This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! The food was incredibly tasty, and we especially enjoyed the shared plates that allowed us to sample a bit of everything. The flavors were outstanding. We tried the Persian Bread, Saffron Rice, The Dip Platter, The Doogh, The Lamb Shank, and the Koobideh. We also tried a shared a Mixed Grill Platter. Every dish was delightful; the meat was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, making it some of the best lamb I've ever had. The salads were wonderfully fresh, and the bread was simply divine. Everything was beautifully presented, and the staff was exceptional.

Great food but very plain. Didn't taste any flavour. I will have to return and try something else . The bread was really nice and fresh! Chicken cooked perfectly but needs some salt and spices.

I have been there for the first time. Sadaf is a lovely place to eat. I had to wait for few minutes because there were people already waiting in queue. Anyway, it was worth waiting. I wanted to try Chelo Kebabs with few more dishes which I did and wow i was chummeshwari💋 food. Two staff members, Hameed and Muhammad looked after us during my stay. It was grand. The atmosphere, the feel, the mood before & after was remained great. Thank you Sadaf.

Sadaf Gardens is a Persian restaurant located on High Street Kensington in London. As soon as you step inside, you are transported to a different world, with the beautifully decorated interior and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has an impressive range of Persian dishes on the menu, and the quality of the food is second to none. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive at Sadaf Gardens is the stunning decor. The walls are adorned with intricate patterns and beautiful artwork, and the lighting is soft and atmospheric. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming feel, and you can't help but feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. The menu at Sadaf Gardens is extensive, with a wide range of Persian dishes to choose from. The starters include classic dishes such as hummus and baba ganoush, as well as more unusual options such as kashk-e-bademjan, which is a creamy aubergine dip topped with crispy onions. The mains are equally impressive, with options ranging from stews and grilled meats to vegetarian dishes such as sabzi polo, which is a herby rice dish served with grilled vegetables. One of the standout dishes at Sadaf Gardens is the kebab koobideh, which is a grilled skewer of seasoned ground beef or lamb that is incredibly juicy and flavourful. It's served with saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, and fresh herbs, and is a real crowd-pleaser. Another highlight is the mixed grill, which includes a selection of grilled meats and is perfect for sharing. The service at Sadaf Gardens is excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant is also very accommodating to dietary requirements, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available. The prices at Sadaf Gardens are reasonable for the quality of the food and the location, and the portion sizes are generous. The restaurant also offers a set menu, which is excellent value for money and allows you to try a range of dishes. Overall, if you're looking for a fantastic Persian dining experience in London, Sadaf Gardens is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.

Randomly decided to go here and was the best decision we made. Top notch persian food! Highly recommend the kebabs, biryani and make sure to try the naan which they make on the spot. They were also very baby friendly and staff were helpful.

Gem of a restaurant in London!.. we enjoyed the food and especially the warm nans from the tandoor!.. everything was fresh and delicious and service was great!.. one star less as it was a Saturday and it was super busy and loud!.. but not the restaurants fault if it’s so popular😉

One of the good Persian restaurant around. Always busy and they always try their best to get you a table after 10-15mins wait. The food is very good. Love their special naan, mirza ghazemi could be better and the mince lamb/chicken kobideh both very tasty and less Salty than other restaurants, loved it here. Service was good too. Will definitely be back and recommend it.

Went here for dinner last night. I live very close to it so have been a couple of times. Firstly the food - amazing Persian food really. I would recommend the spicy or normal koobideh as well as any of their warm starters with the bread. The bread is so so good and comes out fresh and hot! Every time I’ve ordered it in I’ve regretted it as it’s not good cold. The ambiance is nice too with garden vibes. Only downside is the staff are not attentive - in the sense that they have to prompted for everything (bill, order, drinks etc). Sitting outside in the summer is so nice!

Excellent food, though portions were too big, better to just order the main dish unless you are incredibly hungry. The rice was beautifully prepared. The service was efficient but just a bit casual. The flatbread was made individually for each order. A very nice restaurant.

It’s been a while since I’ve been at the game, but there’s no rest for the wicked. I fancied Persian and stumbled across Sadaf. The reviews looked promising, so I took the risk. The staff were quite friendly and settled us swiftly. The aesthetic and decor had a modern touch, which was nice. As tradition states, we got the koobideh with rice and naan, some spicy wings, lamb chops and chicken biryani. The koobideh was absolutely tremendous - soft and succulent, packed with flavour and each bite felt divine. The rice was beautifully cooked and was paired superbly with the pickled cabbage! A twist from the usual salad. The naan was super fresh and tasty, however became firm instantaneously due to its thin nature - this was a shame. The lamb chops were nice, but a little firm for my liking - I wouldn’t be getting them again. The spicy wings were packed with flavour and melted in my mouth. The chicken biryani was very interesting, with the grilled courgettes and tomatoes, and caramelised onions within - that was wholesome foods with juicy chicken. I was pretty impressed, especially as there was consistency between the 2 visits. If I’m around Kensington, I’d certainly lean towards visiting Sadaf for authentic and quality Persian cuisine. 8/10.
