It was home away from home!!! Found them just when I had this craving for good Indian food. They served Authentic Indian food. The gravies were rich and tasty. The chutneys with papadams were surprisingly good. I never found this beer back home but it was nice. Experience their butter chicken for sure.

Great little find in SE1 close to London Bridge and Borough Market. Popped in for lunch and chose the Tiffin Lunch. Great value and well presented. Friendly staff, prompt and courteous service. Will definitely visit again. Partner had railyway lamb curry and it was delicious.  They stock the Goa Gluten Free Beer too, my partner was happy as he has a gluten allergy.  Will defintely be going back with friends next time.

Good food And a good Indian restaurant. A perfect way to celebrate national curry week. The service was a bit slow but the head waiter was a gentlemen throughout and looked after us. Great flavours and depths with the curries and spices

Found this place thanks to Zomato - right around the corner from our accommodation near London Bridge tube station. We initially thought the prices were a little high - but serving sizes were pretty generous and the food was really top notch authentic. Service was fast and efficient too. Definitely recommend this place if you like good quality Indian food.

Went for a all alone dinner.since was not so hungry ordered a chicken keema naan and papadums ( coz they were kerala style papads).. Naans were great, did not imagine a full basket of papadums along wid three glorious chutneys .. Good place, packed with britishers but still desi.. Special marks to the chutneys!!

A good place for a group of friends to enjoy a nice indian meal which is good value (they also accept taste card). As a large group, sometimes the service isn't great but this place had no problem catering for the 8 of us. All meals were good, as were the beers and wines on offer.

Enjoyed a great quality dinner with a friend. A good atmosphere in the restaurant and good service and attention from the waiters.
The food was great and we enjoyed 2 tasty curry dishes, chicken and lamb with a decent priced bottle of wine.
Reasonable price of about 60 pounds. After finishing we finished a drink outside but had our glasses topped up by the friendly manager.
Highly recommended.

The restaurant describes itself on their website as urban fine dining - a very loose term. Inside there are elements of luxury but overall it feels a little cold, and cheap, dare i say it.

Being of Pakistani heritage it's very hard to find an authentic curry joint in the UK. Est. India is not authentic, however the food is generally decent. My favourite dish has been Chicken Jalfrezi with some plain naan. The papadoms or papdi chaat are nice as a light starter. I only visit with work colleagues who are of non-Indian/ non-Pakistani descent, who all seem to like the food. I think the target audience has been catered for well.

Service has been hit and miss at times. Prices are reasonable for the area and the overall restaurant is has a nice decor.

We were originally going to Mango, but it was full so they took us to their sister restaurant, Est. India. The food was of good quality and I definitely recommend a visit. We had poppadoms as a warm up, followed by a mixed plater of naan, lamb chops, lamb kebab and 2 types of chicken. For main I had chicken mirch, which was mild but had a peppery spice to it. The food was a good standard, tasty Indian. We also shared a bottle of wine between 3, so at less than £30 each, price wasn't too bad.

Hidden, down the back streets around London Bridge (the underdeveloped, run down part) a new Indian restaurant has just opened up called Est. India. The new venture opened on the 4th November with executive chef, Singh in the kitchen. Singh has 42 years of experience in five star hotels such as the Taj Hotel and Oberoi Group. Inspiration for his menu has been taken from traditional Indian Street food and the cafes that line the streets of India - but still retaining traditional British curry house classics, such as chicken tikka masala.

The restaurant describes itself on their website as urban fine dining - a very loose term. Inside there are elements of luxury but overall it feels a little cold, and cheap, dare i say it. The wooden dining chairs are hideous, yet the booths are cosy and look great. Walls are bare and begging for some traditional Indian art. The outside chairs which are metal, green and very striking need to be brought inside replacing the wooden ones - it would immediately make the dining room look more inviting. We started our meal with the usual poppadoms, mango chutney, tomato chutney and a delectable pumpkin chutney - all of which were very good.

I really loved the selection of food on the menu here, it has all the traditional Indian dishes i love, yet more well known dishes for those who don't want to experiment too much. After decimating the poppadoms we ordered a selection of small plates. Papri chaat which is a simple mix of puffed rice, onions, chilli, coriander, yoghurt and tamarind sauce. For such a simple dish, you'll be surprised to know it’s often not assembled together very well, with restaurants getting the ingredient ratio wrong, making it watery. Est.India have it spot on. The perfect amounts of each ingredient, not too watery and very fresh. My dining companion, who had never taken alike to papri chaat fell in love with this dish.

Stuffed paneer, which was stuffed with a raisin mix and pan seared had lots of potential. It tasted good, and so did the dollop of coriander sauce, but sadly it was a little overcooked and very rubbery, losing its juiciness. I love paneer so much, its so versatile but overcooking this humble cheese is easier than you'd think. When it comes to cooking paneer, Trishna still leads the way.

Of the small plates the best dish was keema pav. A minced lamb dish with peas. The mince had been cooked in a broth of indian spices and carried an unbelievable amount of the flavour. The mince was very well cooked and finely chopped giving it a lovely texture. I had the same dish at a newly opened Indian restaurant in Clapham recently and it was awful - they could learn a thing or two from Est. India. A strange addition of a toasted burger bun was on the side, though surprisingly coating half a bun in the delicious keema pav mixture really worked. A star of a dish.

One of our favourite restaurants during our stay in London, conveniently located near our hotel. We had both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The ambience was pleasant, food was amazing and service was great . Overall nice experience. This restaurant is recommended.

Very good Indian cuisine. Service was nice but the atmosphere was kind of special: there were no other customers apart from us, and the waiters were "going around in circles". Sometimes, we felt like we were being waited on for the bill. Too bad because it's a beautiful place.

We moved to UK recently and haven’t been able to eat really good Naans here. But, this place had the most soft and amazing naan I’ve had so far! We paired it with the Butter Paneer masala and ordered Tandoori Broccoli. Overall, the food felt like home.. The atmosphere in this restaurant was just the icing on cake! People bonded over delicious curries and rotis with lively chatter and banter all sides! The service was also great! And oh special mention and applause for the tamarind and mint chutney we received with tandoori broccoli 😘

While exploring London on our vacation, we stumbled upon this charming Indian eatery downtown. Our taste buds relished the Bendi and Roti, complemented by a soothing cup of Chai. The food was tasty, and the ambiance enhanced our dining experience. Although there was a minor issue with one of the baby high chair harnesses, it didn't detract from our memorable culinary adventure in London! 🍽️🇬🇧

Wonderful spot for authentic Indian food. Customer service is top-notch, they accommodated us very graciously when we needed lunch but they were closing for mid-afternoon in 45 minutes. Excellent menu choices, food was presented beautifully, and our meals were delicious and flavorful. We ate Butter Chicken, Mushroom Rice, Aloo Gobi, and Naan, and loved all of it. Highly recommend!

We went there to dine in on a Sunday night, when none of the restaurants of our choice and close to us were open. Eat.India welcomed us at 8:40pm, were courteous, and the food ordered came out quickly. Delicious food, good portions, and prices just like any other Indian restaurants in the area. I appreciate them for the service.
