In a word: homemade. This restaurant had traditional British food and it tasted good. It was comfort food at its finest. I ordered the mashed potatoes with cabbage and green onions and the British sausage with sage and traditional gravy. The sausages tasted really good and flavorful and the potatoes
The food is amazing. We both ordered steak pie and Cumberland sausage, both a bit too salty for us. But the mash is marvellous! We both love the champ and classic! and love it came with the gravy.
The staffs are absolutely charming and welcoming! It feels really great to walk into a restaurant but
Lovely place! I recommend Lincolnshire sausage over the pie; it has more flavour. Additionally, talking about smash, I prefer bubble and squeak. The other one that I tried was Champ. Gravy is delicious, and the service is as well!
I wish there were more British shops of this kind. It was the most beautiful pie I’ve ever eaten! Even the mushy peas stood out from the other ones I had from chippies. I was pleasantly surprised because a proper homemade pie and mash at a popular spot in Soho is a bargain for £14 IMO (especially th
As an American, I’m no expert on what makes a great meat pie, but I absolutely loved every bite of food at this place. My wife is vegetarian, yet she was pleased with the options available to her. The options they give you to customize your meal to your preferences means you could come back again an

They have so many options for the type of mash. They very kindly let me try the liquor before I ultimately decided it wasn't to my palate. We
We were out in search of a good English meal when we found MotherMash. The food and service was excellent! We had a steak & blackheart stout pie, the chicken mushroom and bacon pie, and the Cumberland sausages with cheesy mashed potatoes. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding. From beginning
These were the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. The horseradish potatoes were so good. This food was so comfy and cozy on a cool day. Paired with a cider it was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend popping in if you're nearby and looking for something comforting.
everything we tried was amazing, both pies and sausages, the onion wine sauce was especially delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding out of this world. It was the only place that didnt have the 12.5% included service tip. Service could be improved.
Just a homemade traditional British Food, it was a tasty adventure. From cons, few tables was giggling, but we found better one. Mash was really good and hyper-filling. Free WiFi connection and water provided, maybe the glasses might not be the cleanest, but overall decent place for good price. If u
