I love this place. Fond memories of a meal there for Chinese New Year with a couple of friends who introduced me to the great not-run-of-the-mill delicacies. We had chili beef and green beens with chili and garlic and a few other dishes - all good. Fab. This is not a fancy place, but if you want that, continue up the road past this one, to your peril (judging by the reviews). I'm not really sure why I'm writing this - this place is popular enough already. I just felt they need to be full at times when I can't go there. So go there yourself, but don't tell too many friends. You won't be disappointed. Oh and for those who judge a restaurant on whether the waiters smile at them - don't go. The staff are intolerant and miserable and would rather be on a beach or mountain top.

Food is great and service is quick , and place is quite clean . Portions are huge and also do take away. Gets quite crowded dinner time and they have upstair seating available . During luch is common to share tables with anyone.
Went here today with my sister, we ordered half roasted duck, wonton soup, crispy pork on rice, and pork with cashew. Our favorite are the roasted duck and the crispy pork:)) both are very tasty, well seasoned, and very tender:)

The service was pretty efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. On top of this, the place is quite reasonable as well. I recommend others to try it as well.

The barbecue meat served is soft and has a good flavour. We were happy with the dishes that we ordered. I especially enjoyed the crispy duck and were happy with our experience.

A lot of variety I must say in terms of both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. It is always bustling with people. It is a very pocket friendly place and has a good seating arrangement. The servers are friendly and the place is neat and tidy. You can try the fried aubergine or the roasted duck.

During our visit to London last month, we happened to visit this restaurant twice because of the amazing Roast duck that they offered to us while our last visit. The second time we visited this place, we ordered a Fried rice and each of us had a Hot and sour soup, which was extremely hot but not that sour.
Our overall experience was amazing and we would love to visit this place again, the next time we visit London.
I visited this restaurant on a weekend a few weeks ago to have dinner on the occasion of the birthday of my uncle. I absolutely loved the food served here, in particular, I enjoyed their roast duck. The service is also very efficient and quick and although the decoration is a little outdated, this easily takes a backseat here. It comes highly recommended by me.
This place serves amazing Chinese options at a very reasonable price. I was apprehensive at first and had a doubt about the quality of ingredients used. But as soon as my roasted duck came and i had a first bite, all my doubts were cleared. It was amazing, high on flavors and taste. The waiters do not know English and you have to point out the dish that you want. Worth a visit!

To begin with the ambience, nothing luxurious or a romantic date worthy but relaxing enough for an enjoyable evening! The service is welcoming and efficient. I came here for a dinner with an elderly relative of mine. Now the thing to understand here is that this is not an easy task, since older people do not like to visit new places. This restaurant, however, was a delightful experience. They made us feel very welcome and they made sure that we were quite comfortable in the restaurant. We went without any prior booking and though they were really busy that day, we were accommodated within a couple of minutes of our arrival. This is my most favorite restaurant serving amazing and authentic Chinese food and i am going regularly to this place for past ten years now. I never write reviews but i was compelled to write one as i read some negative reviews on this site. The food has always been consistent with flavors and appetizing. Service can sometimes be a hit and sometimes miss depending on the crowd.
The roast duck that this place serves is worth mentioning and quite an extraordinary dish in itself. This dish is appealing and appetizing. Very high on flavors and taste, cooked to perfection. Service as well is prompt and pleasing. I would recommend this place to every one especially for their duck!

Great Chinese duck rice. Better than the ones I had in singapore. Saw some reviews on arrogant staffs. Didn't feel that way. We exchanged in English and staff was quick to place order and food delivered. Its a busy place.
Wow! The food here was very delicious. The presentation great, the speed was fast, and the flavor was simply dynamite! If that weren't enough, our waiter, Chi Wang, was so pleasant to deal with. I will search this place out as a destination on my next London trip!

It’s so popular and busy that many dishes were sold out! Will not come here during the school holiday next time. Roasted duck and pan fried vegetable with garlic sauce are nice. Chicken is a bit dry. Noodle is ok. Very reasonable price. Recommended this restaurant.

I have to say this was the best-fried noodle I tasted so far in the UK. It was crispy and slightly soft outside; the prawns and veggies were fresh and tasty. And the sauce on the top was so good, not too thick nor too thin, just the right condensed. The price was so reasonable too, definitely better than those in China Town.
Great food, good service. Lobster with ginger and scallion is really nice. The stir fry pork chop with spicy salt is good too.
A nice Chinese eatery with reasonable prices and lovely Chinese staff. We were in a rush and had a short at noodles, fried rice, chicken and eggplant. It was all very decent. The broccoli was probably a bit undercooked and overall food slightly bland to our taste. A satisfactory experience

One of the best Chinese restaurant in London and in a good location right next to Queensway station. Their Salt and Pepper dishes were really good! They definitely do the best Salt and Pepper Soft Shell Crabs, was perfectly fried with nice flavours. The other recommended dishes are the Lobsters with Ginger and Spring Onions with Noodles. Perfectly cooked to perfection and the lobsters were fresh and meaty. Also their Roast Duck is a must get whenever you come here it’s simply the best, packed with lots of flavours. Customer service was great too. Prices were decent too not as expensive as others. Only one problem was that the toilets are located in the basement which isn’t as convenient. Other than that it is highly recommended! This place get very busy especially over the weekend so make sure you book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
This was our first time trying New Fortune Cookie. It is right outside Queensway station and the queue for walk ins was really long. Glad we booked in advance. Highlights include the lobster noodles (get extra noodles), the roast duck was a favourite and roast chicken also good. Salted egg prawns is something we haven’t had for a while and the steamed fish was also ok. All goes well with vegetables and tofu. Also recommend the fish maw soup. Would recommend for dinner over other spots in Queensway.
We had lunch yesterday. Arrived at 12 noon and no need to queue. We are served at the first floor. We ordered chai Siu with rice, spicy pork ribs, spicy squid, crab meat in soup, fried beef with noodles. They are all tasty and freshly made. The only thing not good is long waiting time for food to come.
Great food and service! I haven't tried chinese restaurant for a year because I'm worried about the bad service. This restaurant gave me a fabulous experience on both food taste and service. Roast duck is really delicious, I missed this taste for a long time, finally got it! I also tried beef ho-fun and pig fat-end, both are great!
Amazing food!!! Some of the best fried rice I've had. Tasted like the wok 😋 the deep fried pig intestines were delicious. They were crispy on the outside, melted in your mouth on the inside, and came with hoisin and pickled mustard greens which perfectly cut through the fattiness of the meat. The corn and crab soup was also delicious - so much crab meat!! Big chunks of it. Loved that they had lychee for dessert 😋 highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Chinese food in london!! Much better than most of what's in Chinatown
We love the food there! Always a good number of Chinese people there, a good indicator of the quality of dishes offered, mainly Cantonese. We have been there many times, also had birthday celebrations upstairs. Highly recommended.
Nice food and good taste with reasonable price. This is our first time here and we really appreciate the food and service. I like the fortune cookies, it's a creative thing.
