I have ordered from this place a lot of times and finally got a chance to dine-in. Very elaborate menu, lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Momos are hard to find in London. They were good as were other dishes. Food quantity is large and cost is on the cheaper side.
To top it all because we complained that raita was too sweet, they replaced it with salted raita and took it off the bill!

We had a lovely birthday dinner here for my husband. They serve a mixture of Indian and Nepalese food. The food was a little spicy for me but it was very yummy. The food took a little long to arrive but we still enjoyed our evening. I would happily give it another try.
Went here for lunch on Sunday, for a quiet get away with the Mrs! We used s Groupon voucher, but wouldn't have any issues paying full price as the food was superb. Don't be put off by it being quite empty on a Sunday, as it is full on prime evenings. Go for traditional Nepalese dishes and you are likely to be really impressed as it is refreshingly different to Indian. ENJOY...
Don't be put off by the lack of people eating inside (and the weird disco lighting). My wife & decided to give it a go recently and we're very pleasantly surprised. We stick to ordering the Nepalese dishes & they were all great.
The food was really delicious, a little spicy but great portion sizes. Service was great. Polite & attentive. I’d definitely eat here again!
Great vegetarian Dahl Baat, very generous portion and variety of food for the price. Really friendly service from Sujat, big smile on his face the whole time! Will be back
I came here for it appeared top of the search list for vegan food in the area. The waiter was also willing to adapt a non vegan dish to be vegan. Friendly and accommodating. Personal taste the food was a bit too salty, but delicious otherwise.
Venue was empty on arrival, packed on departure. My friend was quick to judge and he liked it, although being Indian, it was not spicy enough for him.
Ordered delivery and it was delicious! Really made my day having some yummy food. Big portions and good price. Hard to find in London now.
Amazing food and service !! They really pay attention to the way they cook their food. I wanted to order a dish which was outside the menu, a vindaloo to be precise, I had the best vindaloo in london as I’m a spice lover. They are also great with other dishes such as jhafrezi, and chicken haryali. The food was so delicious. I have amazing service and the chef even checked with me how I liked my food. They are super attentive, kind and absolutely amazing with food. Hugely recommend!! I have to mention the amazing momos! … so delicious
We had the mixed grill and goan fish curry which were both delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. Well priced too, will be back!
I have eaten in and had takeaway here and the food has been delicious on both occasions. Fluffy rice, really good hariyali chicken, okra and paneer curry. I would agree with the review that said the restaurant was quite cold (although we did go in January!)
I can order and eat momo (dumplings - chicken & lamb) for starter, main and dessert from here any day! Also the nice thick mango lassi.
I don’t know if my tongue is getting more sensitive with age, but 2nd curry in the week (just happened to go twice in the week) and 2nd time I couldn’t eat my dinner because it was way too hot for me 🥵😵 but more for the other half!
Restaurant itself was lovely, like the paintings dotted around of Nepal.
I think they may have changed hands at some point but not certain. It’s meant to be Nepalese, Indian and Tibetan but seems less Nepalese lately as it’s a place I’ve been ordering takeaway and deliveries from over the last 11 years.
Anyway, food quality still good if you love your spicy curries!
So so full of flavour and amazing options!!! Loved allll the aubergine dishes!!!
If I could only recommend one place in London, this would be it. We found our way to Yak n Yeti almost by accident - it was raining cats and dogs outside, we were just in the neighbourhood, looking for a warning midday meal. I am not exaggerating when I say that the chicken dish (Timur Piro chicken) was the best seasoned poultry dish I've *EVER* had and this actually goes for their saffron rice, too.
My partner told me that his naan bread and nepalese chicken main was also nothing short of delicious, which comes as no surprise, really.
Also, I should mention that their masala tea is masterfully light and perfectly seasoned - while some other places would sweeten their teas to the point of no return, they actually held back on the sugar, which was greatly appreciated.
I can honestly say that I simply cannot wait to visit the Yak N Yeti again.
