We’ve booked the sushi bar, and it was great looking at the chef doing the fresh sushi in front of you. The food are truly amazing, very fresh and authentic. The ume wine is nice as well. Great services from staffs. Definitely recommend Chisou to you all, and revisiting for sure!
I absolutely love this restaurant. The service and atmosphere are great - it’s a lively place and the servers are attentive without being pushy. The sushi is so fresh and the chef at the sushi bar is incredible. They have a great selection of sake and I always leave wanting more. I love their signature salad with spinach/prawns and the fatty tuna is unreal!

Quality sushi in a nice, intimate setting. However, I don't think it is worth the price, as the nigiri wasn't a stand-out special for how much it was (21p for 6 pieces). Pretty solid for Japanese food though in a popular area.
Great place to have lunch, sat at the bar, service was quick and the chefs prepared the food in front of us.
Tonkatsu was delicious, super crispy and tender. Nigiri we’re delicious and fresh, sushi roll and eggs plant were also tasty. Service was good and staff were attentive.
Overall we enjoyed our dinner here and we would return for lunch/dinner.
We had a super nice dinner in this cozy Japanese restaurant. The sushi was very good and fresh, the udon tasty and the steak super tender. Service was great and our waiter was very caring. Will definitely go back!
Great spot for a lunch (or dinner). Third time there. Was early so it started quiet then got busy (on a Monday). Food is high quality. Great prep and fabulous to have a native Japanese speaker on service. Will return. Made a video for fun!!
This came recommended and was booked by our daughter and didn’t disappoint at all when comes to the sushi. The lamb chops special didn’t do justice though. Nigiri mix was amazing.
We had an amazing experience at Chisou. My parents wanted authentic Japanese food for dinner, so I took them here and they said this was the best meal they had during their visit to London!
The supervisor on duty, Rong Cheng, took such great care of us, and he was so kind, warm and friendly! The service by Elijah was also outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and recommended us impeccable dishes that paired so well with the most umami warm sake!
I highly recommend these items that we ordered: Aburi Sake Toro Truffle (seared salmon belly), Sugoi Maki, Saikyo (black cod), Nasu Dengaku (fried aubergine), thinly sliced flounder from their Autumn Winter menu, and Shusen Junmai warm sake.
One of the best Japanese restaurants on London that will definitely satisfy your hunger! We recommend the blue fin fattiest tuna nigiri which we thought was their highlight dish! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very authentic with the minimalistic Japanese style design with wooden furniture decor. The service is also very attentive. Many thanks for having us!
