In a peaceful side street off Piccadilly, an oasis of a pub. Small cosy entrance leads into two floors of welcome and wrap around ambience. Staff at the bar are attentive and make eye contact to let you know you are n the queue for orders.
Brilliant selection of ales and lagers and …… gins and tonic
Great location for a traditional old English pub. If you dine definitely go upstairs. Quite expensive for what is a good but pretty standard pub menu, good range of pies and desserts. I had the plant based burger, my wife had the puy lentil pie and both friends had the beef shank pie.
We love this pub. Have come many times throughout the years. Service is good and qui. There are some good options of wine ( although a bit pricey for the quality), and some interesting options to snack on.
It is just very close to the station so perfect to meet friends coming from different parts of
I had a great time at The Clarence in London. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Highly recommended
We were glad we made reservations for The Clarence for dinner after a long day of touring the sights. It was located just around the corner from our hotel. Our table downstairs was ready when we arrived. Pies are a specialty of the house and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered the chicken and portobe
I have been here yesterday. I had a fish and chips and it was mouth watering. I suggest everyone to once in life you must have to visit The Clarence. You guys have amazing beers, whisky and wine selection. Moreover, The staffs were amazing and they provide good service.
A cosy little spot near Hyde Park. Perfect for a glass of wine and a sharing platter with friends.
The staff were helpful and did everything with a smile. It was a lovely atmosphere.
The food was great. The kitchen staff are swift to prepare and it arrived looking and tasting lovely. Perfect.
I had one of the best Ribeye steaks ever. My wife had the Hake, which she loved. We wish we had seen this pub earlier in our holiday week. We had the same meal less than 1/2 a mile away, it was twice the price and not as good. The cooks and staff deserve a pat on the back. When and if we come back w
Lovely place where to spend time , lovely food, friendly and professional service in a traditional English pub atmosphere! Highly recommended!
Wow, this a little gem of a pub, slightly off the main thoroughfare of Picadilly, but nonetheless a diamond in the rough.

The Clarence is located just off Piccadilly and is just a stones throw from The Ritz Hotel. Getting here is easy, Green Park Tube Station is a couple of minutes walk away.

Superb service.
I have visited several nicholsons pubs across England and Scotland, and this falls into line with the same quality of several, but the service was better than most.
The waiter was very attentive to us despite it being an "order at the bar" type of restaurant.
The food was good, the d
Nice pub on a Sunday lunch time. Just a beer and nice glass of NZ white this time, but very attentive service. We didn't have time for lunch but it looked great. To be honest what's not to like opposite the Ritz and a few yards off Piccadilly? Just watching the world go by in this great city. We'll
I celebrated my birthday here with a group of friends. The food was delicious, the team was kind, especially Jastina.
A lovely pub with excellent service. The staff were so welcoming and served us some delicious plates, we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon! I would highly recommend a visit if you haven’t done so already… worth every penny!
We were there recently and as per usual been satisfied. We usually go there after a running event but always have had nice food. The staff is very kind and helpful especially Justina who always walks around and asking if everything ok. Nice place to be. I can recommend.
Awesome pub in the heart of the West End close to the hustle and bustle of Leicester and Trafalgar Square. Great stop off point for a pint and a bite to eat before heading to the theatre and local events. The pub landlord is friendly, well cultured and travelled; you a guaranteed to feel relaxed and
