Small, traditional Italian restaurant in a great location; on a quiet side street between a couple of lovely pubs.
I came here on my own as I wanted a relatively quick meal but not ‘fast food’. Thankfully I wasn’t disappointed; most definitely quality food in a nice environment.
My prosciutto and rucola pizza was very good, as was the house red wine. Service was also efficient and friendly. I will most definitely return, but next time with friends.

Busy place we were told in advance that there might be a bit of await for our food, however, the wait was not long at all. My husband knocked his wine over and the waiter cleaned the table quickly and gave him another red wine as a replacement which we didn’t expect. Food was good and the staff friendly.

Good restaurant with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Food is well cooked and presented. I had Carbonara which was delicious.

Warm, friendly service. I dined solo and had the carbonara, which was perfect! And the house wine which went with it really well. It's such a nice and wholesome place, unpretentious (which is getting harder hard to come by!) and lovely atmosphere. I saw a regular come in and how the staff treated her and talked about her after, you can tell they really value their customers. Can't wait to return, and will definitely bring more people along next time!

Friendly and helpful staff. Generous-sized portions. Just be aware they don't close very late

It was a good dinner, the Parmigiana was delicious. Expect some warm homemade style Italian food.

My family and I visited Cosmoba for a birthday and it was everything we had hoped for and more! The service was delightful and the food was amazing. There were great choices for the children and the wine selection was incredible. Hats off to the owner, Umberto, who was super friendly and overall just extremely welcoming. We spoke for a while about the wine and his knowledge was really impressive. Will definitely be coming back very very soon!

Recommend this place 100% if you want a great Italian meal with out all the pomp . Really good people and service. Very rare that find Zabaione on any Italian menu 👍

Relaxing atmosphere with delicious Italian food! Lasagna was great, as was the wine and the service.

Still our favourite Italian restaurant in London! We love coming back here to have an authentic experience and enjoy homemade comforting Italian food. The staff are always friendly and very welcoming! The owner Umberto is the most humble restaurant owner ever and loves having chats about Italy! I can’t stop thinking about how good that pasta was. I ordered the carbonara (with no cream of course) and my friend has their usual of chicken Milanese with spaghetti which I’m always jealous of because it smells and look amazing! Perfect spot to just chill and enjoy some good quality food! They also do great wines for those interested in having some more niche Italian finds!

Great food and atmosphere. Street is very beautiful and cozy.

A traditional Italian that has stayed consistent for years. It's not the same as some of the more modern vibrant places but you get exactly what you want at a fair price. A little cold inside but so are many places at the moment.

Tucked just off Southampton Row. As we struggled to find it. Walked passed 3 times. 😏 But what a find. Amazing friendly team. Great service lovely restaurant and The food was fantastic. We’ll be back.

Wonderful evening. Thanks to everbody at the Cosmoba for a wonerful evening again. My God Daughter and I had a excellent meal, the ambience was lovely and the management and staff were 1st class. Its absoluely amazing that in all the years I have visited Cosmoba, I have never had cause to regret my visit. The staff are attentive without being pushy and make you feel like family.
Rosalind

I will never return there again. Terrible place: we could not even finish our meal. I do not know if in Italy serve lamb cutlets with fried potatoes, but even if they do so, this time both were so greasy that the layer of fat covered the whole plate (from the cutlet or potato it was - I do not know). Also I have to mention dirty wine glasses and dining room itself (we were placed actually in somewhat like narrow corridor behind the staircase to the restrooms, where we felt ourselves like in a shoebox) - no ambience, no party atmosphere whatsoever. And a lot of festal afterwards.

Smile..

Very good service, friendly staff and fantastic tiramisu.
Frown..

The food is hit and miss. As long as you know what to order, you should have a good time.
Will I return?

Will definitely be back for the tiramisu, not so much for the food.
