I visited this place with my friends and we were so satisfied with the food here. The taste is very original and finger lickin good. Butter chicken was amazing, we ordered chicken tikka, crispy corn, momos, baigan bharta, black dal, chilly gobhi. All of the disges were amazing, if anyone wants authentic Indian taste food then you should definitely visit this place. We all loved the food.
It is one of the best Indian restaurants in London. The staff here is very courteous and kind. The food is freshly prepared and delicious.Undoubtedly it is a must visit place of mouthwatering food.
Food served at Rangrez is tasty, fresh and definitely worth the prices they’re charging for it. I heard a lot about Rangrez Restaurant so I had to visit it and try out their signature north Indian cuisine. I must say that I loved the food and I was satisfied with the quantity as well. The staff is very kind and courteous as well.
Unless you are being served by the owner, who is very pleasant and does check up on you, then expect the service to be just okay. When we got in we asked if the place was toddler friendly and had high chairs. The soft spoken server who greeted us said yes and said he would seat us at a four person table. We then had our menus given by the other server and when we asked for the high chair again, he said the restaurant does not have high chairs at all!
Food is awsm!!! Very clean place the Cook is from Punjab, so cooked very delicious Indian cuisine. Must try of you love Indian Food. You can try any indian dish. We had dal Rice after long time we hot the proper Dal...
We were on a family vacation in London with parents and a toddler and needed an Indian food fix! This place was just perfect- they happily customized the dishes to be non spicy for a small child, which is so hard in most places that serve pre made food. Loved the service and home style food!
Best Indian food in London. I'm staying in London for over 2months and this is the only place that i prefer eating. Their food has real indian spice flavours and staff is excellent, they accomodated all my needs during all visits. Must try Chana Masala, Tawa Bhindi, Chicken Zalzala(chefs special spicy starter), Rocket Chicken.
Highly recommended!!!!!!!
Been here when i had a trip to hammersmith, London. Ordered Chicken Tikka as one of their best punjabi dish 5/5 6.5 pounds is good for its taste. Finally had some plain rice with Aaloo masala. Tastes good. Shared among three of us and the place was good to spend my dinner.
Food: 4/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Staff: 5/5
Location: 5/5 very convenient to locate just outside underground station.
Price: 4/5
I was craving for some authentic punjabi food and I happened to be at Hammersmith. I ordered all veg food, daal makhani, veg subji, roti and rice. It was proper authentic Indian food. The owner and manager as well as chef are Indians and know their clients and spices very well. Unlike one or "Indian restaurant" which are run by people who don't understand Indian food very well.
It's a definite Indian place and I loved every bit of it.
Chilli Ghobhi and Buttrer chicken kha kar maza aa gaya

Taste of Panjab
What a great restaurant
Small,cosy and run by family
Food was bursting with flavours and so far one of my best Indian food in London
Indian food is a mood thing. When cooking seems a chore, the type or range of cuisine you may or may not fancy runs through your consciousness then pick from the various places in the world with distinctive dishes. Hammersmith is bountiful with choices from every four corners of the globe. With Rangrez, the Indian food strikes the right balance between traditional and modern. They will cook to mild/medium/hot specification and the food is just out of this world tasty. As a dine in experience it is the place to go to after an event at the Apollo/Lyric just a second away from the conveniently located subway leading to both tube and bus. The atmosphere is great, with scattered cushions around the fitted seating and various pictures letting you know you're in India, via Hammersmith....a joy.
Top quality and an authentic indian food. It's a hidden gem in London. Not very cheap and size of dishes is decent. I highly recommend this restaurant
Amazing authentic family-run Indian restaurant. A must do!

Was at Rangrez restaurant &bar with some India pals to celebrate with a friend who just got a new job. I love the setting, the bubbling ambience and the smiling waiters. I obliged to my friend’s request to have chicken pieces cooked in a karahi with diced pepper, onion and whole spices as my meal. I have never been to Rangrez or tasted the meal before so I wasn’t expecting something special. It was opposite of my expectations, when I degusted the meal, I was very impressed with how it was prepared and well seasoned, that was the right meal for me at that time, very good first impression meal. Great meal! Brilliant ambience! Amazing customer service! Coming back again…..
Superb.. Best Indian food outside India. Initially it looked liked an ordinary small family run restaurant. But as soon as I took my first bite of Khati meethi Papdi and Paneer Zalzala it reminded me of Mother's home made recipes back in India..
I am a vegetarian and they had a wide variety of Vegetarian choices in the menu. Okra and Bombay aloo was amazing as well.
Service was great and staff very friendly. I will definitely be back. 100%.

Had dinner there last weekend and loved your rocket chicken and chicken wings starter.
and absolutely fell in love with spicy poppadum sprinkle with some spices which really tingled my taste buds.
will definitely recommend.
Thanks a lot for opening an authentic Indian restaurant in hammersmith.
Gr8 authentic Indian food
Real taste of North Indian food
Will come back soon with my family 92e9
Beautiful authentic Indian food,
Always comes hot and very good value for money, we are now regular customers.
Rangrez was a pleasant surprise.Located 2 mins from Hammersmith, Rangrez is definitely one of the more authentic Indian restaurants I've been to in London. To put it shortly, the food is fantastic !
I don't remember the exact details, as my friend ordered all the food, I had a paneer, a chicken dish and some amazing kebabs. The staff were really nice and attentive, and make you feel right at home. The ambience could do with some improvement, but is totally compensated by the dishes.
For an Indian living abroad a place like this is just what one needs.
This is by far the best Indian restaurant in London. It is the closest you will get to tasty Indian - punjabi food! Loved every bit of it and the food is just too good (great menu). Service is excellent and this run by a punjabi family, the vibe of the place is superb. Great atmosphere, quick and sharp service!
Best - chaat, dal, chicken zalzala, chilli chicken and palak pakoda chicken, the quality of chicken is extremely good- very tender and soft! Extremely delecious. I love this place and as a true foodie from India, definitely recommend this to anyone looking for great Indian food. I can assure you this is not any other takeaway, this is one of the very best restaurants, serving great quality food!
We had gone for a concert last week at Hammersmith Apollo, while leaving all of us were famished and we looked up restaurants close by and ended up at Rangrez. The menu looked great.
As mentioned earlier we were almost starving so as soon as the menu arrived we ordered for a starter and enough main course to feed 8 people (FYI, it was just 4 of us). Everything right from the Rocket Chicken (which is from their specials I guess) to the paneer was excellent, but the real winner was Dal Makhni, I don't think I have had better dal in London, so much so that we actually ordered 3 of them :).
They also gave us complimentary papad which was great as it kept us engaged by the time our food arrived. Oh also they have "Thums up!", although its for £3 but its definitely worth it.
Service: The staff was extremely courteous and polite. Will definitely visit again the next time I am around hammersmith.
To be honest Rangrez came across as a very pleasant surprise. I visited this restaurant with couple of friends right after attending the Cold Play concert recently. After a fantastic concert and lots of drinking the only thing which could have brought our spirits down was ordinary food. Fortunately the opposite happened and we experienced some real good authentic Indian food at the restaurant. We ordered 1 starter, 2-3 main courses and breads. My personal yardstick to judge a North Indian restaurant is by its "Daal Makhni" and the restaurants which do a good daal instantly become my favorites. Rangrez had a pretty decent daal compared to all the other self proclaimed "Indian restaurants' across London.
Apart from that The Rocket Chicken deserves a special mention too as it was one of their recommended dishes and we could see why it was after enjoying it. By the end of it we ordered 3 Daals, 1 Rocket Chicken, 1 Chicken starter and 1 Shahi Paneer combined with lots of breads and ended up paying 65pounds between four people - An amount I would pay any day when I am craving good Indian food!
i was amazed by the quality of food from this new restaurant . very tasty and felt like home food. the blend of spices and taste was perfect. It was also very reasonably priced as well. i would recommend it highly. I even took a takeaway for my friends at work who were also very happy.
Amazing Amazing Amazing food! Chicken was very tender and the curry's were rich in flavour. Being from an indian origin myself, I recommend this place as the chef's are from India and they know how to perfect a curry. Service was really good and the staff members are really sweet and knowledgable about their service. Reasonably priced as well.
Excellent Place to have some delicious Indian Meal
"Having visited Rangrez, an Indian restaurant in London Hammersmith, I can confidently say that it offers an authentic and delightful culinary experience. I dined there twice, once with my Indian friends, and we were thoroughly impressed. The vegetarian options, including the black lentils and paneer dishes, were bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The non-vegetarian offerings, such as the chicken and lamb dishes, were equally satisfying.
To accompany our flavorful curries, we indulged in the delectable garlic naan, which complemented the meal perfectly. The combination of the rich, aromatic curries and the soft, garlicky bread was a true delight for our taste buds.
Rangrez provides a cozy and inviting ambiance, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we felt welcomed throughout our meal. The staff members were knowledgeable and happy to guide us through the menu.
Overall, Rangrez in Hammersmith is a must-visit for Indian cuisine enthusiasts. With its mouthwatering vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including the flavorful black lentils and paneer dishes, as well as the well-executed chicken and lamb specialties, this restaurant offers an authentic taste of India. The garlic naan served alongside the curries adds an extra touch of deliciousness. Whether you're dining with friends or looking for a memorable culinary experience, Rangrez is sure to leave you satisfied and craving for more."
Visited with my father prior to a Genesis tribute at Hammersmith (Eventim) Apollo.
Service was somewhat absent for most of the meal but the food certainly made up for it.
Peshawari Naan
Garlic Naan
Pulao Rice
Lasooni Chicken Saagwala
Chicken Tikka Masala
A wonderful flight of flavours. Saagwala in particular was just the treat for the terrible cold I had at the time.
We shared a 2 seat table close to the window to watch the world go by. Nice meal, top company and a good time had by all.
Service here was amazing!!! The chef/owner was incredibly helpful and made everything grim scratch! Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Both meat and vegetarian dishes were incredible! Our server was also so kind and attentive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. we cleared our plates! very reasonably priced too. If you’re looking for good Indian in London- this is the place!!
I had an amazing time at rangrez. The food exactly what I was craving and now it’s gonna be my go to spot for my entire time in London. I would highly recommend rangrez as it’s exactly what you would wanna have. The quality of the food is amazing and the service is very good with a lovely atmosphere. Would really recommend everyone to come here at-least once. It’s gonna be memorable.
Absolutely 100% authentic North Indian Food. I had been craving the taste of those North Indian spices and had had walked down the streets searching for the same because I miss home. Finally came across Rangrez and the the dishes rejuvenated my taste buds and I couldn't stop eating. My tummy was full but the soul wanted more. The spicy corns couldn't be any better and the curries met the expectation, big time. Must try the Garlic naan and dal makhni!!! Paneer and chicken tikka are legit straight from the the streets on Delhi. The ambience multiplies the time there and the songs bring back the the good time. Not to forget the staff and the humblest owner. we were treated as a family and not as the guests. It did feel like home there and every aspect had my heart. Put simple, MUST GO and you wouldn't be disappointed. I can't stop blabbering..
It was a spontaneous walk in & what a nice surprise ! Food is absolutely delicious, very attentive staff & relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely comeback !
So tasty! Doesn't blow your head off. You can appreciate all the flavors and the staff give great advice. I chose Chicken Momos--a bit like Chinese dumplings, but crispier, lighter, and spicy. I then went for the new fish curry which, rather than chucks of fish, was a large piece of premium fish in delicious sauce. So much sauce that I ordered some butter na'an (in good advice), which was an eye opener. Crispy and thin in the middle, they were not at all the reason I didn't order them from the outset. A revelation. Onion bajis were small and vibrant, crispy and not dripping in oil. Apparently they use rapeseed oil which is lighter than most restaurants. i was adle to eat (and drink) everything with no discomfort.
Tasteful decor. Good, varied, and unobtrusive music.
I walked in because of the window posters attested to "awards" and was not disappointed!
Large bottles of cold Kingfisher FTW.
A very lovely place which serves very traditional Punjabi cuisine
The chef is from Delhi and he knows his stuff and the food is simply Devine
The prices are post pandemic but the location is next to Apollo and a pre theatre visit for a meal this places ticks all the boxes
The Chef did come and speak to us and it felt like a very friendly place
Highly recommended

Fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing, very authentic. The atmosphere was great too. Best of all was the owner. Such a nice and honest guy. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
What amazing food! Truly one of the best saag paneers I've ever had. Incredibly good quality rice. Naans were the right combo of fluffy & crispy. Decor smart. And the passionate owner / head chef walks the restaurant to chat about the food & get feedback. Really impressed.
