Shampers - London - Photo album

Once again Shampers did not disappoint. Simon and his team have created something truly amazing here - an oasis in the heart of Soho - a true find and an unrushed chilled relaxed atmosphere with one of the best wine lists you will ever see. Food as usual was amazing - staff fantastic and as usual a
Great wine and food . A perfect venue in the heart of London just off the busy Regent Street, Piccadilly. Although plenty of seating they do get very busy. They consistently provide a choice of delicious dishes from the menu and offer a great selection of wines. Enjoy a glass or bottle of wine with
Really liked this place great service great food and the wine list is nice and long. Any issues choosing the right wine we just asked and our waitress helped pick out a great wine for us. Bread and butter pudding was amazing and the overall decor and experience was super chilled and enjoyable. Proba
Wonderful place to eat with friendly service and great food. A lot of choices on food but an amazing selection of wines. Highly recommend.
Decent oysters, steak and sea bass…good atmosphere and service was timely…
Lovely, authentic wine bar with loads of choice at lots of different price points. A cosy and lively atmosphere!
Fantastic atmosphere with great onwer/manager. Just get past some rude waitresses:)
My second visit here in as many weeks and each time the food, wine and staff have been brilliant. I have passed by so many times over the years and it has always been busy and now I know why! I shall be returning again soon without doubt.
I've been visiting Shampers since 1987 and have never had a bad meal. Absolutely reliable on food and the best wine-list in London. One of the warmest welcomes you'll find
Very sad news. I arrived yesterday to enjoy good fayre and ambience but sadly it’s closed down, what a bl@@dy shame that one of the last independent wine bars that differentiated itself from the herd is no more. I feel for the team who gave so much to keep it going but were thwarted by this whole Co
Very nice little wine bar and restaurant close to Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We only had drinks so can't comment on the food. The wine we had was very nice.
Very busy eatery in Soho, had a wonderful lunch here recently, and the service was very personal. I would recommend booking if you really want to eat here, as it could be a long wait for a table unless you arrive very early! I believe the restaurant is in the hands of long-term owners, and it shows
I love this place for a late night glass of wine. Sooooo many to choose from and reasonably priced
I always love my visits to Shampers and I’ll be there again this Saturday for my boy’s birthday. It’s 15 years now. So happy they survived the lockdown shutdown. For me it’s oysters, rare calves liver or a hearty cold meats board . The bread and butter pudding and pot au chocolat are always fabulous
This is one of Sohos little hidden diamonds. It has an amazing selection of great wines and the lamb cutlets are to die for. My girlfriend had the cod which I don't usually eat but it was tender and accompanied beautifully. I totally recommend this place as the staff and the owner are wonderful.
Have used this restaurant on several occasions enjoyed it every time, its got everything going for it, great fresh food, a good wine list, pleasant staff and a good atmosphere.
Definitely book in advance to come here. I've walked past Shampers so many times, but once you go inside the walls are full of a range of different wines and it has a very cosy feel I had the calamari in sweet chilli which was delicious, the sauce made it. The mains are a decent portion and dessert
