The last time I sat in Brownie Box eating my slice of tiramisu cheesecake, with its tangy amaretto base, fluffy centre, and lightly cocoa-dusted topping, I was tempted to smear it all over my Chromebook screen in the futuristic hope that Google would enable you, dear reader, to taste but a shadow of this divine combination. Then the rest of me said NAFF OFF GOOGLE, THAT’S MY BLOODY CHEESECAKE, and even if I could, I wouldn’t, because it’s just too amazing and you wouldn’t appreciate it, so back away whilst you still can, you ungrateful pudding-stealer, just BACK RIGHT AWAY AND PUT DOWN THE FORK.
A quaint, friendly cafe on the high street with an impressive assortment of cakes and many twists on the old brownie favourite. Had a beautiful chai latte accompanied by one of the famous 'bronuts'. Couldn't resist adding a ferrero rocher brownie to my order. Both were incredibly decadent and are sure to fill up even the biggest sweet tooth. Not sure if the bronut will be a household name by the end of the year, up against the revered cronut. But I enjoyed the bold inspired menu and will be keen to drop by for a morning tea treat again. The staff were particularly friendly, offering suggestions to match the brownie with the customer. Would be nice to see a less generic country-kitchen decor used. Hopefully the lure of the delicious cake window draws in customers nevertheless.
I love brownie box. It's hidden away on old Brompton road and is a fantastic alternative to Starbucks/costa. U get great cupcakes, tea and most of all brownies! Really reasonable price and friendly atmosphere. As an added bonus taste card gives 50% off!
Brownie Box is heaven for someone with a sweet tooth!
Their brownies and famous blondies are delicious, moist and freshly baked. The coffee and smoothies are good and aside from their brownies, they always have a scrumptious selection of other cakes and pastries. They keep adding to the menu, so there is always something new and exciting to try.
Brownie Box is a family run business and service is always warm, friendly and with a smile. The atmosphere is good and what I really liked is that the bakers wear the cutest aprons!
If you are tired of going chains to pick up your coffee and cake, then it is definitely worth popping into this local gem. I would definitely recommend their blondies and ferrero rocher cheesecake!
OMG! Way too many Yummies to choose from. That's a damn good thing! Definite cup cake appeal decor and friendly staff. Tables are a little small for 3 people but with cakes this good who really cares.
Niki was an absolute star with our wedding cake. We are big fans of their cake pops and brownies and after trying and not loving a standard wedding cake supplier, we decided to discuss our order with Niki. Niki was extremely accommodating and helpful with making our custom order a reality, organised a delicious tasting before we placed the order and created the exact custom cake we wanted. The cake not only looked amazing but it was also delicious! We are so happy to have chosen Niki to do our wedding cake and highly recommend to anyone!
The best cupcakes ever! They organised the most gorgeous engagement themed cupcakes for us that everyone absolutely loved. Cannot recommend this family-owned bakery more! Will always have them as my go-to.
I ordered a bespoke birthday cake from here and they were so lovely and accommodating. The cake itself was one of the best I’ve ever had, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! Will definitely be recommending this xxx
I ordered from the Philippines a bespoke cake for my dad in London. They have been extremely wonderful & smooth to transact with. 💖
To Brownie Box, thank you for helping me make my dad’s day! You have my love & support! 🫶🏻✨
This is my favorite place for a little treat in London and I'm not even a brownie person. I mean obviously if you love brownies you definitely need to go here, but I'm more of a cookie / cupcake girl.
They make the best thing I've eaten in London which is a broughnut (brownie doughnut). It's somehow dense and light and fluffy at the same time with huge chocolate chunks and sort of a thin sugary crust. Almost like a super moist lava cake, but not gooey. I can't describe it accurately. It's amazing though.
If you don't like chocolate, I'm sorry for you and I also recommend the Biscoff blondie which I think might have white chocolate (white chocolate is different. It counts as a chocolate alternative). The muffins are great too.
They change their menu all the time which I love because it's always a surprise, but you should probably order ahead if you want the broughnuts or something specific. I'm pretty sure they can make anything if you just ask. You should probably ask at least the day before though, so they have time to make it.
I ordered 6 broughnuts on Christmas Eve this year like an hour before they closed (I know - jerk move), but they were so pleasant and kind about it and acted like it was no big deal. If Hollywood ever needs inspiration for their next main character in a London-based holiday movie, every single person who works here is exactly who they should cast. Immaculate individuals. Exactly who you would hope and imagine works at an adorable London bakery.
Recently revisited this place and am happy to say my original review still stands!
A great selection of brownies, I am particularly fond of their blondies, and I ended up buying two boxes as gifts for my family which everyone loved.
Still lovely service, still great prices, still great brownies.

Popped in here to try their brownie of the day and the carrot cake.
Blown away.
The staff are really lovely and the cafe has a lovely feel to it. The brownies are simply fantastic with the correct amount of crisp on the edges and gloriously melty chocolate without being overpoweringly sweet. The portion sizes are just right.
The carrot cake was excellent and they were nice and generous with the walnuts and use of carrot.
I will definitely be back, especially at their reasonable prices. Far better than other pastry treats you can buy that will really set you back.
The best brownies in the world. We got a selection and devoured all of them. Such a great place and the nicest people ever. Highly recommended.
The most moreish brownie ever tasted.
Bought for a party and no regret. The outer of the brownie had lots of chunky chocolate, has the crunch and a melt in the mouth soft centre. All guests enjoyed this delicious, well presented and plentiful tray bake.
Will be back for more !
Fantastic brownies and blondies, lots of cool flavours and just amazingly done. Have been coming here since 2016 and they are the absolute best brownies I've had. They also do gluten free ones on some days or via instagram request. Absolutely fantastic! Would recommend to everyone! (Tend to get takeaway, as I live nearby, so can't comment much on the atmosphere and amenities inside, they don't have a bathroom though).
Absolute best brownies and sweet treats from my favourite bakery in London! Thank you Brownie Box for the yummiest, gooey, moreish treats that one could ask for!
They never disappoint in all that sugary happiness!
