This is the ideal place for everybody loving meat. The choice of different meat species is wide and the staff is absolutely competent (so you can receive good advice on the different dishes). The service is perfect and the location of this restaurant is super-central. I think it's ideal for a business dinner, as well as a date.
One of the best steak houses in London. You can choose the type of meat you want, and you can find a very wide selection. They have a great selection of wines to. I love it.
Elegant restaurant in South Kensington.
I've been before in the one on Regent street, which is a bit too loud and busy, however I was surprised to find this place calmer and better organized.
I tried their Churrasco de Chorizo, medium rear cut, and it was delicious. The meat is very juicy and melts in the mouth. My friend got the Chorizo steak with a blue cheese sauce, good but not comparable to my cut.
Went to Gaucho with family for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Freshly prepared and extremely flavourful. The service was wonderful too! I had a shrimp dish to start and a steak for main course.
Although Gaucho is pricey - it is most certainly worth it. I will definitely be back the next time I am in London.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon Gaucho!
Went here with friends in February loved the decor and inside it felt really cozy.
We were passing by and when looking at the lunch menu that was outside we thought it was a great offer so wanted to try it out.
On arrival we were greeted by a charming young lady Margarida that I found out was from Portugal as well so ended up chatting with her for a bit. We were then shown to our table that was located by the window, felt very private.
The meal was just as expected and we felt that the portions were big as we could not finish everything. The waiter Pedro gave us a few options for wines by the glass and we tried a few before making our decision. I thought this to be a great touch as it really allowed us to choose the wine we liked.
Next time in London will definitely return :)
We went with the family on Sunday lunch time and even though we didn't have a booking they still managed to accomodate.
High chairs were given for the children and we felt very welcome.
We ordered the roast which was delicious and the gravy absolutely delicious too.
The kids went for a Milanese and managed to eat it all which in my mum's books is a definite good sign.
A really pleasant time before going to the museum.
My boyfriend took me to Gaucho for my birthday to treat me to something special.
When we arrived we went to the bar for some cocktails where i enjoyed a bellini and my boyfriend a beer. The bar was very nice.
For dinner we started with a selection of marinated fish and later I had some medallions of fillet which were very tender and tasty and my boyfriend had a large ribeye.
When we were served our dessert they had written happy birthday on my plate and they even gave me a rose which I thought was a lovely touch really.
The staff was very nice with us and the place very busy.
I enjoyed a lot the decor and can't wait for him to take me back.
Although it is a stek house it offers a fine dining restaurant atmosphere with soft lightening, jazzy music, white linen napkins and excellent service. I would recommend to have a drink in the bar before the meal.
Definitely some of the best steak I've ever eaten service is fantastic choices were fantastic and the atmosphere was very cool The tables are nicely spread out so you get a lot of privacy
I am obsessed with the interior of this restaurant. The lamb was beyond delicious and the burgers were the yummiest and juiciest things ever. However, the service was a little slow.
Very good food and atmosphere!!! I highly recommend it! Its a good restaurant to go when you plan to go out after!! 5* service and quality!
Nice Staff. Great Atmosphere.
The lights of this place are just INCREDIBLE at night and... together with the mirrors, they create a chic and very stylish ambiance, which I loved.
We did not go there for dinner, but just for cocktails. I have to say they were very carefully made and tasted exquisite. I had a mix of oranges, passion fruit and Italian red wine, which was smooth, juicy and very refreshing.
I did not know the place for drinks, but the experience was definitely worth it. I suggest going with a group of intimate friends and have fun! In terms of prices, the place is average compared to others. You should expect spending roughly 20 £ for two cocktails.
You will not find a better steak anywhere else. The perfect place to discover just how good a steak can be, a huge choice of cuts and marinades as well. Lovely stuff
It pretty friendly restaurant. Sunday Roasted beef” never end “is soooo nice! all plates are delicious. Juicy beef slices 👏👏👏you can order again and again what ever you like to eat👍
We got the buy a gift voucher as a gift and decided to spend it here, which was a pretty good idea. Service was very great, food as well. The steak tartare was really nice. Steaks were supposed to be medium and actually were medium, so all good here as well. Fries were some of the best I've had anywhere (you don't really go there to have fries, but they really were tasty). I just wished the brownie was a tad sweeter, but no major issue here either. Would I spend here another gift voucher? Absolutely. Would I spend here my own money? Yep, I would.
What a beautiful place that deserves top score. The location and the plush designed Steak restaurant with a very reasonable price swing it for me. We had a 3 course meal and enjoyed every moment of it. The waiter was very attentive and always made sure we were satisfied with our choice. The flavoring of Argentinian food was spot on and delicious. The cocktail I chose, LA Passion Del Chocolate, was one of the best mixtures of fruits and alcohol. We left on a buzz, and I know I will be back at another London based location. It's worth your while chilling and enjoying the atmosphere and ambiance 💖
Loved our dining experience at Gaucho. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too busy, providing an intimate setting for a wonderful meal.
Our server Francesco was exceptionally attentive and personable. He took the time to give us a detailed explanation of the various cuts of beef on offer, as well as the origins of the meat, adding an educational touch to the dining experience.
As for the drinks, the Lychee Blossom was unique and might be the best version I've ever had. It had a slightly sour edge with a subtle fizz that made it stand out. The Flora Del Mundo was another pleasant surprise. Initially, I was concerned that the matcha might overpower the cocktail, but it was perfectly balanced and added a lovely depth of flavor.
The side dishes were equally impressive. My girlfriend declared the mashed potatoes as the best she's ever had, and I can vouch that the chips were phenomenal—crispy, salty, and skin-on, just how I like them.
The highlight, of course, was the CHURRASCO DE CHORIZO steak. Cooked to near perfection, it was very tender and beautifully complemented by a flavorful chimichurri sauce. Although it was closer to medium than medium-rare, it didn't detract from the overall experience.
In summary, Gaucho in Sloane Square offered a top-notch dining experience, characterized by exceptional service, an inviting atmosphere, and exquisite food. Highly recommended!
Federico was a great host. The food was incredible, don't miss the dulce de leche cheesecake!
Great dining experience with family for wedding anniversary celebrations but keeping it low key so no fuss. We went during the lunchtime hour and it was very quaint so could enjoy our company without the bustle of a crowd.
Great meal - I had the pork with mashed potatoes and the cookie dough dessert (not sharing and not pictured). Varied selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks so plenty to choose from and the waiting staff were very helpful and attentive too offering advice where needed.
from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated at a cozy table in the corner. Our waitress feven was friendly and attentive, We started off with some appetizers, and our main dishes I opted for the grilled steak with fries, and my friend chose Grilled chicken The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we left feeling impressed by the restaurant's high level of service and quality of food. We are definitely already planning
Great place in London for some Argentinian steak. The decor is comfortable (questionable music..). Really friendly and helpful staff. The starters were great. The steaks were cooked really nicely. The chimichurri steak is really juicy. Wines were well recommended and desserts not bad.
Delicious steaks and salads. The host showed us steak portion sizes and requested how we liked our steak cooked. Really nice atmosphere and good parking. We had a relatively small table, but was cozy and we preferred this. The lighting was beautiful, quite intimate and the interior design was warm and inviting. Would recommend.
stunning restaurant with welcoming staff and divine food fabulous night out really enjoyed our meal
Came here for a birthday dinner and it was fabulous. The steak was amazing
Good food and easy to park after 6.30 pm
Some of the best food I have ever eaten. From the starter right to the dessert.. absolutely perfect. And the service was unlike any I have received anywhere else. Amazing.
Tried their Sirloin Steak, it was tender and cooked very well in my preferred way.
The service need to be improved, slow service to taking orders and also wait so long to bring the bill, a-bit if ignoring of our table.
Loved dining here. I opted for a rump steak with peppercorn sauce, mushrooms and carrots. The rump steak with peppercorn sauce was fat & delicious. The carrots were placed over goats cheese and mushrooms were out of this world. I was thoroughly happy with my choice, but would like to try the other steak options next time. I did feel my food went cold fairly quick & I’ve never really been a slow eater, but nevertheless, it was an enjoyable afternoon. The staff were lovely & our waitress was super sweet. I would recommend to arrive before 3pm to have the option of choosing from the Set Lunch Menu, should you decide to go in the afternoon.
The food was delicious, rich with flavour and well presented. I'm a fan of steak (medium rare) and the platter with the 4 different cuts was the perfect introduction to Argentinian beef and added to overall experience. The wine was another gem that we found in this place! Our waiters were attentive, friendly and made the evening thoroughly enjoyable.
