One can not go to London and not have at least a fish and chips meal... This is a good place to get it! Good prices, quick service and a variety of fish and chips options to choose from. I'll come back next time I'm in London. 10 min walk from the Westminster Abbey, close to Victoria Street!
Fish freshly cooked and chips fried almost perfection. Quick, convenient, and very reliable for a classic fish and chips fix. I had the cod and it was lovely.
This place is quite a decent option. The food is really good and is served by a warm and friendly staff. The service is quite efficient as well. This place is packed most of the time and thus I always prefer to go before twelve noon. The ambience is fine and has a relaxing feel to it. The main attraction is the food basically, my favourite being fish and chips.
The food tasted very good and the service was pretty quick. We went there for a late lunch and the staff was very polite and warm in welcoming the customers. We had cod and haddock and both the dishes were served in no time. The quality of the food was good and it was very well-prepared. The portions served were quite large and we totally enjoyed our time there.
This place always has a queue, which stands to testify the rich goodness that this place has on offer. It is very conveniently located, though a little less known. The menu has many varied kinds of fish, and we settled on trying the cod. It was crispy and mild, cooked to absolute perfection. We ordered the small version, and trust me, it was hardly small. The chips were also crispy and jot, and the beer was excellent. The service was quick and efficient, and in spite of the queue, we had to wait less than five minutes for our food. You should definitely seek out this hidden treasure.
I visited this place and had fish and chips. Trust me, it was the best that I have ever come across. The portions served were quite generous and I had a wholesome meal. I must say both the fish and chips were crispy and the quality was top notch. I also had lemonade which complimented the meal pretty well.

I have been visiting this place for a while now. I chanced upon it by default though. This place still serves the same food and it is still done to perfection. Not much has changed over 7 years and this is rather commendable. The service is great too with very friendly staff.
This is the best fish-and-chips option there is in this neighbourhood. We came here at five in the evening, and within half an hour, all the seats were occupied. The chips are fried really nicely, and the cod was amazing. It was perfectly battered, and very well executed. The prices are decent enough, and the serving was enormous. I will visit again whenever possible.
I have always struggled to get a good filling yet sumptuous portion of fish and chips in the neighbourhood or anywhere in London. The fish and chips here though are the best I have ever eaten till now. The perfectly battered fish with the perfect condiments by the sides are what makes it a winner!
This place is quite small that is why very busy all the time. They serve some pretty good fish and chips with an extensive selection of fish. I ordered the cod one. First of all, the portions were quite huge for one person and it was really delicious too. I also tried their chicken wings which were just average.
A place which serves the most fresh, crisp and consistently delicious Fish and Chips. To another upside, the portions are huge and thus filling! In Fact, the two of us had split a "small portion" of fish and chips and were still satiated. Inclined a non fish loving person towards this place. Definitely worth visiting !
I have enjoyed both my meals here. The quality of the sea food here is excellent and comparable to North Shields. The service here is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also very honest, as my partner had left her bag behind here.

i went here with a client who wanted to try some authentic English food , I went here with my sister and my client and I was so amazed by the quality of the food that they have been providing , portions were filling too.

This is a good place to dine with your friends and family. I really liked my fish and chips which is usually my staple order everywhere and hardly any place makes the fish soft, juicy and tender. But this place did full justice to my fish and chips. Have not tried a lot of dishes at this place so cant really comment on it.
What attracted us to this place was the fact that it looked so busy. Mostly with office goers and people dressed in power suits, grabbing a quick lunch. This place is very inviting and many local businessmen come here for their afternoon meal. We ordered delicious, fresh cod which was served to us with a heap of chips. I went here with my friends for a quick snack. We sat at the cafe and read the newspaper as the amicable waitress quickly took my order and delivered it within a matter of few minutes. All of the food items I ordered turned out to be better than I had expected. The meal was very filling and cost a mere 10 pounds. Definitely worth more than visit!
I do not really agree with the reviews here. This place serves really great fish and chips. There are always long, bustling queues outside its doors, and around to the corner, and these queues stand as a testament to the quality and taste of the fish an chips served here.
This place has to be complimented for maintaining its standards throughout.The reviews match my opinion on the amazing tartare sauce. According to me, the prices a bit on the expensive side but that i guess is okay.You should definitely go in for larger portions if you have an appetite for it.

Truly is a good place to have dinner with your friends if you are in this area. Fresh food and really well-cooked. I didn't like too much how the place look like. So, I would suggest them to improve that aspect because the zone is good.

During my visit to London, I had wanted to check out the original British fish and chips. I came across the Laughing Halibut as I was walking around the Westminster area. I decided to check this out as I found the name very interesting and it had fish and chips written outside.
The restaurant is relatively small and they operate an open kitchen format. I found a table for myself and ordered the traditional fish and chips. The fish was cod and looked to be deep friend in some kind of batter. It was really large and I had a difficult time finishing it. Being Indian, the fish was bland and so I dipped in liberal quantities of tomato sauce. The chips are like our potato wedges and they tasted quite ok. The entire meal cost me around 10 pounds which I think is reasonable in London.
It's a small place but good food. We got the cod bites and chips. They had us sit down and then took our order rather quickly. There was a line for take out so was expecting some delays. We were served quickly and food was good. This was our first time eating here and well worth the money.

A lovely fish & chips shop, I’m always sceptical about how the fish will be cooked, but this place fully lived up to the hype and reviews! Welcoming and friendly service, the fish is not greasy at all, and the chips are like they should be - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside😎👏🏻 The shop itself has lots of space and is not too busy, we had haddock and cod👍🏼 Well done, Laughing Halibut

We arrived here on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. This is a fastfood type place, the enterior is very basic. The place was almost empty but soon became full. The staff is welcoming, the meals came quickly. They give you big portions. The Cod & Chips and smashy peas were nice and fresh, a bit unseasoned for my taste. My friends tried the Chicken Nuggets & Chips and it was totally like in Mc'Donalds so I would recommend to stick to fish because that's their speciality. Ketchup, mayonnaise, tartare sauce are available on the tables.
A great place to start if looking for fish and chips in London. Food was as fresh as can be, and plenty of sauces were provided. Staff was extremely friendly.

Staying in area this week, we saved the best lunch for last. Cozy neighborhood local mom & pop shop. Friendly family, delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the halibut, shrimp and Jamaican patty. Run, don't walk to this spot...you won't be disappointed!!!
The best and most authentic fish and chips I've ever been to. Very friendly staff. The fish (cod) very good. And the chicken is also very good. Very good price. This place is really amazing and it shows that it is a family business. You can go without reservation.
Very very good fish and chips in London near Westminster ! They have a huge menu with huge variety of food and even vegetarian options ! The quality is high and the waiters are so kind ! I recommend it !
