The Coal Shed - London - Photo album

Ate here recently and was pretty impressed. It was a weekday evening and pretty quiet overall; however, I did enjoy the food. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The veg was extremely flavourful, and roasties deep dried and interesting. The service was spot on. The waiter was very atte
Positive: Sunday roast for two was lovely, good size portion, and the steak was medium rare as we asked. Onion rings were also nice. Negative: Our roast was served with a tiny portion of gravy. When we asked for more, the waiter failed to let us know that they charge extra £3. Some of the red wines
A 10/10 experience. Friendly staff complimented by delicious food and wine. Great ambience and cool decor. We had monkfish & steak, both superb 👌
Since we have visited the Coal shed in Brighton, we thought we would give the London one a try for a Valentine’s Day treat. The price was very reasonable comparing to other high end venues in London and the menu looked fantastic. The interior of the restaurant is really lovely and the staff is reall
The food was good the service was even better. Took mum for Mother’s Day before heading out for the day. We had the oysters, prawns, pork belly and the “lobster roll (which was crayfish instead of lobster) to start - all lovely especially the prawns. Then shared the sea bass with some roast potatoes
We had a very good meal at this restaurant last night. The staff were top class. Our table was expertly looked after by a lady from Fruili, NE Italy. She had an excellent knowledge of wines. Service was swift and efficient. Food generally very good although cheese course was poor. Dull selection all
Was served by Kay and Jay, who delivered by far the best service!!! They really made the whole experience special and personalised. I loved the atmosphere, perfect place for a date. Thank you! Can’t wait for next time !
A great spot close to the sights in and around London Bridge. The venue was warm and inviting with a tasteful decor with a subtle industrial feel. The food was good although there was a bit of a delay in being served between my friends food arriving and my own. The cocktails were delicious however
We had an excellent experience at The Coal Shed. The staff is very welcoming, the food fantastic, the wine list superb, and the ambiance incredible. After dinner, wander outside to view Tower Bridge at night. A visit to The Coal Shed is worth the trip from anywhere. We'll be back.
A very pleasant lunch stop on a very warm day. We sat outside and ate from the set menu (£20 for 2 courses, £24 for 3) I had the Trout Tartare for starter, which was lovely, although it lacked something, but I'm not sure what! My wife had the Caesar Salad which was excellent. We both had the Steak B
I've travelled the world, eaten different cuisines but I don't think anything compares to the meal I had here. I am one for enjoying dinner out and myself and my boyfriend were out to celebrate my birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint. The share porterhouse was absolutely spot on and the p
Nice atmosphere and friendly staffs. The beef tartar tasted better than it looks. We ordered one kilogram of prime rib and asked to be cooked to medium rare. Unfortunately, it took a long time for the main to arrive. The prime rib was flavoursome but on the over cooked side. We arrived at the restau
Enjoyed the sunday roast but I must say the dessert was the best for me. The truffle mac & cheese was great
An excellent restaurant near Tower Bridge. They specialise in Roasted meats and Steaks but also have a fairly good selection of seafood. We visited on a BYOB night however they do have a decent Wine Menu. The staff must be commended as they were all excellent being friendly, helpful and efficient. S
One of the best meat places I've been in London. Fancy place, so be ware it's a little on the expensive side. Friendly staff, not crowded, excellent choice of cuts and good wine listed. I'll come back
