Amaya - London - Photo album

One of the finest Indian restaurants in London. Great atmosphere where (depending on your table) you can also see the chefs at work. Nice range of dishes - particularly liked the tandoori prawn and the biryani, but the absolute stand-out was the lamb sushi! It made me wonder why it hadn’t been done
I’ve been here a few times but over 7-8 years ago and always remembered their food being amazing. I suggested this place to celebrate a friends birthday and boy it did not disappoint. They have kept the same (if not better) standard, taste, ambience and flavour! We ordered the tasting menu and it wa
First experience of Indian fine dining. Contemporary food with some twist. Service was impeccable and everyone couldn’t do enough. Nice atmosphere with the food being the focus. The food was interesting. Tasty in parts and amazingly presented. Did it have the wow factor. Not sure it did. It was g
I loved this place so, so much. This was my first ever experience at a Michelin star restaurant and I wasn't sure if it would all be overblown hype, but everything from the cocktails to the food to the service and the ambiance was just perfect. Now I am just sad that I live in America and can't come
Great Indian restaurant, one of the best in London, highly recommended I will come back! For my personal taste and experience second rank after Trishna, but way better than Gymkhana. The chicken that I took was properly cooked without overcooking. A tasty marinade and super rich flavour. I also t
This restaurant was complete excellence. Every dish was high quality, amazing flavours, halal meat and attentive staff. I would come back if I had the chance.
I loved the restaurant and I think that everyone who likes Indian food will love it too. The meat was perfectly grilled and seasoned, lamp chops are a must - even if you are not a fan of lamp. In general all the food tasted authentic and it was well presented. I would recommend getting some small
Great food with great service. It is rightfully a one Michelin Star. One of the best fusion Indian I have had so far. Stuff are very lovely too.
Right, so the speciality of Amaya is grilled Indian meat. You can call that’s their signature. Lots of lovely grilled meats and we tried the seabass, paneer tikka and the pepper chicken tikka and venison Kebabs. All were pretty good. Decent wine list to accompany and also some good desserts to finis
More of a grill and meats place instead of saucy curries etc. All very delicious although service was a little slow. Did the tasting menu which was super filling but lovely flavours in each dish.
Great food and service at Amaya in Mayfair. We booked on a Tuesday evening for dinner and the dining room was full. The location was slightly difficult to find (situated down an alley just past Pantechnicon). Service was great as the evening progressed but felt awkward initially (something to do w
I don't think the service is Michelin worthy but the service certainly is, as is the atmosphere and decor.
Wonderful experience here! Had the set menu and yes the food is 10/10 and worthy of the Michelin star. Staff are great and the restaurant itself feels fancy. Looking forward to coming back soon. This restaurant is Halal.
Have visited here twice. Last visit was on the weekend. Cannot fault the service or food. Always flavourful, and due to seasonal menu it’s always exciting to try something new. We were a full vegetarian crowd and a vegan. They happily catered and altered dishes to meet our requirements.
I mean 🤤 this is an absolute must when visiting London ! We loved this restaurant so much the visit time we visited London we had to travel back for a second go. The flavors, ambiance and service is top notch.
Very nice experience and very tasty food, everything we ordered is in the photos, except for the Basil chicken chops. Everything we ordered is recommended. Also, some of us ordered prawns from the starter but they are not my style. However, who tried it says it is good. The gulab Jamon was good too
Went to Amaya's to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and I definitely recommend this place after my experience. We had the tasting menu and the food did not disappoint, the service was amazing and the restaurant ambience pleasant.
Michelin star very good restaurant nice quiet location good ambience very friendly staff comfortable seating first restaurant I have been to which has glass plates 😱 taste wise the food was delicious but a little on the bland side for me - at least on the spice level - even the biryani (though ta
