Spotted this place and was sucked in by the menu, goose ragu, lamb, rabbit, tongue - I was sold. Wine list was all regional and excellent. We loved everything we had - the food and staff were top notch! Pasta to die for.

So happy I found this place! A true little gem. It's a tiny, comfortable place that feels very homely. Outstanding Italian food. The deliciousness starts with the bread and really high quality oil+balsamic vinegar. Caprese was great and the tomatoes really tasty. The truffle pasta with mushrooms was cooked to perfection and the best pasta I've had in a long while. The freshest ingredients. Prices very fair. Staff super friendly. Will definitely be back!

I had to rate it 5.0, really I had to!
I discovered this place a couple of months ago, thanks to my friends. I went there the first time and I was impressed by the location, in Covent Garden and by the inside of the restaurant, the typical Italian one but not stereotyped.
The staff welcomes you straight away and try to place you, even if it is recommended to book in advance as the restaurant is quite small.
The menu has different options, all very typical from Marche region, in the centre of Italy.
I tried as starter antipasto della casa and salumi e formaggi and it was very revealing about the quality of the restaurant.
After that I got tagliolini al nero di seppia con broccoli e gamberi and also I tried tagliatelle con le noci and brasato di manzo. All very delicious, tasty, cooked and presented in the right way.
About desserts I had millefoglie (the first millefoglie I tried in London) and crostata.
Nothing was disappointing, everything was perfect!

Molto buono!!!. I am reluctant to even write a review on this restaurant for I do not want it to change or get to busy...they may put up their very reasonable prices!! I was in London for 5 days. I ended up at Rossodisera, I was hungry and not holding out much hope for a good pasta in one of the most touristy parts of London. I was expecting over cooked pasta with a jar of sauce it was pot luck!!!! Wow I was blown away. I returned twice more, my husband who left London before me asked if I could bring him back a take away to Australia!! Asif.... Seriously we had the pesto Linguini and the Aglio olio e peperoncino. It was sublime, honestly there are no words to describe the beauty of these sauces, simple but nicer than I had ever been able to make at home. On questioning I was told the pasta is made "a mano" by hand. The garlic was soft but not burned at all...how do they do it? I have tried many times since returning to Sydney to get my aglio olio e peperoncino just like theirs it was stunning. Good quality olive oil and parmesan. And a lot of the patrons seem to be Italian. I am still dreaming about it...can you tell?

Italians are picky when it comes to food, and even more when it comes to Italian food abroad. Surprisingly given its quite touristy location, Rossodisera has not disappointed my mamma's food-spoiled palate. I visited with a bunch of international friends on weekday, but given the tiny size of the restaurant we did well to book ahead. The staff was nice and smiling, and the ambiance warm and homely.

As starter, we opted for a selection of Italian cheeses and cured meats platters, leaving the choice to the chef. The hand-carved prosciutto was delicious, as well as the pecorino cheese accompanied with an assortment of honeys, and they all came with plenty of house bred. However, the portions were not exactly abundant, and for that price a few slices more would have been welcomed. To follow, given the season, we all had the restaurant signature dish, the truffle-scented chitarre alla sibilla. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazingly creamy and truffley, and I scooped it all with some more of the house bread.

We had no room for dessert, but a nice coffee or an Italian digestive liqueur helped us wash down the meal. Good Italian address in the area, and prices are not too bad if you keep track of how many bottles you are ordering, unlike we did.

We picked this restaurant based on the reviews and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. I had the rabbit ragu tagliatelle, and my friend chose the pasta carbonara. Both dishes were delicious. The rabbit ragu tagliatelle was rich and generous, and the portions were satisfying. For dessert, we enjoyed tiramisu and the traditional chocolate salame. I'm usually not a fan of tiramisu, but this one was unforgettable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be returning to this restaurant; it's a gem in this charming area.

Authentic Italian food. Felt like I was back in Italy. Pasta was fresh and so, so, so delicious. The meat and cheese board is a must. I had the rabbit ragu and my friend had the cabonara. Both were fabtastic. The space was quite small but luckily we got a table just before the lunch rush. Would definitely go back again. This is my new favourite Italian restaurant in London.

Perfect place for a casual, authentic italian meal with traditional recipes from mainly the Marche region. Genuine products, friendly staff, good prices and good portions, It gives you the feeling of eating in an authentic italian "trattoria", which is a cozy little restaurant, where everybody feels at home. In fact we ended up talking with the table next to us. I was really pleased with their tagliatelle al ragù di coniglio. Very delicate but tasty flavour. The Vincisgrassi, which is a sort of Lasagna, was also nice. Very much recommended!!

Truly a gem tucked away in the heart of London. The most phenomenal, authentic Italian food in an atmosphere to match.

If you are looking for a casual, authentic place for an Italian meal; this is the place. Our server was wonderful and the food was freshly made. We loved the burrata, rabbit on greens, goose and beef ragu on tagliatelle, and then the tiramisu and pana cotta with fruit and crumbles. What a great, unplanned dinner. When we are in the area for a show again, we will keep this place at the top of our list. The food is low on pretentiousness and high on quality.

When I tell you that every bite felt like an adventure; you can feel the spirit and care they put into their food as you eat. Plus the service was friendly and this’ll be in the top list of any foodie looking for a genuine, one of a kind experience. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had in my life.

Really cute little wine and cheese shop in the West End, perfect for pre theater dinner. The wines, meats and cheeses were all delicious and the stuffed fried olives and sausage bruschetta were both unique and really tasty. Would order it all again and happily go back any time we are catching a show.

A beautiful Italian restaurant, probably the best Italian restaurant in London if you're not looking for a borderline, overly experimental experience. No-frills traditional cuisine and excellent wine pairings. Genuine products, precise and friendly staff, excellent prices, generous portions, authentic Italian flavours. Traditional recipes from the Marche region and central Italy. Very central location within walking distance of Seven dials. One of those places that pacifies the soul and the body.

A fantastic little find a few years ago, so was delighted to be able to book a table for Saturday night. It's a great little Italian restaurant. I would suggest booking via the website as it is small and very popular. You know it's good when Italians come here for a taste of home.

What a nice place! We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely dinner. We had Rabbit pasta and Lasagna and of course tiramisu😍 The service was so good, felt really genuine. And kudos to the restaurant to only serve Italian soft drinks! Will be back!

Authentic Italian cuisine. Make a reservation if you can as it was full when we tried a walk-in on Saturday evening (we went to a nearby pub to have a drink while waiting for our table). I just removed 1 star because even if it's good, I felt the portions were not that big for the prices applied.

I had dinner with friends at Rossodisera and I was delighted. I have the opportunity to eat delicious food from Marche, so proper regional cuisine rather than the "standard Italian" offered by many restaurants. Staff were friendly and very polite, they answered all our questions on regional recipes we were unfamiliar in details and with a smile.

A very good Italian restaurant. The place is cosy, there are tables inside and outside. The dishes are good and really of Italian taste: spaghetti with mussels, piadina with cheese and vegetables, tomatoes spaghetti, dry sausage and as sweet a good chocolate sausage and Tiramisu.

Walked in after watching The Mousetrap. Fortunate to get seats without reservation. Nice and cosy place with great food. Try the Italian lemonade. Bruschetta was well presented. We had the stuffed olives, carbonara and vegetable stew. All wonderfully done!

We booked a table for 8 at about 30 minutes’ notice. I have to admit my hopes weren’t high—I wasn’t expecting much. But what an amazing place … they were so friendly and polite, and the food was fantastic. I would never have thought somewhere this good was operating in the West End. Definitely returning next time we’re in London.

Great little Italian, focusing on cuisine from Le Marche region. Food was good and service very friendly. Recommend the set menu, which is perfect per-theatre meal. Wine was also good and get Limoncello on-the-house at the end
