Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Every plate of food was delicious and served one plate at a time so we could savour it to the fullest. The tomato and bread was honestly really good and I recommend it. All the seafood was fresh and was cooked with the unique Spanish charm.
The counter bar and the restaurant upstairs (that you can reserve) have different menus and this time we ate at the counter downstairs. The staff was friendly and recommended us the dishes we wanted to try.
A really, good tapas place with an excellent experience at the counter. The atmosphere is great and it being busy and bustling really adds to it all, even if it means you have to wait a little bit longer.
Food was solid, although some dishes a bit hit and miss, the ones that did hit were full of flavour! Octopus is a must in here. Michelin star but still pricey for what it is.
The host was amazing, really did amazing squeezing us in!
We had a reservation at Sabor, but it turned out to be a surprise when we discovered that the counter menu and upstairs menu differed. Thankfully, the accommodating staff allowed us to change to the counter bar. I would recommend ordering the octopus and squid ink paella. 🦑🖤🥘 Truly amazing! Other dishes are good but not quite as outstanding. The service made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. 👏🏼😊 Overall, very nice! I think the vibes of this place suit for dinner with a small group of friends. Will definitely come back for more 🍽️🌟
Sabor is one of the best Spanish restaurants I have been to. They offer fantastic food, good wine recommendations, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere for enjoying tapas.
We tried many of the dishes and wished we had room for more. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and welcoming. The waiters were very professional, but at the same time lighthearted and quick on their feet. They were obviously having fun in their job and with the guests, and they seemed passionate about both the food and giving the customers a great experience.
We brought our 1-year-old child, and that was no problem. The staff immediately showed up with a highchair, and the bustling atmosphere and ambient sound made it perfect for our, at times, grumpy little one. They were very attentive to our child and joked around with him, which we always appreciate.
The Michelin star is well earned. I’ll definitely come back for more.
It was my boyfriends birthday and the staff were so amazing. They brought ice cream treat at the end and both waitresses who served us were exceptional. We loved the food and wine. Will definitely come back.
Exceptional food. Worth their michelin star although not "fine dining" as such. The turbot (oh the turbot)- possibly the best fish dish I have ever had in my life (and being Mediterranean I have had a few fish before). Strongly recommend. Go now!
If you’re keen on some of the best Spanish food anywhere, then Sabor is for you. Really couldn’t have asked for anything better food-wise.
The staff is very friendly and keen on giving you the best experience. We were greeted and the host asked if we were able to speak Spanish, which we could barely but enough to order and feel like we were in Spain. Obviously they’re also very friendly in English.
We sat at the counter and it was really fun to watch all the work that goes into making the dishes. The kitchen team seemed to be happy to be there.
I’m pressed to find any negatives, but if I must I’d say there’s a bit of wait if you didn’t book. Still, totally worth it.
Save this place for special people!
It’s definitely one of the best London restaurants I’ve been to!! Each dish was amazing, my favourite was the Gazpacho soup, the seafood rice, the tuna empanada and the rice pudding to finish it all off. Delectable, delicious and delightful! Our waiter Nico was incredible and so knowledgeable. Will give this place 100% a must try in London.
We tried both the upstairs and the counter over different evenins. The counter offers a wide selection of fresh fish and meat, in addition to some tapas options (but it is walk-in only), while the upstairs has only a tapas-style menu (but takes reservations). Both options have a very tasty selection, though we found some dishes to be amazing and some to be not quite there. Food is also quite expensive. Would definitely recommend the black rice and the appetizer with micro shrimps (don't recall the name).
Food and service was excellent but the place is quite small. Our favourite was prawn croquettes, seafood rice and monkfish tempura. We also liked tortilla. Octopus was a bit too bland and oily for me but cooked perfectly.
We tried goat’s cheese ice cream and custard empanadas as dessert and they were delicious. Highly recommend.
