Very typical Italian restaurant; not too much thought given to the design of the place but the food is amazing!
Got the Orecchiette broccoli, salsiccia & parmigiano, which was really really good! Next time I need to save some more space for the desert as this time I was completely full..
The only downside of this place was the slow service, it was friendly but really slow.
Italian restaurant in the Italian district and attended by Italian ...I know why!!! In the City many restaurants sponsored italian cuisine, but unfortunately just few of them are italian. Here we spent 20 pounds each for a pizza, one beer and a dessert. Everything was good and the restaurant was clean with a friendly environment. Recommended for who want to feel at home even if lives abroad!!!

Nella City molti locali si spacciano per italiani, ma questo devo dire veramente con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. 20 pound a testa per pizza birra e dolce di buona qualità, in ambiente pulito e cordiale. Consigliato per chi vuole sentirsi a casa anche a distanza, mangiando una pizza di qualità e con ampia selezione.
Super busy Italian restaurant in the exmouth market. Few of my friends have recommended this restaurant for the pizza. However I wasn't feeling too hungry so instead I had mixed antipasti and pasta with porcini mushrooms and ragu. Both dishes were amazing! Mixed antipasti is massive and I had to share it with my husband. Pasta was cooked al dente and the ragu with porcini was divine! I'm coming back soon with table booking!
This is one of my 'go to' restaurants. It's authentic and delicious. The staff is very friendly and if you speak Italian, you'll strike up a real chord. I love the pizza rucola and the gnocchi. I also often ask for things that are not on the menu like carbonara. Living up to real Italian strandards, the waiters are only all too happy to cater to these requests especially if si chiede in italiano!
Atmosphere: relaxed, warm and homely.
Food: had the bresaola to start which was delicious - really good quality meat. Followed by the baked gnocchi with smoked mozzarella and pappardelle with beef and porcini ragu which were both really good. The ingredients were fresh.
Wine: the malbech was good as ever and a more than decent wine list.
Definitely above average. Visited Santore on a Friday night. The place was packed but I had reservations for 4. Had two starters, a pasta and 2 pizzas to share, and a tiramisu for dessert. Food and services were impeccable despite the Friday night crowd. Servings were generous, had an entire pizza left for breakfast the next day.
Santoré use a huge wood oven fire to cook their pizzas, and with an Italian amongst our group, I was very keen to gage her opinion on her 'home' food, as I had been more than hyped it up! Thankfully I didn't have to eat my own words and she was suitably impressed. The authenticity of a place is always enhanced when you see 'natives' eating there, Santoré amplifies and every time I've been here it's been packed with Italians with a great vibe. Certainly not place for a quiet meal, as it can get quite loud, but it makes for a great ambience.

Having heard a lot about this place we decided too take a chance and landed up there for dinner without reservations, on the off chance that a table may be available. Luckily there was a small 2 place table where the guests were finishing up and was hastily cleared and prepped for us.
We ordered a bottle of house red, and settled in to peruse the menu. We ordered the Cozze Marinara as a starter and were served a heaping portion of perfectly cooked mussels with bread. It was truly an extraordinary dish, and we wiped the bowl clean with the bread. I have eaten mussels on numerous occasions before, and found this to be by far the best.
I had the Veal in Breadcrumbs with a side of spaghetti as my main, and my companion ordered the baked pasta with meatballs. Both dishes were very well prepared, and despite being full, we wiped everything clean. In this happy overfed state, we were in no condition for dessert, and we departed after having an excellent cappuccino.
The service was exceptional with our waiter being friendly, courteous, and professional, and always eager to please, and intuitively knew what we needed, be it a few twists of the pepper mill, or some extra Parmesan cheese.
My only complaint, albeit a minor one is that the tables were very closely spaced, and privacy was lacking.

The location is ok but nothing special, it reminds me of some pizza places in the south of Italy, maybe being in London a better interior design, coupled with an even better choice of wines and other dishes would have made this place amazing.
If you are in the East and you want to find a rather inexpensive place where to get an outstanding pizza, go for it.
A seriously adorable place decorated in warm tones, picturesque paintings of Italy and tiny fairy lights sprinkled throughout the restaurant. The waiters even communicate with each other in Italian!
I went here for lunch with some friends after uni. It's worth it to go here just to try their pizza; the margherita pizza is the best I have ever had! The pizzas come in variations of lengths which you can choose from and toppings based on the length you go with. It's perfect for sharing! We chose the 3/4 meter length with Parma ham, mushroom and the final portion was margherita. Just the right amount of food for 4 people!
Nice place very friendly staff. Food is Well priced I particularly like the 2for menu. Servings are big so I normally struggle to eat both courses. Would recommend u book as gets very busy at lunch time when I have been. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The pizzas are particularly good. Worth a visit :)

I organized a dinner with my friends at this place.
It was suggested as a good place where to have Italian cuisine.
We did not want to eat too much so we began with a couple of starters.
I remember we had “cozze marinara” and “antipasto misto”. These dishes were to die for! However, after starting eating our plan to not eat too much was already gone. Any dish sounded amazing so it wasn’t entirely our fault :D.
We chose to sit outside and it was so relaxing after a long day. We then decided to get “Penne Siciliana”, “fusilli freschi con cozze e vongole” and “scialatelli con melenzane”. We split dishes between the five of us.
This is one of the best Italian meals I have had here in London.
You really cannot get bad food here so I suggest trying this place out.
Examouth market is the street I walk through every day to get to uni. It is so cute during the day and magic in the night. And here, almost at the end, it is located one of my favorite Italian restaurant in London - you might want to have a look at my review for Sartori to understand why.
Indeed, the two restaurants are managed in the exactly same way and the owner is in fact the same. The atmosphere inside is really nice and very Italian, I do actually feel at home sometime. They also play Italian music.
Food is as amazing as in Sartori and I would definitely encourage you to try the pizza. Prices, compared to London's restaurants, are not even exaggerate but worthy the food you eat. According to me, Sartori and Santore are the best "Pizzerie" in London, so far: word of Italian.
Family feel lively Italian restaurant. Really good pizza,would recommend the veal also. Not a fancy restaurant but reliable good food.
Santore is another little gem from Exmouth market. Located right at the end of the street, this Italian's forte is in my opinion its wooden baked pizzas. Do expect fairly typical italian cuisine from this place. However, also recognise the real effort made when it comes to the quality, freshness and authenticity of the dishes on offer. The atmosphere is also very friendly and italian which makes a difference. Obviously, being italian, its not always the most efficient. The restaurant has a nice terrace option in the summer although tables outside are limited to 5. I don't really have too many negatives to say about Santore. Indeed, even my usual foe , namely "prices" aren't too inflated at Santore from my point of view.
My advice: Best italian option on Exmouth Market and its surroundings.

Very good Italian restaurant on located on Exmouth Market. Very affordable prices. Just ordered a half meter quatro stagioni...it was fantastic. great to find a better pizza delivery place other than the classic chains. The dough is out of this world and the vegetables fresh. The service is also quick.
Great to have a good quality pizza delivery that isn't Pizza Hut or Dominos...
Its all Italian ingredients, fresh, and the price is affordable.
Highly recommended.

Exmouth Market is a gem of a street with great independent restaurants like Caravan, Moro, and Santore, and places to drink with Exmouth Arms and Cafe Kick.
Santore is one of the best pizza places in London, that has direct comparisons to the ones you get in Italy. It's amazing value, at similar prices that you would pay in bland chains such as Pizza Express or Zizzi. It's great to go with a large group, between 8 of us ordered half the pizzas on offer in 2 meters worth of pizza!

Food was great! That ear shaped pasta with broccoli was amazing and something I haven't seen before in an Italian. The tiramisu was also very delicious and fresh. Totally recommend to go there with loved ones or with family

this was my first time visiting santore on exmouth market, which i've always been intrigued by!
we sat outside on a friday evening in the sun which was glorious.
i went for the dutch veal in breadcrumbs which came with spaghetti pasta, two meals in one which was a big win in my eyes - sensational food. my partner went for a prawn pasta dish in a parmesan sauce (not pictured).
We then shared a margherita pizza for a second course (ambitious)!
will 100% be coming back to try more of the menu
Wow, went on a Monday and it was busy.....having experienced it I can totally understand why! Fab service - attentive, but not overbearing. Good drinks menu (no cider I don't believe though) amazing food.....so tasty and huge portions! Can't recommend highly enough.

We had a lovely meal last night. We sat outside and even though weather was wet and miserable, the heater and canopy kept us cosy. Service was good and food was great. We were very pleased.
Love Santoré. Been here a handful of times and always come out massively delighted. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavour and excites the senses - and super filling too!!

The food here was fantastic, but unfortunately the same could not be said about the service. An older gentleman who worked there clearly wanted to rush us to the point where when we asked for time to look at the menu, we got a tut and a sigh.
Same again when he asked if we wanted dessert.
Managed to accommodate our group of four within an hour, great service and delicious 🍕 pizza. Had the 1m wood fire baked pizza..
We ordered the Buffalo mazzerello and funghi pizza, both vegetation options. Really good. Finished up with some desert and a cappacino!! Reasonable price for really good food!
Have been to this place when I used to live around and it was still good. Lovely pasta although salty(had to ask for a lemon to balance the flavour). Nice presentation good portions lovely pizza and deserts. Not impressed with the wine though (not a good rose). Very kind service.

A delicious meal out. We ordered 2 Pizzas and 2 Salads. The food arrived very promptly after placing our order. I had the Vesuvio Pizza which had a light airy crust and was toped with an egg in the centre, which I really enjoyed. For desert we ordered the tiramisu which had great texture with perfectly soaked sponge layers.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with great service and a delicious selection of food to enjoy.

I loved the selection available, but was disappointed with the "garlic pizza bread", I was expecting garlic bread, but it was literally a whole pizza base with a thick tomato and garlic sauce on top! All that was missing was cheese and it would have been an actual pizza! It was way too big to be a starter too, it would be enough for four people to share as a starter.
The sausage and broccoli pasta I ordered was absolutely divine though. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Again, a very large portion though.
Great price for how fresh and well made the food is, and for the enormous portions of course.
Love this place and so glad to be able to have a bigger table than 6 again. Resturant was very accommodating with pee ordering and bringing in a lovely birthday desert at the end. On a nice day there's outdoor dining too, lunch menu is such good value and food is wonderful, really recommend. Staff were at tentative and very polite, thank you! 💛
