Fantastic food, great service and nice atmosphere. Great for meat lovers. Veggies and vegans should probably give it a miss. This place used to be on the CODE app on a Tuesday but it looks like they stopped the promotion which is a shame. Highly recommend!

This place is perfect: I was a bit apprehensive going in a bit early for dinner alone but the staff was welcoming and friendly. Waitress was fluid with her menu and drink recommendations, and the food.. just wow. Pork jowl was tender and the proportion of fat to meat was just right, producing a medley of texture and flavor that was perfectly satisfying. The bone marrow mash was the stuff of dreams - smooth buttery and absolutely delicious. Had to hold myself back from engulfing it in seconds 🤤 Definitely a must-try, would want to return the next time Im back in London!

Great meat, but way too noisy. We tried both pork and beef and really enjoyed them. The meat is cooked very nicely. However, all of their food including the garnish is TOO salty. Also, the restaurant is very noisy so it is impossible to have a proper conversation during dinner.

My favourite place in London right now! I've been half-a-dozen times and it's been consistently fantastic. This is technically barbecue food -- cheaper cuts smoked low-and-slow until meltingly tender -- but it skirts tired BBQ staples. No pulled pork, no brisket covered in too-sweet orange sauce. Instead, you get an unfussy and constantly changing menu that invites you to come back. Best things on the menu, IMO: house bacon, amazing Mangolitsa pork chops, bone marrow mashed potatoes, green chilli coleslaw, bourbon cola pudding, but best of all: the smoked, cured pork jowl. It's the tastiest bacon I've ever had. It's powerful good. We once ordered an extra portion as a side because it's so good. (We also once ordered a second round of starters as desserts, because when stuff tastes this good, who cares about convention?)

Got here for a late-ish 9pm reservation. Sat promptly and welcomed to the table. After watching a video of the place by Eater, my main intention was to try the Bone Marrow Mash and Mangalitza pork, both of which they had on the day (they change their menu daily based on what is fresh so call in and ask). Food did not disappoint at all. Good range of drinks as well. Special mention as well for the Grilled Lamb Denver and Smoke Cod Roe with Carrots.

This has been at or near the top of my to go to list for a couple of years now so I jumped at an unexpected opportunity to go yesterday. Sometimes you’re left disappointed when you have high expectations but we were blown away! We arrived without a reservation and my heart sank when I saw how busy they were but they managed to find a great table for two for us by the window. The space is gorgeous, the atmosphere on a lovely Thursday evening was happy, relaxed and informal. Service was amongst the best I’ve ever experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The grilled sourdough with bone marrow was a revelation, so good we nearly ordered a second one! Our main of 500g of smoked lamb shoulder between 2 people was sublime, genuinely the best lamb I’ve ever tasted. My dining partner agreed, the sides of bone marrow mash and grilled Savoy cabbage with wild garlic butter were perfect accompaniments. We were too full for desserts. The beer brewed on the premises was also good and for me, a proud Yorkshireman to say that about Southern beer is very unusual! At just under £80 for two people including drinks and service I thought it was very good value. I cannot wait to go back!

Went as a pair on a Wednesday night without a reservation, had no problem being seated for dinner. Portion sizes of the table plates do vary but the best policy is to buy 2-3 and share as starters. Sticky BBQ ribs were great but the star was the piqant Bavarian sausage and sauerkraut. Our half kilo steak was cooked fairly rare but flavoured to perfection and went excellently with the mash and one of their locally brewed beers. Roughly £60 a head including service (our waiter could not have done more for us) - well worth it for an upmarket meal.

Quality meat at reasonable prices. The mangalitiza pork dishes are amazing there, I tried the lamb breast as well, which was tender and rich in flavour at the same time. However I find the smoked pork jowl extremely salty. Overall it's a good place if you love eating meat.

An excellent dinner throughout. The mashed potatoes and sourdough bread with bone marrow were fantastic, and so was the pig jowl. A little disappointed by the prime beef rib, which was fairly average probably not worth the price. Excellent house wheat beer.

To book the restaurant I had to give out my person data to a third party system called Resy which is not ideal. Otherwise booking is simple and they confirm by text. They hare their own brewery on site and we started by trying some of the beers of which they have a variety of a few. The decor was nice but it can get quite noisy in this place. The service was very good and friendly, and the staff were very knowledgable about the food. The food itself was great.
