Absolutely awesome donuts that are always freshly made and served at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff as well. Highly recommended.
Lovely doughnuts. Very fresh and refreshing coffee.
Courteous staff is super efficient and livens up the mood.
Often I crave for a doughnut and coffee, but not often that craving is met. Crosstown doughnut has always met that expectation. It does come with a price being £4 per doughnut.
This donuts might be what I missed the most about London! I reaaaallllyyy love its matcha/green tea donuts! It’s not overly sweet, the sweetness is just right! Please come early if you dont want to miss it. Once I came at 8pm and they only got 1 piece of matcha donut left (before, I visited Shoreditch branch and all matcha donut sold out). I have tried some other flavour as well but no no (theyre still good tho), matcha will always be number one for me ;)
Doughnuts or donuts it’s that squishy fried dough either covered in plain sugar, filled with jam or finished with a glaze that satisfies my taste buds. Crosstown doughnuts started their humble beginnings with a stall at Leather Lane market. Currently, with fourteen locations across London and selling their merchandise in Planet Organic they become more accessible than ever.
An incredible selection of unique doughnuts, many of which are vegan so that everyone can enjoy a naughty treat! Can get a selection for the office to make you the favourite co-worker in seconds!
I had first encountered Crosstown Doughnuts on my lunch at Tombo, where I declared the matcha one fantastic-inventive-great! So I was just as excited checking out the full blown store in Soho. London’s a big place, which makes it easy to miss a spot, though Crosstown has some coverage with four stores across the scene. There’s some rave reviews and lots of tantalising flavour options which hypes up the experience somewhat. I had the kiwi(fruit) and green apple (£3.50). This is a sourdough based, with a fruit compote with mint-infused white chocolate icing. It wasn’t quite as wow as the cake-based one I had last time, but is a solid donut option for these parts. The sourdough base ends up being too much bread-like for my donut preferences. There’s a good amount of compote in each bite and it’s great tasting. Crosstown make all their own, and you can feel that with every bite having chunks of fruit. Will return.
Crosstown doughnuts offers an incredible selection of doughnuts, from the traditional raspberry filled doughnuts to chilli white chocolate doughnuts - Will definitely go back to try this one! I had a small dulce de leche filled doughnut, which was amazing! Even though the parlour itself is very small, I was very impressed with the decoration. Crosstown Doughnuts must have comissioned street artist Nathan Bowen to develop a few sketches which are currently up on the wall, just below a neon sign stating 'Be a doughnut in a world full of cupcakes' - Well done Crosstown Doughnuts!
Tried Peanut Butter & Blueberry after a long hold of contemplation (so many tempting options!). The PB turned out to be on the icing instead of inside, with some real nuts on top. Interesting mixture with the blueberry jam. Much sweeter than real PB but somehow worked.
That said, the real star was actually the bun. You just know when you bite into high quality sour dough.
Donuts here are usually good, always interesting, and a bit pricey.
Black Forest (5/10) - The combinations of flavors worked well together, but as is the case with filled donuts, often times you find you only have a few bites with jam in them. The chocolate is also quite subtle for a donut described as Black Forest.
Beetroot, Lemon, Thyme (8/10) - All of the flavors promised with this donut are delivered aggressively without being overbearing. There is enough sugar on them to offset the strong flavors of citrus.
Peanut Butter Berry (7/10) - The Crosstown's take on a PB&J. A point or two for nostalgia, this hit all the right notes for me. A good ratio between the peanut butter and jam.
Sea Salt Caramel Banana (5/10) - Banana custard filled chocolate donut topped with sea salted caramel. I like all of these things. Unfortunately I think that the chocolate used for the base is a bit too bitter. Perhaps personal preference, but I would add more sugar to the base, or use a less bitter chocolate.
Creme Brulee Donut (8/10) - A light and fluffy donut, tasty custard, and a crunch on top that is reminiscent of the source that it draws from. I love this one.
Matcha Tea (8/10) - The matcha flavor here is very present, while at the same time not being overwhelmingly bitter.
Glazed Cinnamon Scroll (6/10) - It feels like an elevated Cinnabun. I'd imagine it has half the calories as well.
As a matcha lover, of course it was matcha doughnut I got from crosstown, didn't think the dough was that great, wasn't as fluffy as expected but nevertheless they did great job on the flavours, already planning to get that watermelon and lime doughnut on next visit ;)
Donuts are great, coffee not so much!
Been here a couple of times and love the different flavour donuts.
The crème brûlé is divine, the mini coffee cream was delicious too. If you'd like something different, try the beetroot lemon thyme one.
The roast they use for their coffee is not my thing and really didn't like it.
Definitely worth going just keep in mind the place is very small and does get crowded quickly.
Crosstown Doughnuts is now a popular doughnut brand in London. It all started as a market stall and started spreading around city soon after. In merely just a year, not only do they have regular appearance at multiple popular food markets, they have also managed to launch their permanent flagship...
Had a very nice coffee here on a mini escape from the hustle bustle of London. It was a beautifully creamy and tasty coffee and hit the spot wonderfully. On one view, it saved my life.
I have sung the praises of Crosstown Doughnuts before, but it’s a tune worthing singing. Make way for the Choc Cinnamon Scroll with Passionfruit Curd. Once you reach the explosion of tart, yellow heaven in the centre you’ll know why the girl in the shop (with the funky shirt), said it’s her favourite.
The staff here is super nice! Every donut is to die for, literally so amazing. I wish I was in London so I could come here more often! I had an apple/pear crumble donut and it was hands down the most spectacular donut I've ever had.
I tried the glazed cinnamon scroll and orange blossom. It was such a treat to eat them!
Perfectly soft, just the right texture not too heavy and not oily at all. They come fresh as well.
There's an interesting assortment, very well presented and the staff are helpful.
Always entertaining for the eyes and taste buds!
Well well an American doughnuts place close to my house ......the dream came true .
The product is so good , the staff is sooooo friendly
Good job
Is a must to go there if you are in Soho
An empty stomach is a dangerous thing to have when walking around Soho.
Temptation is everywhere and despite your best intentions, you won’t be able to resist for very long.
Especially if you come across Crosstown Doughnuts.
The tiny stall-come-store built quite a cult following over the years and for good reasons. Not only do they have brilliant ideas (#paydaydoughday should definitely be an official thing!), but their doughnuts are simply divine.
Like most things in life, not all doughnuts are created equal. I've seen, and heard a lot of hype about crosstown doughnuts. Namely for the fact that they're one of only a few places in London where you can enjoy a yummy food hybrid known to many as a crodough. Crosstown Doughnuts. So, you can imagine my face when I spotted some crosstown doughnuts sitting pretty in Selfridges food hall.
I had read up a lot about best doughnuts to try in London and Crosstown was featured in many of the articles so I had to give it a try.
I am very happy I did because this tiny little doughnut and coffee shop offers a great variety of doughnuts from the standard to the extremely decadent. The back wall of the store is beautifully decorated with the wide selection of the doughnuts.
I did find the premium doughnuts to be a little overpriced but was happy to pay for the experience.
Not the best doughnut I've eaten but still very good.
One of the best places to stop for a treat in London. I'm not usually a fan of doughnuts, but I make an exception for the ones they sell here. Every one I have tried has been delicious, the matcha tea flavour being a particular favourite of mine.
Sweet treat anyone,??
Decided to try some of their notorious doughnuts. The place was really quiet and much smaller than I expected.
We took our doughnuts to go and I picked the caramel cream, around the doughnut was a hard sugar coating but the best thing about it is the creme centre. Gorgeous and not too sweet of a custard,!
I have read and followed Crosstown Doughnuts for what seems to be the longest time. After a while I managed to find their doughnut branch walking around Wardor Street after work. I work in Soho and as it was so close, I was so surprised to only find it recently!
Their doughnuts are just stunning. Would recommend anything with caramel really. 🍩
After months of following Crosstown Doughnuts on Instagram and drooling every time I saw one of their posts, I finally made it to their Soho branch and tried out their hugely popular doughnuts!
Firstly the store itself is super cute, nestled in Soho it's definitely Instagram worthy! I opted for the Banana Caramel doughnut which was to die for and a flat white 👌🏼😁😍 my pal chose the chocolate truffle ring doughnut and had half of each 🍩
The banana caramel was incredible, subtle flavours and the perfect level of sweetness! 💖

The exponential growth of the popularity of Crosstown Doughnuts meant that they needed to move from their small store in Piccadilly Circus tube station into their brand new (since May) shop in Soho. Serving up creative and unique flavour combination, walking in the store made me reminisce about being a kid in the candy section at our local dairy.
Crosstown’s formulation is unlike the usual doughnut affair. Mixing in a sourdough starter, it has a more bready texture compared to regular doughnut which makes it more substantial and filling. Despite our breakfast at Flat White just around the corner, we couldn’t walk pass without ordering a few (to share!).
We had:
Raspberry Jam Doughnut | Filled with homemade fresh raspberry jam, freeze-dried raspberries and dusted in icing sugar.
Matcha Tea Doughnut | Green tea flavoured doughnut with a vanilla glaze on top.
Mini Chocolate and Passionfruit Doughnut | filled with tangy passionfruit curd and topped with milk chocolate and freeze-dried passion fruit pieces.
There were several other flavours including Peanut Butter and Berry, Creme Brulee and Lamnut which sparked my interest but knowing that we had a full day of eating ahead, we controlled ourselves and refused to order a box to devour later. Mouthful of deliciousness, these gourmet doughnuts were divine!
After a speed lunch at Sesame, we took ourselves over to Soho to check out Crosstown Doughnut's first permanent superterranean outpost (you can also find them in Piccadilly Circus Underground station). Their delightful doughnuts can be found all over London in the likes of Whole Foods and Kopapa, and at various markets, but it's always nice to have a dedicated doughnut den to point people towards.
There's something for everyone in the Crosstown selection (e.g. Matcha Tea Doughnuts, Australian-inspired Lamnuts, Rhubarb & Raspberry Toasted Meringue Doughnuts) but for me it has to be the Sea Salt Caramel and Banana Cream Doughnut.
"A winning combination of homemade chocolate soil topping, chocolate sourdough base and fresh banana cream filling. A sweet but silky banana cream filling is encased in Crosstown’s light and fluffy chocolate sourdough. We then top it all off with a generous swirl of sea salt caramel and a divine chocolate soil."
Eeeermaaaageeeerd, it's incredible. One of these monsters will set you back £3.50 or so, but for an extra quid (ish) you can chuck in a rather excellent coffee from Volcano or their new creation, Assembly Coffee. Also, you can now get bite-sized versions (pictured below) which are bloody marvellous. Or you could order 120 doughnuts for £290 and become the office hero. Save one for me.
If you're looking for a treat, you're in the right place!!
I had a "sea salt caramel & banana cream" doughnut. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!
The banana cream filling was amazeballs!
I paired this with a lovely soy chai latte. Which I have to say was quite small, but still lovely.
The place has a few seats for you to hang out. Staff were really friendly!
Located on Broadwick street right next to Venchi Chocolates & within 5minutes walking distance from Piccadilly Circus station/Chinatown. I highly recommend a visit to get some luxury doughnuts that are handcrafted fresh daily at their Battersea bakery. They also have a loyalty app and offer a delivery and collection service check their website for more details. This is one of their smaller branches and I managed to grab the new flavours to try…
Coffee and pecan caramel : a creamy coffee custard filled sourdough doughnut dipped in a toasted caramel glaze a topped with a butter pecan crumble. I’m a coffee lover and the flavour really came through the custard it wasn’t overpowering which I adored. With every bite you had the perfect balance…soft fluffy sourdough, the sweetness of the caramel with notes of smokiness, the crunch of the pecans combined with the creamy luxurious coffee custard perfection!! I really enjoyed this with a cup of coffee a perfect combination.
Mango and Vanilla (VE) : a vegan sourdough, filled with a creamy vanilla custard, coated in a ripe mango glaze, candied mango pieces and the signature chocolate cross. This one wasn’t one of my personal favourites but I’m not a huge mango fan so I’m not surprised but the flavour of the mango was overpowering the filling in my opinion.
Pineapple & Coconut (VE) : a vegan sourdough ring doughnut covered in a tangy pineapple glaze and generously topped with toasted coconut chips. Loved the tropics vibes this doughnut gave so lush leaves you wanting to savour every little bite.
Of course couldn’t leave without getting a box of mixed doughnuts, I definitely recommend trying them out you will not regret it….
Bakery specialized in sourdough donuts. They offer different flavours and sizes, from the classic donuts to more fancy and exotic one. I also really like that they have seasonal donuts. I tried the apricot chia one and was really good: the filling was so rich and tasteful while the dough was light and fluffy. The bakery is small but has a table inside. They also offer coffee and tea.
Pasticceria specializzata in ciambelle a lievito madre a molti gusti diversi. Ho provato quella all'albicocca e chia e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Offrono anchr caffé e tè.
If you are craving a quick donut, Crosstown will never disappoint. Both vegan and non-vegan options are really great. It would be great if they ever offered warm (freshly baked in front of you) option. In total, good donuts, though a little over priced.
Donuts are good quality and I love the Matcha Cake, but unfortunately the higher price isn't quite justified. The staff always seem bored and even rude at times too. You'd think that a donut chain that values quality would also value customer experience, guess not. Buying a donut shouldn't feel like an awkward experience.
Amazing doughnut <3
Perfectly baked with a rich and tasty filling !
Try the penuts butter and blackcurrent if you like PBJ ;)
Sooooo good! They specialize in donuts with SO many flavors and styles! Even if you aren’t a donut fan, you must check this place out!
Is it possible to create tastier donuts?! I've been there for the first time last week and I've fallen deeply, deeply in love with those donuts. The peanut butter and blackcurrant one is so, so amazing. So filling. So... Wow. I've also tried the Cinnamon Swirl doughnut a few hours later which is totally vegan and liked it a bit less, I thought it was less tasty but it's just because I love it when there's cream inside or outside of my donuts - I mean, real, creamy cream if that makes sense.
There are a few flavors that are vegan and that's amazing! Also, Crosstown have a lot of selling points around London!!! Just taste them. Just taste them!! /
Truly amazing donuts! They're super fresh, rich in flavour, and not greasy at all. The sugar level is just right - not overly sweet. We also love the coffee very much - one of the top 10 good coffees in London definitely!
These doughnuts are in a Calibre of their own! The variety in flavours is wide yet refined. Each unique doughnut has a complex flavour combination, and the sourdough is a noticeable element to most of them. I would recommend getting them all to try if you can to decide which one is your go-to. Some of the ones you may not conventionally consider may end up becoming your favourite! For me the matcha and Sri Lanka Cinnamon is a reason to keep going back!
Best doughnuts! So many great flavours aswell as vegan options- they’re honestly the nicest doughnuts I’ve had so far (my favourite is the peanut one). They’re non greasy, bready as well as filling 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Possibly the best doughnuts i've ever had! Delicious! We had the peanut butter and black gateau ones, with soy chai lattes. Both doughnuts were beautifully flavoured and the soy chai lattes were top notch. I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys doughnuts or a good warm drink.
Very friendly staff, yummy vegan and non vegan donuts and delicious cold brew coffee. We got the lemon donut, the spiraling donut filled with coconut cream and the beetroot thyme donut. HANDS DOWN, the best vegan donuts I’ve ever had!!
BUY IT ALL! We had quite a few different donuts and can safely say there is no bad choice. Coffee is good but nothing to write home about. A nice compliment though. Staff is sweet and the place is trendy and clean. If you stumble upon this place you won't be sorry. Side note: Our Favorite was the Truffle Ring and second favorites the Glazed Ring.
Consistently tasty doughnuts and good strong coffee. They serve quite a strong espresso shot so be prepared for that, good for an afternoon kick. Can’t go wrong with any of the doughnuts but my favourite is the coconut lime one!
The best Crosstown store in London. The staff at the Soho branch are amazing and really friendly, they also have a lot of Vegan options.
We are normally served by Luke, he is great guy and fantastic at his job.
The doughnuts have a premium taste unlike other brands that can taste extremely sweet or even oily. Their doughnuts taste ”clean” light, fresh and delicious. In my opinion Crosstown has the best vegan doughnuts in London.
GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
As I am in London u decided to explore what dessert places are in Soho. I came across this shop, selling baked goods, on Instagram so decided to try it. Really easy to find as it is a stone throw from Oxford street. The shop is small and maybe a little cramped for customers. I ordered quite quickly- a pistachio scroll snd peanut butter and jelly donut. When I left I realised my PB&J donut wasn’t done properly so I returned to point this out. The staff were so friendly and helpful, offering me another one on the house. That put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. This is a cute bakery and I would recommend but not return as I want to try other places too!
These donuts are delish. I've only tried the vegan ones, and they're great (and pretty). The flavours are creative and exciting. You can also find crosstown donuts being sold at Wholefoods Piccadilly (in the pic) and Planet Organic. I recommend the orange blossom custard donut with pomegranate icing and pistachios. Heavenly!! The sourdough dough base is straight up a delight to bite into.
