I come back to this place after nearly two years, really surprised with their consistency for excellent food, especially the starter dishes, service is greatly improved with all new faces..? We definitely return....and very soon for my wife's birthday party in the beautiful bar downstairs. Thanks for the great service and staff's recommendation for the best dishes this time.
This place has truly exquisite food. had dinner twice there - Each of their items were brilliant however one item which was truly exquisite was "Five spice beef stew with sweet carrot and fine beans garnished with onions and herbs" . One of the best meat stews (any meat) I have ever had.
The only downside is there may be a long waiting time - about 20-25 mins on busy evening.
Very good food, great value for money and excellent service! They had a variety of vegan and gluten-free option and the “meat-eater” options were definitely the best though!
Went there for dinner. Quite crowded on a Saturday evening. Food are quite decent and up to standard. Service is great too. Worth for a try.
This is certainly not a Michelin starred restaurant but it is one of the most up-market Vietnamese restaurant in London with long establishment to provide reliable authentic ethnic food quality and moderate service at a middle-up level. We always enjoy our meals here without finding faults over the years. It is not pricey compared with its neighboring restaurants in Chiswick and Hammersmith areas. Booking is advisable as it is always busy in the evening.
I love Vietnamese food, but I have had it at the chains with amazing food but limited choice. Saigon Saigon is a place we tried accidentally...no reviews read, no recommendations by friends. Did we stumble on a gold pot or what?
The menu is extensive to the extent of being spoilt for choice (read confusing). I chose a prawn starter and chickn for mains. Loved it all. The prawn especially - grilled prawn flesh on sugarcane! The whole DIY, roll your own prawn spring roll made it fun and yumm. The husband had Mackerel and Mr. Fussy-about-fish said it was the best Mackerel he had eaten in a restaurant in the longest time. Food here seems as authentic as it can get!
Enjoyed our experience thoroughly. Staff is friendly and warm. Only negative would be being served regular green tea in the name of "Vietnamese Organic Tea". Otherwise, a must go for a first timer and must go again for someone like me.
Super tasty Vietnamese food!. We have been passing by this restaurant many times & decided to try one night. We ordered the following:
Steamed rice rolls with minced pork, black mushroom & pork sausage, Fried battered squid with rice wine, sea salt, garlic & cut chilli, Lotus root salad with sliced prawns & pork, Sea food steamed boat with spicy Sweet & sour Soup base, served with fresh vegetables & boiled vermicelli. I asked a waiter to recommend us something very Vietnamese since we were new to this cuisine. It was just right amount, perfect recommendation by the waiter - every dishes we ordered truly fresh and delicious. Very good value for money, too.
We will return very shortly!
Where you get the best ?. Unless you are limited with knowledge of Vietnamese food then please go anywhere to get your stomach filled.
I travelled to many places where the biggest Vietnamese communities like Los Angeles (Orange County) to Autralia (Cabramatta), Paris,,,,and throughout the country, eating from the street, stalls to many up-market restaurants in the big cities. I would say, Saigon Saigon is great restaurant in London with most authentic dishes that you can find . I cannot say everything is perfect here with extensive menu. My family and friends love this place since they opened and lucky we live nearby. Judge yourself with a visit rather than reading all kinds of reviews. They are not expensive!
Lovely food, polite and friendly service.
As we were starving after a long walk, we went to Vietnamese restaurant in Chiswick called "Saigon Saigon" ... We have been passing by many times & I could not wait any more since my brain told me "Vietnamese tonight!"
It was our first time to Saigon Saigon and we were really pleased with the outcome! Tasty and authentic food and very kind service. Big fan of every dish, I will come again 😊
This restaurant has been around for forever! The owner is friendly and the food was fairly fast. Appetiser of prawns wrapped around sugar cane was delicious. But I didn’t enjoy my vermicelli with chargrilled king prawns (£13.50). I’ve had much better ones elsewhere. But for Chiswick/Hammersmith area, it was fine.
Festive decor for the holiday season. You can book a separate area for a larger group also.
Wonderful service and great food. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. We were so hungry and every other restaurant was closing, but the staff here were lifesaving!! Also, best egg fried rice in London!:)

Nice atmosphere! Big dishes and immediately quick service.
The staff was super friendly and they take cards (all except American express)
Flavors where fresh and tasty.
So sad to hear Saigon Saigon has closed for good.
Having lived across the road for 8 years not a week went by without my ordering from there.
Food was always excellent - some of the best Vietnamese I’ve had! Staff were all lovely and friendly as well as attentive.
I wish the whole team the best, the area is poorer without you and I’m sure I speak for lots of people when saying you’ll be sorely missed.
It was my first time at the Saigon and I'm pleased to say I had a great experience! I had duck skewers for starter and prawn&chiken noddles as main both very delicious and fulfilling!! Staff were very welcoming and nice!! Would return!!!
Phenomenal food and friendly service! Deserving of 5 stars! I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. We were a group of 8 ranging from age 3-57 so we tried a lot of dishes and each one was just as fresh as the last. The pork #43 is possibly my favourite and the sizzling chicken #94. For starters, the spring rolls were delicious #2 as is the pork meatball with rice paper that you roll yourself #7. You basically can't go wrong so go along and enjoy the experience!
Great Vietnamese option in Chiswick. We ordered delivery via Deliveroo and it was quick and efficient. Great soup pho, satay and pork.
5 stars and this is the first place that I wish I could give 10 stars. Where to start?
The food is freshly cooked, full of balanced flavours, our party was 4 people, each chose a starter and a main, and we all shared. Everything was delicious and a wonderful discover of new flavours.
The service is outstanding, highly professional and friendly.
Having had visited other Vietnamese restaurants, I wasn't a fan, however this place has changed my mind.
I found this place by accident. The food is really good. The Staff are very friendly. They have a karaoke bar downstairs which is fun. I really enjoyed myself. I will be visiting again. Top Marks.
It was quite a lovely dinner here. We absolutely love the starters, but unfortunately not so much on the mains. I love the service the restaurant had though, especially the surprise birthday I requested. I would like to thank every waiters/waitresses and chef that helped.
I ate here last night and I cannot stop thinking about HOW AMAZING IT WAS. All the sauces are made in house — all UNPARALLELED. I’m not usually a fan of sweet and sour sauce but I asked for second helpings of theirs — that good! I had the prawn crisps, soft shell crab starter, the papaya salad and the beef pho. I’ve been eating different kinds of Asian food for the past two weeks since I’ve got a friend in town who is fan, and I can say hands down this was our favorite meal. Cannot wait to go back and try more of their menu. This is probably my only food review this year and it’s very well deserved.
The food was good, even with a revised menu due to COVID. The service felt a little disjointed, but overall, a very pleasant meal.
Very good Vietnamese restaurant. King Street has quite a few very good restaurants.
Great selection of dishes, well prepared.
Prices are fair too and the staff is friendly.
Visited several times and I was never disappointed.
