This is a Bloomsbury-ite favourite and a personal one as the Algerian owners indulge me in a little Arabic conversation.
The standard of customer service is best illustrated by an anecdote of my first visit, with my Dad, on the day I moved into university: we ordered, sat and had our food delivered. We suddenly realised they didn't take card and we didn't have cash or time, but the owner was so relaxed and said his mother taught him never to refuse anyone food - he told us to come back another day and pay. We could barely believe the kindness and of course we kept to our word.
I'm sure it's this goodness of heart which means the queue at lunchtime is out the door, but either side of the rush and you'll find a table and the clientele are really anyone and everyone.
The wraps are easily most popular - there are plenty of carnivore and vegetarian options all filled with salad, tahini and chili sauce. I'd recommend the falafel Lebanese wrap for first timers - guaranteed you'll want to come back and try more. There are also big plates of mezze or meat based mains which are probably second-most popular, and a wide selection of soft drinks in the fridge and hot coffees and teas.
The value here is exceptional - around £4 for a huge wrap so although this isn't the best Middle Eastern food I've had this side of the Mediterranean, it's fantastic value for money and a Bloomsbury staple, handy for houmous-based emergencies.
Nice cafe serving various foods.
Went there several times for brunch/lunch. We tried their falafel wrap, halal English breakfast, lamb rice salad, etc. Overall, the food was tasty. Outdoor seating has nice atmosphere too as the area is not too crowded.
Highly recommend their Lamb Kofta with their handmade Morroco wrap. The falafel is also very good too!
A 13 min walk from Kings Cross station, it is a nice corner resturaunt with indoor and outdoor dining. The chef is very welcoming, cheerful and even gave us a piece of falafel that was so soft inside yet crunchy exterior.
The wraps are heated up in a panini press to give it a nice soft crunch. Balanced with fresh lettuce n tomato filling and spice that doesn't overpower the overall falafel wrap.
The chicken samosa is very strong in flavor in comparison but gets cold fast, recommend if indoor or ready to eat.
Sooo yummy and it's nice cuz it's on a fairly quiet street

This was one of the nicest experiences of lunching in the area! I am not even a fan of falafel but it tastes REALLY good here, not dry, delicious and very substantially sized wrap. The cafe is not big but there’s seating to enjoy your lunch, the prices are great and the service was outstanding!
Tasty and healthy Moroccan falafel wrap at a low price. Staff is courteous. The vibe is nice too. They had good English pop songs playing when I was there. Would recommend this place.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at "The King of Falafel ," and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere instantly set the stage for a delightful meal. The star of the show, of course, was the falafel itself. Crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside, it was clear that these falafel balls were made with care and expertise. The combination of herbs and spices used in the recipe created a flavor explosion in every bite, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight.
Wow, wow wow! I have never experienced a service so warm and inviting! The Falafel was easily the best I've ever had, and me and my friends were treated sooo nicely. I went back there at least four times during my London stay, I can especially recommebd the Samosas as a breakfast. And you must try the green spinach wrap, it's incredible.
One of the best customer service and generosity I have ever recieved.
Very generous with food and served much more than what I had paid for. Quality was top notch too. No wonder this place has a great ranking.
Delicious food and very friendly service. Thank u Feyz and Rabih! Aisha & Muhammet ;)
The chicken samosa was amazing. It wasn’t too oily and had the perfect balance of fillings and taste.
The falafels were freshly made and served hot and crispy. Would recommend 10/10
