Wedding reception there was handled beautifully. Food was excellent, all agreed. Staff helpful, friendly and attentive. Set over 4 floors. The top is a roof terrace, below that a large dining room, a pub in the ground floor and a small nightclub in the basement. Alas the building is not accessibl
Brilliantly executed food, but without overpowering poshness. Very attentive service, definitely worth extra 12% service charge. Duck egg is a star, with so many textures and tastes, but overshadowed by rhubarb's souffle :)
This is a review for the restaurant upstairs. We went for our anniversary dinner on a Saturday night. It was very quiet and relaxed in Farringdon early Saturday evening as you'd expect with the area, which lended to an intimate, attentive evening. The staff were very professional and courteous and t
Food here is not only great value but very tasty!
Exceptional service and food. Oh my god this place is amazeballs
Really excellent lunch today in the restaurant. Tasty food with interesting textures and ingredients perfectly cooked and beautifully displayed. Fantastic value set meal menu for £19.50 for 2 courses. Decor mature and refreshing with plenty of space between tables. Unobtrusive and attentive service
Staff are amazingly polite and service is great. Lovely food and great set menu for dinner. The egg starter was interesting to try. The seabass was lovely and sticky toffee was really yummy too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. You definitely need to get the sides with the meal if you're a little bit
One of my favourite restaurants in London. The excellent menu is frequently changed in subtle ways which makes regular visits worthwhile, and the wine list superb. Another highlight is the rooftop bar in the summer. The warm friendly staff complete the superb experience. Most highly recommended!
The service was the best we've ever had in London. The venue is very classy & the food delicious. The hosts the Nicoli's looked after us very well. The decor is fabulous & there are also some great art works. We will come regularly
We recently had our wedding reception here. Organising a wedding is always a nerve-racking experience, but when we met with the events manager to make the arrangements she went through everything with us and was very professional. We both felt so relieved afterwards that we were in good hands. It wa
The food was very good - I had the mackerel to start followed by the salmon. Both were perfectly cooked and the accompanying vegetables had some subtle but interesting flavours. I had the Bakewell tart for desert which was fine if uninspired. The room was nice enough - classic heritage London dining
Was here for drinks with a small group on the ground floor. Lovely classy setting and a very creative selection of drinks available on the menu. There is a piano and I hear there are live performances on some days (though not on the day when I went). Would probably come back again to try the food ne
I booked this restaurant for my Dads birthday, and I'm so glad we did!! The atmosphere was lively and fun, the portions of food were generous but also delicious and special, and the staff were amazing. The staff were the ones who really made the night, as they pulled out all the stops to ensure my D
We hired out the downstairs bar for a work event.....pretty dark and basementy so I guess it ticked the box. They had cool craft cans of beer where the ring pool took the whole top off! The staff were pretty helpful even though they hadn't had any sunlight. Nice! Good spot!
