Reviews The Thomas Cubitt Pub Belgravia

The Thomas Cubitt is a delightful gastro-pub in Belgravia on Elizabeth Street, with an informal pub-eatery downstairs and more formal dining room upstairs for those special occasions such as the pictured mains, desserts, cheeses and wines. I had the vegetarian options of the baby artichoke salad, followed by the beet tart which were delicious.

I would strongly recommend dining on the upper floor above the main pub area. The food is excellent, prepared with lots of love to details and very fine flavors. Was very positively surprised first time I went there - both food and service exceeded my expectations. Been there twice in the meantime and will definitely go back. Food is pricey but well worth the money.

Amazing experience. Friendly staff and wonderful service. No hesitation when asked for a vegan dish. Will recommend and return here many times.

Top notch. Great cosy abode downstairs, with great service and food. Chilli salt squid, followed with the Grilled Rose County Farm rib eye steak (stunning chips but steak was so so) and finished with the Apple Pie with the rum & raisin ice cream, which was possibly the best i've tasted! Definitely be back!

Gusto fine dining. The restaurant upstairs manages to hit a good balance between gastropub and fine dining. I was v impressed. And I though the price was very reasoble too.

This place can do no wrong in my eyes. For me, it’s the perfect venue for meeting friends for drinks and/or food. Service is efficient and friendly; and costs are not extortionate for London with portion sizes decent and the food fresh and tasty.

This pub/bistro is picturesque and so so fine. Everything is very pristine and white, ( white paneling, bucket lamps, light paneling) and perfect for a cheeky drink with colleagues or a date. The food is fabulous, their beetroot salmon (13.5) and rare breed beef burgers (14.5) are amazing. Sooo tasty and worth the price

A very darling little gastro pub- although the least 'pub' like dynamic. This is more of a place for Prosecco and giggles than a 'pint with the lads', but it has a charming dynamic and is perfectly relaxed for post-work drinks or a good quality meal in minimally pretentious surroundings.Upstairs they have a quiet and more civilised dining room, as well as a slightly more 'beverage' focused downstairs which has a bit more life and soul.I'd say this is an ideal spot for a first date, or with those you might not want to dedicate your whole night to. In fact, this is the perfect place to find yourself having a few drinks, before deciding to stay on for a sobering supper. The décor is light and spacious, and in the tucked away streets of Belgravia, is a top people-watching spot. Service was top notch; we were almost told off for going to the bar ourselves, and were left to our own devices apart from when -*shock horror!*- our glasses or nibbles were running low.Prices aren't cheap, but food is great quality. Along with their large selection of wines and some cheeky cocktails, there are also plenty of bar snacks and a dining menu that is fairly similar to that of upstairs. Choose downstairs for dynamic and informal, and upstairs for something a bit more special without trying too hard.

The Thomas Cubitt is one of my favourite restaurants in London. On a charming old Victorian street you have the Chelsea buzz matched with good gastro pub food at decent prices. Albeit the crowd is quite 'raa,' but what else do you expect in Chelsea. It is no booking policy (again an indication of consistently good food) so go have a beer at the bar while you scramble to get a table!

A fantastic dining experience here. Just got here in time to order some food. The Battered Haddock was absolutely fantastic. Great moody vibe with a vibrant amount of people. Definitely would recommend 👌

A great little pub in the heart of Belgravier where you can eat and drink in comfortable surroundings. The food, although pricy, but you are in the heart of Belgravier, was delicious and the service was quick. There is a good range of beers and wines to choose from but the seats could do with some cushions as the hard wood can get uncomfortable after a while. Staff were friendly and polite. Watch out for the £2 they add to your bill, for saving the trees, without asking you. However, well worth a visit.

Highly, highly recommend. One of the best pubs I’ve ever been to. Beautiful and well worth your while. Excellent burger too.

The service was excellent, the reception was very welcoming and the food was really good! I have multiple severe (life threatening) allergies and one of the managers, Darrel, made sure to make me feel comfortable in every way. I have never been in such good hands in a restaurant! I really recommend this restaurant, especially if you have any allergies!

Food is better than your average pub and service is pleasant but slow. Very cold upstairs as they don’t have the heating, so better try to book on the ground floor. Dessert (chocolate cake) was amazing. Truffles risotto was the best pick from the menu.

An interesting Georgian era pub and dining room named after a local builder! The pub was fine after getting over the threatening welcome signs outside "Private news, no standing or mobile phone use". A good beer or two and friendly attentive staff. A couple of cask ales on offer along with a range of keg lager, cider and Guinness. An enjoyable drink.

Delicious food, but service is a bit slow - highly recommend the Sunday roast, we had the mushroom option and it was delicious. The panna cotta dessert was excellent as well. Service was really slow for us so we waited a while for the food and for the check. Nonetheless would recommend for a solid pub meal

My London's favourite Sunday roast. Roxana provided excellent service and made felt everyone feel very welcome. Food is really great but having Roxana makes all the difference.

Walked here just straight off the train from the airport and I was not disappointed! A beautiful spring day - sunny - temps near 20 deg C and everyone out to enjoy it with a long leisurely lunch. Yet they took me and my son as walk-ins without question - even helped w the one piece of luggage. We had fish and chips and wings and a pint! A glorious meal and afternoon here or people watching. I suggest you drop in, drop out and do the same!

Visited there for a work function. They were very kind to make me gluten free alternatives after I learnt my dietary requirements at the event. I really appreciate it. The services were good too by keeping our glasses full. I will definitely go back to visit again when I am around the area.
