We were here for the brunch and must say we really enjoyed our time here from the different dishes to the cocktails it was pretty awesome. Veggie options available which is great too so you can take your veggie partners or friends too.
Service could have been better and we had very noisy neighbours which hindered our ability to communicate.

Ine of the best place in London to eat meat. Tender, melty and very well seasoned, the meat was amazing and the sauces were really tasty. All our orders were delicious and the salad was also great
The waiter was very kind and explained to me where the meat was from and showed me the raw meats and sizes which helped me a lot on what to buy. The price wasn’t worth the amount of food i got as i bought rib-eye which also came with chips and a drink but the drink was very warm and wasn’t a full glass which i wasn’t satisfied with. But the chips and steak was very nice and the inside of the restaurant looked very nice and posh but was just a bit cold.
We went to Gaucho between friends last Friday. As a massive beef fan I had quite high expectations about this place. I had the ribeye, which was really tasty and well presented. The service was very professional and our friendly waitress made us enjoy our time there. I love wine but did not know very well the products from Argentina. We had a Humberto Canale and a Gran Zorzal recommended by the sommelier. Both of them were very good.
We were excited at the prospect of gin cocktails on the terrace of the very glamorous Gaucho by the pier at Canary Wharf; but June in England is always risky, and on the evening of the event, the skies turned grey and then issued a downpour of rain. Plan B was put into action, and our soon-to-be merry bunch of bloggers settled into the bar area to partake of the No. TEN Citrus cocktails which are only available at this location.

The location and ambience are great.
Our group was quite big and there was a bit of a mess upon arrival. We had to change tables even though we had pre booked. No big deal.
The device was extreeeemmmllyy slow. We started our main course almost 2 hours after we sat.
The steaks were really good but the portions could be a tiny bit bigger. Found it to be a bit overpriced, but considering the location and quality of the meat it might be just right.
Gaucho enjoys a great location at Canary Riverside, and it's always a pleasant place for a meal, whether on the (heated) terrace or in the cow hide clad interior.
The food is what you would expect - good pieces of Argentine beef, grilled as you like them, with a variety of sides and sauces and a wide selection of Malbec.
Today I went for the bife de lomo - nice fillet steak with chimichurri sauce, while my wife had the smaller version of the same, with béarnaise sauce. Both were melt in your mouth good, and the fries and tomato salad we ordered were also faultless.
Overall a great experience, although, at £128 (excluding service but including two cocktails, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water), it was definitely not cheap, especially for what is, after all, a chain restaurant.
It's a Gaucho so you know you're going to pay for steaks - veggies beware. This one has a great bar and atmosphere as well as a cracking view given it's right on the river. Great service and food !
Can you walk to this place from canary wharf, order steak, eat, talk and finish in 1 hour? Yes you can. Had a 400 gms chorizo steak with peppercorn sauce, fries and spinach. Damn good. Loved it. But was creaking when I got back to work.
It's hard to fault any Gaucho and this one in particular not only has the exquisite food but also the great view across the water from the wharf. I feel very lucky to have this gem a mere short walk away
Good atmosphere, steaks too small, great location
A bit over fancy, a bit stuck up, but I love that dip and cheese balls you get at the beginning. Steaks are not bad either. Would go back again.
If I had to chose between the three steak chains - Gaucho, Goodmans and Hawksmoor, Gaucho would win for its class and ambiance though it is surely the priciest of the three by a mile.
We had gone there on a bright sunny day and were lucky enough to get a seat outside - it was an absolute bliss with a brilliant view of the city. The ambience inside is equally good, Gaucho seems to have cow hide decor as standard and it surely does the trick.
Even though we ordered time honoured favourite - Mablec, I liked the ideal of menu with wines for each dish. For starters we had ordered the Empanadas, just about good enough to tempt your taste bud but not heavy enough to fill you up. Steaks were perfect, just exactly to each of our liking. However, that said, I still prefer Hawksmoor for the steak but as a complete dining package, look no further than Gaucho!
Very popular venue for all us meat eaters and steak lovers out there. When it comes to the time to order your mains, the staff parade round the table with the various available cuts of beef that you can chose. They will guide you on the cut to opt for and then you select how well you like it cooked.
I am partial to the rib eye as I like some fat on my steak. I usually accompany this prime piece of meat with some fries and asparagus. Make sure you ask for the cheese buns/rolls for starters. They are amazing, even though they are not always available.
The prices can be quite high, but this does not seem to hinder the regular clientele.
A must for any meat eater when in London. This place is a mini Argentina in the city! To die for steaks. The service makes you feel like you are the most important person there. The staff will effortlessly guide you through the menu and various cuts of beef. They will then parade a cheese board afterwards where you can choose some of the cheeses available.
What a lovely restaurant. From the ambiance to the broad selection of wines. We decided to come for my husband Paul and Is 22nd anniversary and they made sure to make the night feel special. Thank you so much to our lovely host Adelina who made it one to remember. Amazing food and we will be back again.
Amazing location with great food.
It was one of the best ribeye steaks I have had in a long time. I suggest trying the seabass ceviche as it was delicious.
For the type of restaurant, I was expecting a better option of dessert but still deserved a 5 star.
The food was great, the servers were lovely and very helpful.
Note most of the mains come on their own so you have to order a starch and vegetables as sides
When the weather is nice sitting outside at this venue is like being on a summer vacation. The trees provide shade but you can still see the lovely view of the river up towards London. Food is great the service has always been exemplary.
We went there for dinner, and Nora (i think is written like this) was very kind and nice, very attentive to us and even she even gave us a special dessert for our second anniversary, the meat was SPLENDID, the quality of the food is something very unique, i love everything, definitely we gonna come back 10/10
The food is great… I had steak and the smallest gram of meat was filling. The tomatoes salad was yummy.. I can’t believe tomatoes can taste so good. I wasn’t really a fan of the drink I ordered, I like sweet drinks and this didn’t turn out to be sweet. Chef’s kiss 😘
We had a great time here. Me and my friends dined here for many times. From the time you enter, the service is exceptional.
Excellent ambiance and succulent, scrumptious steaks! Excellent waiters her name Christina who was informed and super nice with us. Carlo their General Manager was super polite and he offered us a best cocktail I ever had in my life.
Food was delicious, we had a great experience. Staff were very attentive and constantly checked on us.
I believe our waitress’ name was Angelica but not sure. She was perfect, loved all of her recommendations especially the salted Dulce de leche cheesecake and the la passion del chocolate dessert cocktail, both were phenomenal. Definitely recommend these, and the chimichurri sauce paired perfectly with the ribeye steak
Cocktails were very good
Not my first time in Gaucho restaurant
Loved it every time
One of the best steaks in London
The only thing they need to work on a re deserts
As Pastry Chef found a lot to complain abouy
Otherwise loved everything else
Went for brunch here - unlimited food&drinks for 2 hours.
Very much enjoyed my experience, our waiter was very friendly! The food was nice but the drinks menu was very limited.
Overall I’ve enjoyed the experience
Right on the water, great atmosphere; I imagine even better in the summer when it’s warm.
FOOD- some were good & some were bad.
Seared Scallops were food, the piece of chorizo steak we had was just fresh. My friend had the burger he said it was good. Our waiter Adrian was just great. Nice little place to go once in a while. The desert was amazing. I had caramel ice cream. I’ll definitely be trying other locations.
Lunch and natter with a school friend. Impeccable service, good burrata starter, nice sirloin with chips and spinach followed by the (large) warm brownie with ice cream. All paired with a nice Merlot. If you have dined at a Gaucho previously you'll know what to expect. If you haven't this branch is worth a try with the imposing central bar and standard dark wood tables with fur backed chairs. There are 2 outside dining pods which have a view over the river.
We went here for our small team’s Christmas lunch and all three of us really liked it. My colleagues had the scallops as starter, it had a really nice sauce. Then we all had steak. My piece had an ever so slightly bigger piece of fat than I expected but nonetheless it was very nice. The brownie I had was alright, nothing special but a nice brownie with vanilla ice cream (originally it comes with white chocolate ice cream but they can switch it to vanilla). The waiter’s wine recommendation was a very good match to our taste and the dish.
