I love Champagne and Fromage! Really accommodating and friendly staff. Have been here for date night and to celebrate a birthday with a big group. Such a nice ambience and the cheese is sooooo good. SO GOOD. Especially the garlic and herb camembert.. also really enjoyed the peach and raspberry Bellinis. Would definitely recommend booking in advance as this is a very cosy and intimate venue (there aren't many seats at all) and both times we found people walking past looking impressed with the food in front of us and then being turned away when they tried to get a table!

Champagne + Fromage is quintessentially a champagne, cheese and charcuterie lovers' dream. It is a recipe for success accompanied by a light and airy soundtrack of piano music. Located just around the corner from Greenwich market and across the road from the Cutty Sark; this little gem of a restaurant is a perfect spot for friends to come together or to enjoy the cosy atmosphere on date night. Once through the door you are able to experiment, enjoy and indulge your cheese and charcuterie passions to excess.

The central premise here is why does champagne work so well with cheese? If you aren't already aware you soon will be of the well known fact that champagne is a delightful compliment to all cheeses. Champagne + Fromage tantalises the taste buds by showing you that champagne is light enough not to overpower delicate goats' cheese, but also has enough acidity and freshness to cut through the deeply savoury, more flavoursome cheeses such as blue or washed-rind cheeses.

Once inside; decadent but affordable let the delicate china plates filled with charcuterie and cheese transport you to a world of wonder. Wooden boards showcase the cheeses and charcuterie selection artistically accompanied with grapes, dried apricots and quince jam which all serve to highlight the depth and variety of the cheeses. Our cheese board consisted of hard, blue, goat's, soft and creamy and washed rind cheeses from the Loire valley to Alsace. In addition to a varied selection of Corsican and Lyon cured meats, salami, Alpine saucissons, tapenades and light airy bread. The champagne tasting flight allows you to enhance the taste of the cheeses against a bubbly background. We tried three differing styles of champagne including Colin, Michael Furdyna and Pretois-Moriset (pink). Each is very drinkable alone but a success with the specific cheeses.

Mention must be made of the desserts on offer; I tried the five small macaroons. As a big fan of these delights they were a must try for me and I wasn't disappointed. Flavours included chocolate, raspberry, lemon, pistachio and vanilla. Safe to say it's hard to pick a favorite when such care is taken to make each one delectable.

Of additional interest for those who fall in love with the inviting world of Champagne + Fromage is Le Shop. Their individually sourced cheeses and champagnes are available for you to take home giving you the chance to enjoy the delights of Champagne + Fromage at anytime of the day!

I had great intentions to spend some time in Greenwich.  It’s somewhere I haven’t been for many, many years and somewhere that is often overlooked by visitors to London.  On the map it looks just a little far away from the centre of town.  Once upon a time it was – now, thanks to the DLR it’s an easy journey to Cutty Sark.  But, despite having a date in my diary to meet a friend for lunch at the newly opened Champagne & Fromage, I somehow managed to end up working till far to late and only just making it to the restaurant on time.  That despite the fact that Champagne & Fromage is just a few minutes walk from Cutty Sark station.

It’s been a long time since we graced Greenwich with a visit – I think the last time was when the Cutty Sark had been whisked away to be restored after its iron and wooden hull was ravaged by fire. When we returned last week, said hull was enclosed in a huge glass plinth forcing visitors to push the boundaries of their imagination to summon up images of the 19th-century clipper in its maritime glory days – when it traversed rough seas to bring tea (that great British drink) back from China no less than eight times.

We had a lovely lunch here. We especially liked how our waiter gave us helpful recommendations (we enjoyed everything) and that there's an option to have half a bottle of champagne. They gave us more bread for free too which was nice.

We had an absolutely amazing lunch! The garlic and herbs baked camembert, and the XL sharing platter provided us with sensational flavours. Excellent quality, and you can buy the saucissons and cheeses there to make your own at home if you so wish. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes the cheesy life, with some charcuterie to spice it up!

Had saucisson, wine and Camembert and can say that as a French myself, it was tasting just perfect. The baguette was absolutely delicious and the wine too. They refilled the baguette, pickles etc when they were out which should be normal but unfortunately pretty rare these days in most places, especially London. They also offered free wine to make up for forgetting the order of Camembert, so very good service. Would totally recommend!

Great place for a light dinner. Relax, sip champagne, enjoy raclette or a cheese plate, finish with some macaroons. The service is very friendly and genuine, and overall, great atmosphere.

Amazing place, welcoming & friendly staff. They offered a table to my lil boy and myself although we just walked in and they were expecting a few bookings. The charcuterie platter, the baguette and the macarons were very nice and the French 75 perfect. A great taste of France that I have been missing for quite some time now!! Will definitely pop back in next time I'm in the area!

We have been to this restaurant several times. The staff, food, and the champagne are excellent. We always include this restaurant in our travels when we visit the area. Douglas is very professional and knowledgeable of the menu and wines. Five stars on everything.

If you're a cheese fan, this place needs to be on the top of your list to visit! We had the Truffle camembert, which was unbelievably good. We then ordered a 2 cheese and 2 meat platter with some sweet jams that complimented everything perfectly! I'll definitely be back, Tara was a great host. Let her choose your meats and cheeses as she is the pro!

YOU MUST TRY! No need to say more. Amazing place, very warm, feels like family. If you want to go on French adventure, that is your hot spot! Manager looked after us very well and recommended best champagnes. In my opinion go for Rose! We tried snails, cheese and meat board, hot potatoes with truffle, but baked Camembert with figs is to die for!

Had the Duo Special sharing platter( £21) with my Granddaughter, which was tasty and more than adequate as a lunch for 2. We sat outside and could relax and watch the world go by. Staff were friendly and helpful and took the time to talk sensibly with my Granddaughter about the cheeses for the platter. Toilets were very clean. My only gripe (more with myself) £15 for a glass of Collin Castillo Chardonnay - but that was my choice - cheaper drinks are available! There is a 12.5% Service Charge.

Really lovely place with charming atmosphere. Good selection of champagne! Nice food - we’ve ordered a Gastroboard and Raclette potato. Both were so good! Perfect place for a date to have some champagne and nibbles/desert. The music selection was a bit distracting and didn’t go with the vibe of the place. 😊

This is an intimate restaurant in the heart of Greenwich. I shared a platter with three French meats and cheeses with my husband. Everything was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed a floral champagne glass while my he tried a different champagne. We had a corner seat mounded with pillows; quite comfortable. The lady who served us was full of smiles. It didn’t take long for our food and beverages.
