In the heart of London, unique place for a drink
I stopped here for a night cap on a spring night in London, and was sure glad I did. The craft cocktails were fantastic-- I'm very particular about my old fashioneds, and mine was made perfectly.
Even more than the actual cocktails was the selection. Most places in London will only have standard cocktails and maybe some fresh ones.
This place offers a good mix of cocktails and the location is just exclusive and great. It’s an experience that all have to try at least once.
If you feel like a night in an authentic place that is different from the rest, or just want a trendy place for a great cocktail, this is a must visit.
I would recommend going to the Icebar if you have never been before. However, if you're looking for a regular place for cocktails, it would be better to go to the bar attached to the Icebar rather than the Icebar itself.
My friend and I booked in advance to go to this place. This sum covers the entry costs and 2 free drinks. We were given a blue cape to keep us warm before entering the Icebar. It's quite small inside. The drinks were lovely, especially because it was very cold as the glasses were made out of ice. We were only in there for less than an hour before our time was up so it was a relatively short trip. I enjoyed my experience. It's a novel place that you should definitely try once.
Rated Situated in the heart of Soho, the Ice bar is quite an attraction for tourists and many Londoners.
Before you enter the actual ice bar, you can enjoy a coctail in a pleasant atmosphere within the separate area.
Upon arrival, at the entrance you get a coat as in the ice bar the temperature is fairly minus. For £12.50, if it has not changed, you also get a drink in the bar. You get the drinks in a glass made of ice which make the experience even more exciting.
The slot for staying is around 40 min, but personally I believe it is enough to capture the moment.
It is a great experience for first makers, but make sure you book it in advance.
As the name say "Icebar" you just have to visit this place for crazy drink in extreme cold conditions. Don't visit this place with the intention of having bar food with some drink. If you do so you will be little bit disappointed as menu is only limited to finger food. On my personal experience I just loved this place and concept of having alcohol in freezing temperature. The slot of 40 mins is more than enough to enjoy this chilling experience.
You are been provided with thermal jacket, hood and gloves before entering ice made bar. Make sure you book your place well in advance over here.
The best part is that even the glasses are made of ice and you do get option to choose your own complimentary drink.
Visited on 18/01/14 myself and 3 friends had a fantastic time great experience the cocktail was lovely. We arrived early but wasn't an issue as guy on the fitted us in, in an earlier time slot so we was very greatful for this. The Icebar was smaller than we expected but did not stop us having a great time!! Would come again and recommend too family and friends.
my experience in the ice bar was excellent and i thoroughly enjoyed it. i would highly reccomned people to book up if they visit london. id also reccomend booking in advance to make sure you get a ticket becuase when i went it was packed. overall it was a great experience
