The foodd and staff were excellent, went there for my 69th birthday bash, my wife said she would pay for my two sisters and my neighbour with my wife included five of us in total, I had three bottles of lager my wife had two my neighbour had one I belief,, one of my sisters had a bottle of water the other had a spirit, , plus paid for two the shock my wife paid the bill secretly as not to involve my sisters , she did not check it until we got home , on it were four Jack Daniels , Four bottles of coke, , one Fanta And a Sprite, plus she also paid for two children , oh and a Latte. What the hell !! did she pay someone else's bill. Phoned up to complain but no response as yet four days later.
Will not be going there again.
Having been to a similar themed restaurant in Angel, London a while a ago, it was time to feast on some MEAT.
This is a nice size restaurant as the bigger places in London are not that enjoyable as the meat sometimes arrive cold and don't come round that often but this restaurant had a nice party feel.
Nice selection of meat where 4/10 I really liked while the others were bland/overcooked or wasn't to my liking.
I have to say the salad bar was disappointing where i struggled to put much on the plate.
Overall, the meat had a good selection, a bit inconsistent where the different round of meats were cooked differently, either too much or not seasoned enough. Good place to have a party but wouldn't go there often as it's very loud and the whole restaurant meat theme can get a little boring after a while.
My last experience at the new branch. I was at the new branch lately(in whetstone) much easier to get then the one in finchley. You better book in advance as they are full every night. The food was just as good as the finchley branch the service was 10 out of 10 we couldn't breath afterwards haha. Recommending this restaurant to everyone I know why? Because it's quality and easy there is no menu just start eating as soon as you arrive. It is definitely the best BBQ restaurant that I have been in London. Worth trying xx
Authentic.Well worth the trip.. The N12/ Mill branch is where we went. Tomorrow we visit the N.20 branch.
It seems authentic with waiters coming to the table with skewers of the various (high quality) meats, sausages etc. Excellent salad bar. and a great athmosphere.

Of course it is not quite like eating in Rio where you would get a much wider range of meats. Even in London I've paid £60 for a wider choice but this is in no way a criticism.
A very good place to go with a group or even on your own!
Don't worry - horse is NOT on the menu!. I would never have thought a restaurant in a riding stables would be any good but we had a great evening. the salad bar is well stocked (but with no potato salad for some reason). We're hardly overflowing with churrascaria in London, so i guess i'm looking at this from a "what else is there" view point, but the meat was hot, free flowing and well seasoned. my only complaint is that they don't serve pork for some reason - and beef sausages don't really cut it with me!
El Vaquero is located on the High Street with ample parking. Step free access, entering from the street level. Transport links are excellent, with local buses situated just outside. The restaurant is a good size. The decor is nice. The food is definitely for meat eaters. This is a buffet style service. You grab your salad & vegetables sit at the table, and the meat comes on skewers with garlic bread and chips. The meat choices are beef, lamb & chicken. All the meats are seasoned well with a variety of marinades. You can choose how you want your beef & lamb cooked. Excellent value for money as you can eat as much as you want. This place is family-friendly. The pricing is very reasonable considering the amount of food & quality. Overall, it was an excellent night out.
Brilliant experience! Great service, high quality meat (highlights were fillet steak, teriyaki chicken, ribeye) and amazing salad bar. Also served grilled pineapple and marshmallow at the end which was yummy! We were well looked after by the staff and the atmosphere was vibrant.
Food was fresh they keep serving food. Most important part is staff are very kind and very helpful. They have very good vibes and very positive. I well recommend this restaurant to everyone.

You will definitely leave this restaurant full. Do good good . Almost any type of meat served from time to time by waiters. Quite large buffet and tasty drinks.
Myself and my partner are here last night and had a wonderful time. Noah, our server, was FANTASTIC. They were incredibly busy but she made sure we knew how everything worked and was lovely. We were asked how we liked our steak which was cooked beautifully. We were also asked mid way what we liked and if we wanted anything specific bought round. When we’ve been to other restaurants with this style of serving it’s felt like they bring round the cheaper meats more regularly and hold off on the fillet steak but not here. We also loved the free extra dessert at the end. We will definitely be coming back!
I took off a star for atmosphere just because of where our table was. We were in the middle of the room and with people getting up to go to the buffet and staff varying round the meats etc it just felt a tad intrusive.
Outstanding food, the service was amazing . Young lady serving us really was a pleasure. Cocktails are 10/10!!

It's only been my 4th time going to El Vaquero, and it was again another very enjoyable evening.
If you like meats,it's absolutely amazing. Great salad bar. Great service and atmosphere. Incredible food that comes to the table with different choices and the hot pineapple and the hot lage marshmallow to finish a great evening.
The meat all-you-can-eat is amazing. Lots of different types of meat and their salad bar is truly delicious. Definitely come away feeling stuffed after charred pineapple and a giant marshmallow. Definitely recommend and warrants another visit.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant in the past few months and I couldn't recommend it any higher.
First and most importantly, the food is amazing! In the rodizio style there are various flavours of different meats plus selections of more unusual dishes like chicken heart.
The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure your visit is as pleasurable as possible.
Good selection of beef, lamb and chicken grill. Nice fruity white and red wine. Attentive and helpful staff. Salad bar is very limited. I felt they were rushing us to leave. Going to such restaurants is about socialising and having fun, I would have enjoyed it if they didn’t rush us.
The meat was amazing, everything we tasted was very tasty. A bit too much chicken options would like a bit more steak. Salad buffet could be better, but again everything was tasty. Very good service but a bit noisy inside.A great option if you are hungry

I used to work in the area and attend this branch and I must say I find it difficult to fault!
The team atmosphere and chef from the back are always happy and smiling and just make me happy to be a part of the evening!

Went here for food and cannot say enough about it. Food is excellent, lots of options and always offered when needed. The staff were all very friendly, checking on us often and couldn't do enough for you. We had the all you eat and you can't knock that level of food at that price. Would go back anytime ! Thankyou.

Amazing food. It was top notch. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. I 100% recommend.
Attended an event of about 100 people on Thursday 18 May. The staff coped amazingly well with such a large number and nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent food and it kept coming, so go hungry! All You Can Eat Salad bar And Hot Vegetable Buffet - great variety and all delicious and catered for vegetarians as well. Although I ordered the meat option, the Seabass and Salmon was much complimented on by those who had ordered it on my table. Would highly recommend.
