Great food, well presented. My preferred were the black cod, salmon and cutlets. Quite busy restaurant, but service is good. Nice touch to be able to see part of the cuisine in action.

Really Great food, loss of variety of beautifully made Japanese dishes. Services is great, they really look after you. Staff at the cocktail bar know what they're doing and make high quality drinks. Had been one of our favourites for a long time.

No doubt this is such a highly rated place. Was here on my last UK trip, and had to even wait a while to get to enter.
The cuisine, the preparation (they have an open kitchen in the centre of the dining area), the service, the courtesy of the staff... everything was out of the world. 10/10 will recommend.

P.S. will pinch your wallet, but it is worth it.

Went for the Sunday brunch special, service was excellent, the food was very good as well, but some dishes weren't great and the portions seemed excessively small given we ha a party of 6. The dessert was my favourite by far though.

Although a bit on the pricey side this franchise has a fantastic warm and inviting interior. Great vibe with sublime food. The black cod marinated in yuzu miso and soft shell crab was particularly good.

The sushi... I've had better so wouldn't particularly go out of my way to order it the next time I'm there but the main meals are definitely worth a try.

I’ve been meaning to go to Roka for quite some time now. Since Taste of London 2014 to be precise; I never forget a meeting, first impressions do count, and Roka’s cod and crab dumplings made quite the impression on me. After fighting a certain someone for the last one, I made a mental note to book in a proper meal at the restaurant soon but that plan fell by the wayside. It was my first year in London so all the old restaurants were new and shiny to me, and all the new restaurants were even shinier… Roka was soon forgotten.

When Time Out offered the weekend brunch at Roka Aldwych for £30 (usually £55), I couldn’t resist!. Rainer Becker, a German-born chef, opened Roka on Charlotte Street in 2004 after the success of his first culinary adventure in London, Zuma. Since then Roka has turned into an award winning chain with locations in key areas of London. Rainer is continuing his culinary adventure globally and has opened restaurants all over the world as well a third one in London called Oblix in The Shard.

There's something really special about ROKA restaurants that I can't quite put my finger on. Every meal there is quite honestly, perfect. The service, the food and the ambiance are all exactly what I love about fine dining in London, so when mum was visiting I could think of no better place to take her for lunch - especially when Bookatable offer a fantastic £41 set menu.

It was a spontaneous decision to go to Roka, no reservation made, we just walked in and were seated instantly!

The service was amazing. Welcoming, helpful, extremely friendly and fast. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried several different dishes, including sushi, barbecued meats, gyoza to try as much as possible.

We never had to wait long, all dishes were presented well and absolutely delicious.

The desserts are an absolute must! The cheesecake was a delight!

I can only recommend Roka and cant wait to be back!

If you happen to be lucky enough, or should I say, fast enough to snap up the TimeOut deal you’re definitely in for a treat! With a voucher in hand, Kate and I were entitled to 10 small plates, a main, a dessert platter, a bellini and unlimited wine (until dessert was served).

There's so much I have to say about this place, and I can only hope my pictures do it justice. For more pictures or more detail about the dishes, feel free to read our blog post on Roka!

I first visited the bar at Roka's Charlotte Street branch not really knowing anything about it, except that it was rather popular on a Friday night and that there was a pretty swish bar downstairs with some great bar food and cocktails. . 2 years later, I finally made it to the food at the Aldwych site.

I have friends who rave about Roka. Having not been to a single one of these Japanese restaurant (there are four in London; the original is in Charlotte Street, there’s another in Canary Wharf, one in Mayfair and the one I visited, Roka Aldwych) I was excited.  I arrived early, handed my coat to the waiting reception staff and perched on a stool at the glamorous bar, dutifully sipping on a glass of water and waiting for The-Hedonist who I’d invited to join me.  He’s spent a lot of time in Japan, originally when he was in a boy band that *happened* to have a number one single over there, more recently on holiday with his family this year.  So, he was the obvious choice of guest to drag along and help critique the Bookatable special menu offer.

After hearing so much about ROKA restaurants and their fantastic food from both Angie and Andrea, it's been top of my "must visit" London restaurant list for quite a while, and so when Time Out popped up with their incredible value £30 voucher for unlimited food and wine at ROKA Aldwych, the newest ROKA restaurant, a hashtag of merry bloggers couldn't resist, could we?!

OMG unlimited food and prosecco at my favourite restaurant for £30!! As soon as Ellie sent me the link to the Time Out offer I was on the website straight away purchasing tickets for the Han Setto brunch at Roka Aldwych. Soon a gang was assembled and date put in the diary; an intrepid team of food bloggers including Aftab, Lauren, May, Ellie and Emma ready to take on the challenge. Some of us had met many times before, and some were meeting each other for the first time. Emma is my regular brunch buddy, Lauren is a fellow lover of fizz and Aftab and I could chat for hours over a coffee. I was meeting May for the second time after our recent brunch at Kopapa, and it was the first time I was meeting Ellie properly having only bumped into each other before. Those that didn’t know each other felt like they did after having a good stalk of each other’s blog, and if there was any awkwardness that would soon fade as our ‘lubrication’ began with a mango mimosa. With it being a big group and a popular restaurant we hadn’t been able to get a table in the main area, but I actually loved having a table in the bar at the front of the restaurant. It was really cosy and we all agreed it allowed for better lighting conditions for us enthusiastic shutter bugs. The set menu has a selection of ten starters designed to share and these are unlimited so you’re free to order more! We soon got started on this pretty, colourful tomato salad with shisho and hijiki dressing. As well as this stunning selection of sashimi, my favourite being the tuna. The Han Setto offer also comes with unlimited wine and the waitress asked what type we’d prefer, a resounding chorus of ‘prosecco’ was the response!I loved the dry finish on the fizz and they were certainly generous about keeping it topped up, as the multiple hangovers suffered the next day will attest to…The sushi platter including salmon and avocado as well as crispy prawn and avocado maki rolls. The latter were the favourite of the day and we actually ordered another portion of these. We were slightly disappointed that the second round came with half the number of rolls…but to be fair we’re greedy food bloggers and this was probably a good thing…I’ve mentioned before I don’t like sesame dressing, so I left this spinach salad for the others to enjoy. But we all tucked in to the beef and ginger dumplings with gusto. As I mentioned, Roka is my favourite restaurant and the food at the Han Setto brunch was good but I didn’t feel that it was as excellent as it is when ordering from the à la carte menu BUT at £30 you can’t complain!! Another starter was this potato and egg salad which I didn’t try as it didn’t appeal to me – it was the least favourite dish of the day and most of it remained on the table. The final starter was the assorted vegetable and prawn tempura. I’m a huge fan of the tempura at Roka which is always so light, crisp and non-greasy plus the prawns were huge!

I have mad, mad, mad love for Roka Aldwych and I fell even more in love with the restaurant because they have the best Sunday menu in town. The Han Setto Brunch is a £39 deal for a whole lot of food and it's quality Japanese fare that's absolutely designed for the hungry. By the way... don't let the "brunch" tag fool you. The menu is available all day.

Ok the brunch is a ridiculously good deal. £39 may seem like a lot but it gets you pretty much unlimited food and it's all just delicious. The sashimi is fresh, the potato salad is light, the spinach dressed in sesame sauce is rich and the main courses - seabream was sweet and sticky and the chicken was tender. Also the dessert platter is just a piece of art

This is a place that's been on my wishlist for quite a while now, so I'm excited to have finally tried it! The restaurant in question is Roka - the Aldwych branch, to be exact. . I kept putting off my first visit, because this kind of Japanese/fusion cuisine usually comes with a high price tag, and often they aren't justified, which makes me afraid to splash that kind of cash. But when I found out about their Han Setto brunch menu on Sundays (only at the Aldwych branch, and it's not really a brunch at all - available all day), it sounded like a good way to try it - and (very) belatedly celebrating my sister's birthday with her and E seemed like the perfect excuse.

Hence I’ve already reviewed Roka, Charlotte Street twice, once back in May, and again for my birthday meal in June. However, I haven’t yet reviewed Roka, Aldwych, OR the premium tasting menu, so you’re still in for a treat (and lots of new dishes). After more work drinks than you could (EVER) possibly imagine, with the last few occurring in Demon Wise, which I must say does some rather quirky cocktails:

This has been a long overdue post when I decided to meet up with fellow food bloggers Em ( Catch 52), Felicia ( Dancing in High Heels) and off course Ellie ( The Young Domestic Goddess). I’ve been following them since forever and 4 was just a perfect number to meet with these eaters and get to know one another face to face. I found this really awesome offer on Timeout which was a bottomless Han Setto Brunch at Roka for £30 pp instead of their usual £55. Honestly I didn’t know what Han Setto meant but that basically means “meal menu” where you get 10 set dishes ( I didn’t realise this was unlimited), you choose 1 main and when the dessert sharing platter arrives the bottomless prosecco ends (boo). My preconception was that the 10 dishes were going to be super tiny but surprisingly that’s not the case! With the starters being unlimited, we ordered multiple portions of sashimi which was a no brainer, but the general consensus was that we weren’t a big fan of the potato salad – it wasn’t great and since we had a lot of incoming dishes we wanted to reserve our appetite for what’s to come. Here were the 10 dishes for the Han Setto Sunday Brunch:

It’s been a while since I blogged, and what a nice venue to re-start blogging on – Roka Aldwych newly opened at the beginning of November 2014 right next door to my former University, LSE. My immediate thought was that I could now find a table more easily with another branch of Roka opening. And as per usual I did not read prior write ups on Roka Aldwych, and additionally I was rather late in making a reservation, literary at 11am for a 3pm lunch on the same day! It was meant to be… lunch at Roka Aldwych.

Everyone loves a bargain, and the four of us were lucky enough to grab the last few vouchers from the TimeOut website just before they sold out. Located just a few minutes walk from Covent Garden, and just round the corner from The Strand, ROKA Aldwych was the fourth ROKA branch that opened in November 2014. The design of the interior is modern and contemporary, with a central open-grill kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work (and the occasional dramatic burst of flames)

When Time Out were offering a set-brunch menu at ROKA for just £30 I swear I nearly fell out of my chair. So myself and a bunch of bloggers including May from Red Velvet London, Em from Catch 52 and Felicia from Dancing in High Heels, book ourselves onto this amazing deal and wandered down to the Aldwych location in high hopes.

This award winning Japanese restaurant is one of the best known in London and is currently on its fourth location in the city. It serves up robata style Japanese food (meaning from the grill), sushi and amazing wines. There are plenty of rave reviews across the internet for ROKA, but here's my two cents to add to the pile! Enjoy.

Highlights

This was certainly one of the more interesting brunches I have been too that’s for sure.

I loved having unlimited wine and a cocktail to start, it made the occasion feel special without needing to worry about the cost.

The sashimi bowl and sushi platter were both delicious. The salmon was sourced from Scotland and the seam bream from the Med – it was inspiring that the waiters knew exactly where the produce came from.

The pot sticker dumplings were simply wonderful; moorish, meaty and sweet with a great texture.

The beef fillet – which we had one cooked rare and one cooked medium – was also very good. The difference in texture was quite notable but the flavour beautifully sweet yet savoury.

The sea bream was delicious with its honey dressing and large portion. The skin was kindly removed which made sharing it much easier.

The baby ribs were UNBELIEVABLE. The dish was kindly made without cashew nuts (upon request), and was topped with shredded spring onion. The BBQ flavour was absolutely wonderful with notes of sweet, sour and heat.

Lowlights

I wasn’t a fan of the Japanese pickles, but this is based on my personal flavour preferences.

We were all not really a fan of the potato and bacon salad or the tomato salad. These felt a little too Western compared to the rest of the dishes and the texture of the potato salad was not very pleasant.

Sundays are always days that I put aside for pure relaxation – staying in bed, catching up on a bit of writing and TV shows. One thing I will always leave my house for though is food,. Roka was booked after seeing an amazing £30 bottomless brunch deal on Timeout. The Han Setto Sunday Brunch is normally available from 12 noon until 8pm, priced at £39 per person with a Bellini on arrival; or at £55 per person with unlimited red, white or prosecco. If the alcohol wasn't good enough - it includes an unlimited selection of 10 different starters, a main and the most beautiful dessert platter. The brunch was simply amazing.

He arranged for us to stay in a beautiful apartment on Aldwych (more to come on that) directly across the road from the restaurant he'd chosen for dinner - Roka. I love Japanese food and Roka has been on my to-go list for years so Tom really excelled with this choice!. Seeing as it was a special occasion, we went for Roka's premium tasting menu so we could try as many dishes as possible.

Roka will always have a special spot in my heart. The flagship on Charlotte Street used to be a favourite for meetings, post-work dinner with friends, and impromptu tête-à-têtes with an old friend-on-tap. Since moving offices and losing said friend to the Americas a few years ago, I can count the number of times I've gone back.

Love and Limoncello Foodie Points1.  We visited Roka on a Sunday and were excepting a quite atmosphere, but the restaurant was really buzzing and had a superb ambience.2.  The sushi at Roka was pretty good, we had a whole selection of dishes.  My favourite stand out dish would have to be there ribs, which was glazed in an excellent sauce.  The seabass was also exceptional. I am not really a lover of ordering fish in a restaurant so really enjoyed the dish.3.  We opted to have a few cocktails before our meal and they were extremely good.4.  The only thing which let Roka down ever so slightly was the service.  I think as it was so busy it was difficult for them to keep up.  However overall a fabulous spot.

Re-visiting Roka Aldwych… the mega lunch catch up meet up venue! This time instead of the tasting menu, we opted for the lunch menu with a few extras. Our lovely waitress  was very obliging. The lunch menu at £27 per person consisted of: iceberg salada no wafu (iceberg lettuce with caramelised onion dressing), tempura moriawase (assorted tempura), 3 sashimi (chef’s sashimi selection), sake oshisushi (pressed sushi salmon, ume boshi and shiso), then a selection from the robata grill or kitchen from three dishes – sake teriyaki (salmon fillet teriyaki with sansho salt), or hinardori no miso yaki (baby chicken, lemon, miso and garlic soy), or koushiniku no katsu (veal t-bone with yuzu cucumber red apple and miso tonkatsu). All served with a bowl of rice.

The sashimi at Roka is beautifully prepared and presented, and I would definitely recommend a mixed platter to try a bit of everything: salmon, tuna, octopus were all perfectly cut.

We also had a tuna tartare with our rare selection which is prepared with a quails egg and caviar on a little wooden spoon. Gary ably mixed it together and we all had a small morsel, we really needed one each it was so good!

Our last raw dish was the very delicious tuna tataki with apple mustard.

The crispy prawns are another favourite of mine at Roka, the batter is light and crunchy and totally non-greasy and perfect with the accompanying chilli dressing.

Gyoza filled with black cod, crab and crayfish were delicious pillows of delight and I loved the chilli edamame dressing.

The chain of Roka restaurants offer a unique style of contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine, a cooking method where items of food are slowly grilled over hot charcoal. The original branch of Roka opened on Charlotte Street to much success and subsequent branches followed in Canary Wharf, Mayfair and on Aldwych. But the menu extends beyond just robata dishes. There is also a delectable selection of sashimi and nigiri, fried options including tempura, snacks, soups and rice dishes such as hot pots with lobster and miso butter.

Now how good does that sound?

We visited Roka Aldwych which opened last November. Designed by Claudio Silvestrin who was also responsible for L’anima and Alan Yau’s Princi on Wardour Street, the restaurant is spacious and grand with a sleek, contemporary minimalist look, a style for which Silvestrin is well known. Like all the other Rokas, the robata grill plays centre stage at Roka Aldwych, and in addition to the tables in the main dining room, guests can also eat in the lounge area and at the robata bar.

We started with the yellowtail sashimi with truffle yuzu dressing, mizuna and pickled vegetables (£14.60), and the spectacular scent of truffle immediately caught our attention when the dish arrived at our table. This dish was pure perfection. The quality of the fish and the balance of the truffle yuzu dressing was absolutely flawless. It was an exquisite dish and we enjoyed it immensely. If you only order one thing at Roka Aldwych, this has to be it.

Roka - yellowtail sashimi with truffle yuzu dressing, mizuna and pickled vegetables
Roka – yellowtail sashimi with truffle yuzu dressing, mizuna and pickled vegetables
We followed this with the 5-piece sashimi selection and the tuna tartare. The sashimi included salmon, tuna, sea bream, yellow tail and sweet shrimp (£26.60) and was delectable. The quality, taste and texture of the sashimi were sublime, and the fish was unquestionably of the highest grade.

The tuna tartare with oscietra caviar and quail egg yolk (£12.60) was a clever spin on a French favourite. The French tradition was not lost as we ceremoniously combined fish with the egg and caviar to enjoy the tartare in its entirety. This was served with a lovely piece of crunchy crispbread which added a crunchy contrast. Again, this was as marvellous as the previous dishes.

From the tataki section, the seared beef striploin with black truffle dressing, cucumber, daikon pickle and miso tapioca crisp (£13.00) was another enjoyable dish. The beef was wonderfully tender and tasty, although the black truffle dressing was not as aromatic as that of the truffle ponzu dressing in the yellowtail sashimi dish.

The rock shrimp tempura with wasabi pea seasoning and chilli mayonnaise (£14.30) came with rock shrimp that was sweet and plump. As for the batter, it wasn’t a traditional tempura batter, but it was very enjoyable nevertheless as it was light and crispy. This was a tasty modern recreation of a traditional favourite with a solid dipping sauce.

We moved onto the robata section, starting with some spiced chicken wings with salt and lime (£4.90) which were sticky, succulent and tender. These were delicious with a sticky sweet marinade.

Glazed baby back ribs with cashew nuts (£15.00) were well cooked and very tender. However the sauce lacked oomph and we would have preferred a sauce with a bolder flavour. Although good, this was our least favourite dish from all the things we tried at Roka Aldwych.

We loved the whole lobster with ponzu and umami dressing (£38.60) as it was delicious. The charcoal effect of the robata grill had permeated the lobster flesh to give it a special and subtle smoky flavour that lingered lovingly after each bite. It was also topped with a wonderful ponzu and umami dressing which made it all the more delicious. The meat lobster had been cleverly carved out of the shell so that it was easy to eat and there was no need to mess around with the shell.

The texture of the black cod marinated in yuzu miso (£31.30) was absolutely gorgeous. This Roka signature boasted of a texture that was silky and smooth, and flesh that flaked beautifully. The yuzu miso was delicious and gave the fish a lovely caramelisation.

To desserts, and a dark chocolate and green tea pudding with crunchy jivara chocolate and pear ice cream (£9.60) did not disappoint. Chocolate on the outside, the inside of the pudding contained a molten green tea centre that glowed an emerald green colour. This dessert was deliciously comforting, rich and decadent, and paired well with the refreshing sweetness of the pear ice cream.

A Japanese style ‘cotton’ soft cheesecake accompanied with robata grilled pears and a cream cheese ice cream (£8.30) was equally enjoyable as it was lovely and light. The cheesecake resembled a light airy sponge cake, and the combination of the dusting of crumbs and the cream cheese ice cream created the delicious effect of a traditional cheesecake.

This was Japanese food of the highest order with a menu that provided a wonderful balance between the traditional and the contemporary. The quality of the produce was outstanding, and with the precise cooking at Roka Aldwych, the results were highly exciting. The service was knowledgeable and accommodating to round off an excellent experience from start to finish. The bill can stack up as there were so many items that can tempt you into over ordering, so choose carefully if you’re on a budget.

Located right next to university, this restaurant served me a fantastic night out with a combination of great drinks, food and service. One thing that really got me about this place was the staff service. The service is probably the best service I have received in London yet and really gives this place the added value it deserves.

Ordering a platter of its delicious sushi amongst other rice dishes, my meal was extremely fulfilling. Taking from its predecessor, Zuma, the sushi here was just brilliant and I would definitely urge one to come check it out!

Located right next to LSE, I visited the restaurant this week. The decor is very similar to the other Roka's in London. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The dishes I would recommend are the California rolls and the miso baby chicken - both are outstanding. Most of the sushi rolls here are very good.
They have a large drinks selection, whether it be cocktails, mocktails, wine or other choices. The sommelier is also on hand to help you choose a nice wine.
Overall, Roka is a very good restaurant serving brilliant food and fantastic service, with a great location (especially for me!).

We went as a group of 4 for the han setto brunch to celebrate my niece’s birthday. The food was well presented and sufficient in quantity. The first course were served, sharing style and comprised a varied selection of cooked food, greens (salad and edamame) and sushi and sashimi. The maki rolls were tiny and the sashimi is quite basic (salmon, tuna and prawn) but the gyoza was delicious. We were able to select our own main - we had the sea bream, ribs and chicken; decent portion size. The dessert selection was lovely and well presented. The only minus was the service levels. While it did get busier as the afternoon progressed, we had to keep asking for our drinks to be topped up. There was a soy sauce spill and the staff didn’t bother cleaning that up until I had to draw their attention to do so. The 14 percent service charge was a bit excessive considering the service was lacking. Staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming and barely smiled or acknowledged our presence once the food had been served. Usually fresh plates are offered as a minimum, between courses but this was not done despite it being fairly obvious. The bathrooms were also not particular maintained. Tissue paper on the floor by the sink gave off the impression that no one had checked the bathroom for a while. I’d go back again because I like Roka and the brunch is a nice experience but the service will hopefully improve.

Nice food and amazing service by Christina. We were running a little late and they accommodated us without trying to make us feel uncomfortable. The ribs and wings were not nice in my opinion, but I enjoyed the Soft Shell Crab with Roasted Chilli Dressing, the Tiger Prawn Tempura and sushi. The cocktails were nice too. The sticky toffee pudding & ice cream was tasty but I couldn’t even eat half because it was so rich. Personally, I think Zuma is much tastier.

We’re regulars at Roka but we usually go to the Charlotte Street one, came to Roka Aldwych for the weekend brunch and from start to finish it was exceptional. The food was delicious, the quantity was more than enough for 2 people. The service was great, very attentive, friendly staff and the restaurant itself was very spacious unlike the other Roka branches. We will definitely be coming here again.

The best lamb chops I’ve had to date. The tasting menu is decent. The steak and the lamb chops were fantastic and everything else was moreish. The chops are £9 a pop, so not cheap. I haven’t been to the places with a reputation for good lamb chops, but I really liked them. It’s a bit awkward for groups as they serve things on sharing platters, whereas individual plates would be easier - particularly where people have dietary requirements. Service was fine but felt a bit busy. The restaurant and location is nice. Would go back if someone else is paying.

I think it's the best Japanese restaurant I've been in London. Food ingredients are high quality and flavours are nice and complicated. However, the price is a bit too high for what you get I suppose...

If you are looking for great Japanese food and service, all set in one of the best restaurants in London, then Roka is a must.

Music is slightly too loud but we have a great time every time we go for brunch. Service is great and so is the food. The dishes are incredibly tasty and flavourful and you get so much for your money at brunch on the weekends. Highly recommend

My partner and I visited for a bottomless ‘Han Setto’ brunch for my birthday. I must say great value for money compared to other brunch options in London. If I would guess we had around 10 small plates consisting of Salads, Sushi, vegetable & meats dishes which were all delicious. We then got to choose a main course, I opted for the baby-back ribs which were excellent! Dessert came in the form of a fruit platter which also had ice creams, sorbets, and chocolate. We had Prosecco throughout our meal and our glasses were never empty in the 2 hour window we had. Highly recommend the experience, faultless.

Forever my favourite brunch place for friends, less so family because it can get a bit loud! But excellent food every time

Recommend booking in advance, and take note of any time restrictions on the table. Good service and very tasty food. Decent portion sizes. Vibrant atmosphere without being too noisy. All for food being delivered as and when it is ready, but disappointed by the rice being delivered long after the main dish it was supposed to accompany. Also took an age to get the bill once it was obvious we were done ordering anything else.

One of my favourite bottomless brunches in London!! Such good value for money. 10 different types of starters which are unlimited, a main each and sharing dessert platter. I like the starters more than the mains. Chicken was a bit salty, salmon was a bit flavourless and the ribs are hit and miss. Loved that the dessert platter had a mixture of fruit and desserts. I went for my birthday and the staff were lovely and bought out a ice cream etc. staff were nice, but could have filled up the drinks a bit more, we had to ask a few times.

A fantastic Sunday brunch! I could not have hoped for anything better. The food was tasty, venue was lovely and very accommodating with dietary restrictions and most importantly our lovely waitress Vicky was an absolute star! She brought a smile to our face, was extremely accommodating and has a natural talent in customer service. London needs more professionals like her! When it comes to the food - pace yourself, there is more than plenty of it for the brunch and all of it very tasty and great quality. I was glad to see the dessert had plenty of fresh fruit - this was exactly what was needed after a hefty meal. Wine was ok, nothing to rave about but went well with the food. The Bellini is different and very nice.

Food, atmosphere and service were incredible! We chose softshell crab, edamame, beef dumplings and mushroom hot pot and it was more than enough for three hungry gals!!

Exquisitely prepared and presented food. Took the taster menu and kept ordering rounds of the favourites that came. Desert was a masterpiece!

We had a great dinner with friends at ROKA! We took the tasting menu with a bottle of sake. The food was tasty. A bit disappointed by the Wagyu beef though... Also the service could be better.
