Loved their meat, like the Cote de beuf and the burgers. Really quality food, but the only down side is the slow service, even when the restaurant is empty.

I was invjted to Rowley's by my supplier... I was recommended the fish and chips platter that was awesome. I still remember the special taste of the sauce when I think of this place... I look forward to go back there!

Disagree with Hardens. I normally wouldn't do any advertising but the deal found on 'travelzoo' is a genuine bargain: £77 Chateaubriand Dinner & Wine for two at £39, save 49% on the usual bill. Everything was spotless, friendly service, fine atmosphere & great location. What a deal! Recommended.

Rowley's may seem a bit twee at first: it's on gentrified Jermyn Street (famous for its tailors) and is usually filled with an older clientele and pin-striped business-men when I stroll past and peek through the glass frontage. But it is 'tweeness' of a good sort - Rowley's is situated where the Walls meat business began in the eighteenth century. And if you're a meat eater, you simply have to try their steaks. Rowley's house speciality is their ' famous char grilled entrecote '. Choose from ~ 6 oz - £24.00 ~ 10 oz - £32.00 ~ 6 oz w/ Larder Trim - £19.50 ~ 10 oz w/ Larder Trim - £26.50 ~ 6 oz Rump - £17.50 ~ or corn-fed chicken breast for £16.50 All are served with a delicious herb and butter sauce and unlimited French Fries or a portion of chunky chips. And, if you're still hungry you can get a second 6 oz steak or chicken breast for £10 (prices as of November 2010 and subject to change). I went at lunchtime and the 6oz steak @ £24 with chunky chips and a side of green beans w

Amazing food.. The Châteaubriant was just delicious with a fine butter sauce and plenty of fries. Service was nice and staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Ideal for a date (maybe not for vegetarian) , or a business meeting.

Good place to relax over a good lunch / dinner. Not Michelin Star, 3 corse and wine for 2 about £150 but high quality food & service with an OK wine list. Must like it as been coming for 30 years.lovely and interesting decor. My latest visit in August 23 was slightly disappointing. Being on the slightly boring side we chose cod & chips again for a quick lunch, always had been just fish & chips . This time we found that new flavourings had been added to the meal which rather distracted from the natural taste of good fish and batter and should have been told prior to ordering. Do however try the Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc

Had a great night here. The restaurant is really clean and tidy. The art and decoration is very charming too. The staff are very friendly, approachable and well trained. The food was fantastic. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Top restaurant worthy of its place along London’s famous Jermyn Street.

What a hidden gem. A lovely restaurant with a great history and a focussed menu. Service was superb, and the wine list well worth a delve. We threw them a bit with some complex Martini orders which they handled well, and the steak was delicious.

My parents have been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years, and it is still a lovely treat. The scallops and the entrecote steak were delicious. Their signature roquefort butter is very good. And the sticky toffee pudding might be the best I have ever had! Overall a great place to go, and for such a central London location and quality of food it was a reasonable price. The service was also great and attentive.

Had read great things about this restaurant, so as we were staying in the same street we didn't want to miss a chance to try it out. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable when we asked them any questions and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming. It was busy but food was delivered quickly and we did not have to wait long at all. We had the rosemary baked camembert to start which was fantastic, and then the Chateaubriand which was cooked just how we like it (although if it was just for me I'd have had it slightly more pink). We even got a complimentary glass of prosecco. We will definitely return as had a fantastic experience.

A cozy family-owned trattoria with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The traditional Italian dishes were made with love and care, resulting in authentic and flavorful meals. The friendly staff and rustic charm made it a delightful spot for a relaxed dinner.

It was such a lovely night with Rowly’s. We ordered a Chateaubriand to share (with unlimited fries). It’s cooked nicely. I think the blue cheese butter sauce is a bit heavy but it matched with the beef pretty well. I’d suggest to provide a few sauces so that we could dip it into different ones to find our favourite combination. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive. I appreciated they constantly update us how long is the wait for the Chateaubriand. I think we could come back again with a group of six friends. I am sure we will have a good time here.

A lively tapas bar with a vibrant atmosphere. The small plates were bursting with flavors, and the extensive selection of wines and cocktails perfectly complemented the dishes. A great place to share delicious bites with friends.

Fantastic service first and foremost. The floor manager was on our every need. The food was second only to the service. The suggested steak to be shared by 3 was spot on. The atmosphere was a bit generic, but you don't need it to take away from the rest.

The unlimited fries are amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The filet chateaubriand is really good, with some herb butter and tomatoes on the side. They put in a small fire on your table, keeping it warm. Wine list is small and expensive for what it is. Lovely service.

Our last night in London and we visited Piccadilly Circus and stumbled across Rowley’s. It’s a charming, intimate restaurant. Great dinner and delicious dessert! Laura (our waitress) & the staff were kind and inviting.
