I love that each dish on the menu had its own unique flavours with a burst of surprise. The Melitzanosalata was so delicious and fresh, with a balanced smoked aubergine and lemon taste. The Santorini fava was really creamy and had a hummus-like texture. The Grilled Halloumi wrap was more filling than expected (quite a big size) and the bread used is thicker than usual. The Greek Mountain Tea was the most refreshing drink one must have to unwind (slightly pepperminty-lemony taste). Would go here again to try the other things for sure!
Perfectly designed for London crowds, unassuming yet perfectly put together. Impeccable service. Great choice and beautiful ingredients. Very little things to fault (if any! I cannot find any criticisms). Competitively priced and easy to assemble a meal o just a bite depending your needs. Full marks.
This visit is my third time and it never let me down. They have a £9.95 offer deal which is very value for money. Unfortunately today one side of the chicken wings were mostly burnt. The Greek coffee medium sweet just made my meal finish with a nice note.
Love love love the set menus at the real Greek. When I first ate here, I didn't expect much. But Greek food is a lot like Mediterranean food and yet so different. The super friendly staff makes out experience much better here.
Lunch specials, lunch specials, lunch specials! Tiny place that packs a punch. Nice vibe, great service. Tables are a little too close to have a business meeting though. Coffee was great. I would go back

Came to find this restaurant after coming back from Zante and missed Greek food. The place was clean, service was good and the food reminded me of Greece. I especially liked the flatbreads with a variety of dips. A good place to start for beginners trying out Greek food.

The food was very good. I found it very expensive(for Greek food least-souvlaki for £4,5??). Bear in mind that it is NOT authentic Greek food. It's a very nice mixture though of several cultures. And very tasty
Nice place, a little uninspired.. The food is nice here, the space is nice and the staff are - well, nice, everything feels like it should be with chips, so expect to come out feeling like you're about to have a heart attack.

I was introduced to this place by greek friends, and I always take this as an indicator that the food is good and authentic. I went back a few months later and I left stuffed and satisfied ( another indicator that the food was good). The real pleasure here is ordering many small plates. They all looked yummy, so we ended up ordering too much, but it was so good that we didn't stop eating. Their dips are also delicious and their pita is a delight. The atmosphere is very warm and comforting. Besides, it is very cheap, and you get real value for your money.

Always fresh and cooked to perfection. Many of the dishes are devised by Tonia Buxton.....a Greek Nigela, only she's more beautiful and sexier!! Apart from her TV shows, she has written a number of books on health and nutrition and also recipes.
The small chain is also proud of their wine list. I was told the area manager personally visited vineyards in Greece to recommend for the restaurants and what a fabulous job he did! Try Kanenas red and the Ellinas red, they are super!!

This is a place where you get comfortable & at ease the moment you step inside. Went in on a cold, Jan evening after a long day when I just wanted to crash on bed & sleep off. But in no time, we were chirping, holiday planning – this is the effect that ‘The Real Greek’ restaurant had!
Food was delicious, flavoursome & just kept vanishing from our plates :D. We ordered nibbles, falafel, flatbread with dips (hummas , melitzanosalata, tzatziki), chicken skewers, chargrilled chicken wings & finished with caramel-pecan cheesecake.
The staff was quite knowledgeable, very cheerful & friendly – but non-intrusive.
In all had a great time!
We had a nice time at this location before watching a theater show just across the street. The food was good although some dishes were not as good as others. It was a hot day and some of the fresh crudités were not standing up the ice very well. I would recommend this place if you were in the area and wanted to sit down to eat before a show. They also had cocktails which some of us enjoyed. Beers were nice and cold as well.
Great food and friendly service, once you got in. Needed to book ahead, and was so busy at 6.00pm on a Saturday. Would go again, but suspect serving sizes may be too small if one of your party has a large appetite, but there were options which could solve this, if you looked at all the menu options.
This place is an excellent destination to enjoy a quick bite while also making sure to accommodate for dietary restrictions and allergens. They very clearly label all vegan and gluten free items. If you have additional allergies, they offer a dedicated menu that explicitly specifies the specific allergens in each of the dishes. The service staff is very friendly and efficient, the flavors are on the simpler side, and the dishes come out quick.
Not the best Greek food, but the price was cheap, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, I think the taste matches the price, and it was a pleasant dining experience.
I would definitely recommend Moussaka if you come!

It was very busy inside when we arrived but we were offered a table outside straight away despite not booking and the restaurant being almost at capacity.
I told a staff member ( who may have been the manager) that we were due to go to the theatre and hebasured us he would get our food out quickly, which it was and it was also delicious!
The biggest thing was how staff interacted with our daughter- chatting to her and playing little games and wishing her a happy birthday- they even gave her a piece of cake with a candle and put it in a takeaway box when we had to rush to catch our show

Chain Greek restaurant with nice atmosphere. Waiter was nice. Food was a bit bland. Decent lunch special and UNiDAYS discounts (offers cannot be combined). Recommend for an affordable outing if you’re able to use one of the discount offers.
I ordered a dinner combo tonight with flatbread, spicy feta dip, agean slaw and chicken tamaristari (chicken thigh). Food is nice with some seasoning, especially the tender chicken thigh. Can't wait for the next time.
All dishes were tastey. Can't remember all if them but they included dolmades, spanakopita, mousaka, sausages, spicy feta, tzatziki. Staff were attentive. Seating could use some comfort but did not detract from the food.
Enjoyed a delightful meal at The Real Greek last week. Superb service, polite, professional members of staff and such good food!!! Have already recommended this to friends and family and we most certainly eating here again. Thank you for such a lovely meal. 😁

This was easily the highlight of my vacation in London. I went to various restaurants and this was the only place that I enjoyed. The place was spacious and the food was great. There was a wonderful table outside that overlooked the plaza right outside. My server was Eddy and he was very nice and helpful, he also recognized the American slang I was using and explained what it meant in England. Overall, amazing experience and next time I take a trip, I will absolutely come here again!
Nice place just central of Covent Garden, bring your food out in a tea set so it's more of a sharer platter. They have a set menu for £17 or you can do a bigger sharer platter for £44 where it's 8 plates rather than 3. Had the lamb meatballs in a wrap and pork belly separate, was good and filled me up. Late booking and it seemed fast service with a continuous movement of people, we were in and out within 40 mins. Beware the olives have stones in them 😜
Wonderful experience! Not just the food which was probably the best I’ve tasted outside of Greece (the popcorn halloumi was the best ever!) but it was the atmosphere, the coziness of the place and people working there. I booked this place to celebrate my daughters birthday and Christos made it so much better! So nice and kind, and put a candle on our dessert and sang happy birthday for her) I’m so grateful! We will be back!
A lovely experience for an early evening meal. The food was really good - especially the lamb moussaka and the chicken thighs with tomato sauce. The service was even better and so friendly, adding to our evening - thank you, Giannis!
I took a chance and bought a Groupon voucher for this restaurant to keep costs down for a weekend in London.
It was a GREAT choice! The food was absolutely delicious! We shared a tzatziki, a feta dip, flatbread and crudités and had chicken, lamb, bulgur wheat and slaw for mains. All tasted authentic, delicious and were all well cooked. But the baklava!!!! My word, took me back to a Greek holiday ☺️
It's a compact restaurant, it was very busy, but plenty of staff to serve. We certainly enjoyed our visit here.
What a great evening. The food was amazing. I have eaten so much food. The honey halloumi- yum. Our waiter - Giannis was amazing. He knew the menu inside out. He could teach waiters in London a thing or two about service. I was never sure about going to a Greek restaurant chain in London but it felt like a family restaurant in the heart of Greece. The staff were so friendly. I can't wait to go back again.
